Imam Hasan al-Basri rahimahullaah said:

I swear by the One (i.e. Allaah) besides Whom none has the right to be worshipped, the Sunnah is the middle path between the extremist and the negligent one; therefore be patient upon it (i.e. the Sunnah) and may Allaah have mercy upon you. Indeed Ahlus Sunnah were the fewest people in the past and they will be the fewest in the future- those who neither agreed with the people of transgression and corruption in their transgression and corruption nor with the people of Bidah in their Bidah, [rather] they were patient upon the Sunnah until they met their Lord; therefore –by the will of Allaah- be like that.

[Sunan Ad-Darimi, 235]
Ask Allah for Everything

Anas ibn Malik (raḍiyAllāhu ‘anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

Let one of you ask his Lord concerning his needs, all of them, until he asks him even for a shoestring when it breaks.

[Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3973
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to as-Suyuti (Rahimahullah)]

Ask Allah for everything, even shoelaces, because if Allah does not make it easy for you to obtain it you will not obtain it.

‼️ IT'S NOT HIJAAB when it doesn't cover your neck, entire body, hair, ankles, feet.. you are beautified or perfumed.. it reveals the shape of your body.. you are wearing accessories with it.. it is thin and see through.. IT'S NOT HIJAAB ‼️

Surah al Ahzab : Ayat 59
Surat al Ahzab : Ayat 33
Surat an Nur : Ayat 31
It has been authentically reported that the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Whoever says to his brother, ‘O kaafir!’ It returns to one of them.” He also said: “Anyone who called his brother ‘O kaafir!’ Or ‘O enemy of Allaah!’ And it was not correct, it would return back to him.”* i.e., whatever he said falls back on him.

This is a strong threat, warning the people of accusing others of disbelieving and being sinful, except when they have sure knowledge and understanding. This and other evidences are also a warning that one should be careful to guard his tongue, and only say, that which is good.

Ibn Qayyim rahimahullah on Akhlaq: Entire religion is good character, manners:

Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “The religion itself is entirely good character, so whoever surpasses you in character has surpassed you in religion. Likewise, it is such with spirituality (al-tasawwuf). Al-Kanani said: Spirituality is itself good character, so whoever surpasses you in character has surpassed you in spirituality.”

The Doors To The Hellfire

Ibnul-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said:

"The people enter the Hellfire by three doors:

1) The door of doubts which led to uncertainty in the religion of Allaah,

2) the door of lusts which led to preferring desires over obedience to Allaah,

3) and the door of anger which led to aggression against His creation.

The sources of every sin are 3 matters:

- Arrogance which caused shaytaan to behave the way he did,
- Greed which caused Aadam to be expelled from the garden,
- And envy which emboldened one of the sons of Aadam against his brother.

He who protects himself from these three matters will be protected from evil;

- Disbelief comes from arrogance,
- Disobedience comes from greed,
- And transgression and injustice come from envy.

Allaah in His wisdom made every inward and outward part of the son of Aadam as a machine which, if he used properly, will complete him. The eye is a device for seeing, the ears a device for hearing, the nose a device for smelling, the tongue a device for speaking, the private parts a device for marriage, the hands a device for power, the legs a device for walking, the heart a device for faith and knowledge, the soul a device for love, the mind a device for reflection and contemplation of worldly and religious consequences and to prefer what is worthy of preference and to neglect what is worthy of neglect.

The people who lose the most are those who are preoccupied with themselves instead of Allaah. Those who are preoccupied with other people are in even greater loss than them.

In the Sunan is the tradition of Abuu Sa’eed Al-Khudree which he attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him:

إِذَا أَصْبَحَ ابْنُ آدَمَ فَإِنَّ الْأَعْضَاءَ كُلَّهَا تُكَفِّرُ اللِّسَانَ فَتَقُولُ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ فِينَا فَإِنَّمَا نَحْنُ بِكَ فَإِنْ اسْتَقَمْتَ اسْتَقَمْنَا وَإِنْ اعْوَجَجْتَ اعْوَجَجْنَا

'When the son of Aadam awakens in the morning, all of his body parts defer to the tongue and they say: Fear Allaah concerning us, for we are only a part of you. If you are straight then we are straight, and if you are crooked then we are crooked.'

[Sunan At-Tirmithee, No. 2407, Grade: Sahih]

Indeed, they only submit to the tongue as it is the post of the heart, its representative, and the junction between itself and the limbs. The statement that ‘we are only part of you’ means our salvation or destruction only lies with the tongue."

[Al-Fawaaid, 1/58]
The wise person should rectify himself and keep away from sinful behavior by using his taqwā and righteous deeds. Therefore, if his body is not acting piously, he must reign it in and control it with his heart, because the actions of the limbs are purified by the purification of the heart.

Muslim manners include rectifying our unjust inclination to think poorly of others while thinking highly of oneself. The best of the Muslims are highly critical & suspicious of their own selves, questioning their own motives & actions much, while thinking the best of good people.

When someone of apparent goodness advises us & we don't see things how they do (initially), let's just listen & ask Allah to show us the good of his advice. Say: "Thank you for the advice. I'll think about it carefully." Maybe its exactly what we need & we just can't see it yet.

