Upon Tawheed And Following The Sunnah

Shaykh Muhammad Nasir Uddeen Al-Albaani [رحمه الله] said:

❝Our problem today is that we have turned away from the foundational principle for which we were created; Which is the worship of Allaah - Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala. So, most of us do not worship Allaah and the few who do worship Allaah do not know how to worship Him.❞

[Silsilah Huda Wa Noor, (Tape: No. 5) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Miraath al-Anbiyya]
FIVE WAYS TO INCREASE YOUR RIZQ (provision)💰

1⃣ MAKING CONTINUES ISTAGHFAAR

Allah Ta'ala says:

"Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance; And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers."

📚: Qur'an [71:10-12]

2⃣ FEARING ALLAH (having Taqwa)

Allah Ta'ala says:

"And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him."

📚: Qur'an [65:2-3]

3⃣ RELYING ONLY UPON ALLAH

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"If you were to rely upon Allah with the required reliance, then He would provide for you just as a bird is provided for, it goes out in the morning empty, and returns full."

📚: Tirmidhi 2344 | Hasan

4⃣ UPHOLDING THE TIES OF KINSHIP

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever would like his rizq (provision) to be increased and his life to be extended, should uphold the ties of kinship."

📚: Sahih Bukhari 5986

5⃣ GIVING CHARITY

Allah Ta'ala says:

"Whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah's Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers."

📚: Qur'an [34:39]
Miraath Benefit
*Why learn knowledge?*
Translated

Ibn Qutayba -Rahimahullaah- describing why the Salaf used to seek knowledge, he said:

'A student in the past used to listen to learn and know to do good deeds and understand the Deen of Allaah so he could benefit himself and benefit others.

Now it has become: he listens to gather knowledge, he gathers knowledge so he can be mentioned amongst people, he memorizes so he can win an argument and can be proud.'

[Ikhtilaaf al-Alfaath p.18]

The Blessings Of Allaah

Shaykh Muhammad Bin Salih al-Uthaymeen [رحمه الله] said:

❝So reflect upon the blessings of Allaah upon you. These religious and worldly blessings are abundant, comprehensive, wide-ranging. With this you come to know the truthfulness of this Ayaah, Allaah [تعالى] said:

«and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily! Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, – a disbeliever» [Ibraheem: 34]❞

[Ash-Sharh al-Mumta, (1/99) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Miraath al-Anbiyya]
💎Deeds which are equal to the Reward of Hajj

From Abu Umamah that The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:

Whoever went to the Masjid not wanting except to learn goodness or to teach it then he has the reward equal to a person performing Hajj completely.’

*Physical Illnesses & Turning to Allaah*

*Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah -Rahimahullaah- said:*

‘Many sick people are cured without treatment but by a *supplication which is answered,* or beneficial Ruqqiyah, or strength of heart and good reliance upon Allaah.’

[Al-Fatawa 21/563]

*Allaama Ibn al-Qayyim -Rahimahullaah- said:*

‘How many people have been cured from illnesses and how many sick people have been pardoned by the *remembrance* of Allaah. . . *coming closer* to Allaah. …… and *turning repentantly* to Him and hastily turning to standing in prayer.

[Miftah Dar as-Sa’ada 1/250]

*Allaama Ibn al-Qayyim -Rahimahullaah- said:*

‘There is no illness from the illnesses of the *hearts and bodies* except that in the Qur’aan there is the path which shows its cure and the reasons for its illnesses.’

[Zad al-Ma’ad 4/352]

*Imam Muhammad bin Nasr al-Marwazi -Rahimahullaah- said:*

‘ We do not know of an act of obedience with which Allaah repels punishment like that of standing in prayer.’

He also said:

‘The recitation of the Qur’aan brings *benefits to illnesses* that which even honey cannot do for sicknesses of bodies.’

[Tabseerah p.79]

*Al-Hafidh Ibn Hajr -Rahimahullaah- said:*

‘Allaah makes a way out for His Awaliya when they are trialed. However, He delays that exit for some of them, some of the time to *purify* and *increase* the reward for them.’

[Fath al-Bari 6/483]

*Shaykh AbdurRahman as-Sa’adi -Rahimahullaah- said:*

‘Dua is the *weapon* for the strong and the weak. It is the *fortress* of the Prophets and the chosen ones and with *Dua they repel all trials..’*

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) used to say this duaa:

Allahumma inni aaozubika minal-ajzi wal-kasali wal-jubni wal-bukhli wal-harami wa azaabi-l qabr

• Oh Allah, I seek refuge with You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, old age and the torment of the grave.

Allahumma ati nafsi taqwaha wa zakkiha anta khairu man zakkaha anta waliyyuha wa maulaha

• Oh Allah, grant my soul piety and purify it, for You are the best to purify it. You are its Guardian and its Lord.

• Oh Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is not beneficial, a heart that is not humble (before You), a soul that is not satisfied and a prayer that is not answered."

When Love Hurts

Ibn Taimiyyah, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

Know that everyone who loves something for other than Allah’s [sake], that thing he loves will inevitably come to harm him.

Lots of Dua
Beware of evil intentions. Beware of plotting and planning evil against people, for Allaah تعالى knows what the plotters of evil do in secret & their thoughts...

"But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it." (35:43)
🔦 *Contemplate*💡:

For a Muslim, the purpose of all his actions should be for attaining the Aakhirah (the Hereafter). *This should be the purpose – the worship of Allaah, the pleasure of Allaah, the Jannah (Paradise), the protection from the punishment of the grave and the Jahannam (Hellfire).*

For how long do we live in this Dunya?! How many years?! 50 years? 60? 70? 100? How long is that as compared to the life of the Barzakh?! And how long is that as compared to the life of the Hereafter?!

Example: Nooh عليه السلام spent _950 years of his life_ in calling people towards Allaah. Compare that to how many thousands of years he is living in the life of Barzakh?!

Another example: We are in the year 1438H. Uthmaan Ibn Affaan رضي الله عنه was assassinated near the end of the year 35H. How many years have passed since then? For many years has he been in the grave? More than 1,400 (one thousand four hundred) years!

1,400 YEARS OF LIFE IN THE BARZAKH!

Till when will he be in the grave?! Another 100 years?! Another 1,000 years?! Only Allaah knows when the Hour will be established.

This life - in the Barzakh (in the grave) - of 1,000 years or 2,000 years, or as much as Allaah Wills! Does it not deserve that we work for it so that we are blessed in it?!

This life of 50, 60 or 70 years which we live, deduct from it the many years that go in childhood!
Deduct from it the many years that go in sleeping!
Deduct from it the years that go in sickness!
Deduct from it the many years that go in old age and senility!

How much of it is left?!

Then comes the Hereafter! The Eternal life! The life with no end! The life with no death – either in the Jannah or in the Jahannam! May Allaah make us of the people of Paradise and may He protect us from the punishment of the Hellfire!

So we want to abandon the life of the Hereafter for the life of this world?!
We want to gain the life of this fleeting world at the price of the Hereafter?!

What’s _wrong_ with us?!

Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said:

“There will come to the people years of treachery, when the liar will be regarded as honest, and the honest man will be regarded as a liar; the traitor will be regarded as trustworthy, and the trustworthy man will be regarded as a traitor; and the Ruwaybidah will decide matters.’ It was said: ‘Who are the Ruwaybidah?’ He said: ‘Worthless men who control the affairs of the people.’”