The Idle Person; Two Destructive Affairs; Acquire Knowledge Before It Is Taken Away: [Admonition By Abdullah Bin Mas’ood] In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Ibn Mas’ood said:

“I dislike to see a man being idle- neither (occupied) with beneficial affairs of the dunya, nor deeds of the Aakhira”. [Ref 1]

He [radiyallaahu-anhu] said:

“[There] are two affairs that are destructive- Self-amazement and despairing of Allaah’s Mercy”. [Ref 2]

He [radiyallaahu-anhu] said:

“Acquire knowledge before it is taken away and it being taken away is the departure of its people (i.e. the death of the scholars). Indeed, beware of [التنَطُّع (i.e. going beyond what Allaah has legislated with regards to one’s practice of the religion); التعمُّق (i.e. looking too deeply into affairs in a manner that leads a person to overstep the boundaries of the legislation) and بدع (innovation in religion). And upon you is (to hold onto the) ancient affair (i.e. the way of the Salaf)”. [Ref 3]

A man from Khuzā’ah wrote the following poetry:

My brother is not someone who shows me his love by speech alone;

Rather, my brother is someone who loves me through the difficult times,

Whose wealth is my wealth if I become destitute,

And whatever is mine is his if his fate changes.

Brotherhood during good times is not praiseworthy

If indeed, you deny the brothers when times become hard.

And then he is just “Hi, how are you?” and “Marhaba,”

But with his money, he is sly like a fox.

*Being Determined in One's Dua'aa*

Anas ibn Malik (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

*إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَعْزِمْ فِي الدُّعَاءِ وَلاَ يَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَعْطِنِي فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ مُسْتَكْرِهَ لَه*

*When one of you supplicates, let him be determined in the supplication and he should not say: O Allah, give me if you will. There is no one to coerce Allah.*

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5979

In another narration, the Prophet said:

ادْعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَنْتُمْ مُوقِنُونَ بِالْإِجَابَةِ

Call upon Allah with certainty that he will answer you.

Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3479

Ibn Hajar comments on this tradition, saying:

وَمَعْنَى الْأَمْرِ بِالْعَزْمِ الْجِدُّ فِيهِ وَأَنْ يَجْزِمَ بِوُقُوعِ مَطْلُوبِهِ

The meaning of determination is to be persistent in the supplication and to affirm that what is asked will occur.

Source: Fatḥ al-Bārī 5979

And An-Nawawi writes:

It is to have good expectations (ḥusn al-ẓann) that Allah the Exalted will answer you.

‘Alī bin Muhammad al-Bassāmi told me this poetry:

From the best types of sustenance is that which calms

The eyes of someone blessed, wealthy or poor.

To be happy with a small amount

Is better for you than wealth in a luxurious garden.

One of the greatest and most important gifts that Allāh can give his slaves is contentment. There is nothing more peaceful for the body than being pleased with Allāh’s decree. If there was no other praiseworthy characteristic of contentment except peace and refraining from falling into bad situations, then it would be obligatory for a wise person to hold on to contentment in every situation.

'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA) reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "He who has, in his heart, an ant's weight of arrogance will not enter Jannah." Someone said: "A man likes to wear beautiful clothes and shoes?" Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Allah is Beautiful, He loves beauty. Arrogance means ridiculing and rejecting the Truth and despising people."

(Riyad as-Salihin, Book 1, Hadith 612)

Ornamenting ourselves is a way of being grateful for Allah's bounty, but if the ego enters the heart, desires takeover to be better than others, the self rules our actions and we deviate from seeking Allah swt's pleasure. Beware of arrogance by remaining in a state of gratitude and humility.
Encouragement for Keeping Secrets

On the authority of Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه, the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

استعينوا على الحوائج بكتمان السر فإن لكل نعمة حاسدا.

Seek protection for your possessions by keeping secrets, because for every blessing there is an envier.*

Whoever seeks to traverse the way of the people of wisdom and intelligence should keep his inner thoughts secret; he should not declare that which he conceals to anyone, whether he deems them trustworthy or untrustworthy, because eventually at some point in time your relationship with one another may change and then he will reveal that which he used to keep secret to spite the other person.

* This hadīth is rated hasan (good); see its supporting narrations in As-Sahīhah (1453).

A Tree-Trunk Cried for Missing Muhammad! ===

Bukhari narrated that Jabir Ibn `Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, said, "The roof of the [Prophet’s] Masjid (in Madinah) was built over trunks of date-palms working as pillars. When the Prophet, blessing and mercy on him, delivered a khutbah (speech, sermon), he used to stand by one of those trunks, until the minbar (podium, pulpit) was made for him, and he used it instead. Then, we heard the trunk sending a sound (weeping) like of a pregnant she-camel, until the Prophet, salla allahu alaihi wa-sallam, went to it and placed his hand over it, then, it became quiet."

Imam Ahmad added in his narration that the Messenger of Allah said,

“This [tree-trunk] wept for missing the dhikr,” meaning, the remembrance of Allah the Messenger of Allah, blessings and mercy on him, used to recite and preach while standing next to it.

Also, Ibn Majah narrated from Abdullah Ibn Abbas and Anas Ibn Malik that, the Messenger [also] hugged the tree-trunk, until it became quiet. He then said,

“Had I not hugged it (the tree-trunk), it would have cried until the Day of Resurrection” (Sahih Ibn Majah)

What is the matter with Muslims today that many of them would follow people and ideas which lead them away from Muhammad, blessings and mercy on him, and from his Sunnah! Don’t they miss Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah,? Don’t they miss his blessed Sunnah?
