Etiquettes of moving into a new house :
Every one of us will probably move into a new house some time or another, at least once in our lifetime. Here are some etiquettes of moving into the new house according to the Sunnah.
1) Thank Allah:
First and foremost be grateful for the blessing of Allaah, because being grateful is one of the noblest of deeds. Indeed it is Allaah alone that has blessed you and if you are thankful, Allaah will increase you even more in His blessings.
“And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: If you give thanks, I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily, My punishment is indeed severe” [Surah Ibraaheem:7]
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
Faith is of two halves: half is gratitude and half is patience.
2) Say this Dua:
Someone asked Sheikh Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen what a person should say if he enters his home. He said:
“Praise be to Allaah. When a man enters his house, he should say….
أعوذ بكلمات الله التامَّات من شر ما خلق
‘A’oodhu bi kalimaat-Illaah it-taammaati min sharri ma khalaq
(I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created)’ three times.
If he says this, then nothing will harm him until he leaves that place.”
Also when the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) saw something that he liked, he would say:
الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الذِي بِنِعمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
“Al-hamdu Lillaah illadhi bi ni’matihi tatimmu’l-saalihaat
(Praise be to Allaah by Whose grace good deeds are completed).” (Ibn Maajah)
3) Say Bismillaah and prevent the Shaytaan from entering:
Saying Bismillaah on entering your house will keep the Shaytaan out. The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
“When a man enters his house, and mentions Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, when he enters and when he eats, the Shaytaan says: ‘You have no place to stay and no dinner.’ But if he enters and does not mention Allaah when he enters, the Shaytaan says, ‘You have found a place to stay.’ And if he does not mention Allaah when he eats, he says: ‘You have found a place to stay and dinner.’” (Muslim)
This is not only for a new house, rather it includes all houses and all times of entering. So start your life in your new house with the remembrance of Allaah
4) Say Masha Allaah:
When you admire your new house, say
مَا شَاءَ اللهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللهِ
“Ma sha’ Allaah la quwwata illa Billaah.”
That is because Allaah said in the story of the two men in Surah al-Kahf:
“It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: ‘‘Ma sha’ Allaah la quwwata illa Billaah (that which Allaah wills (will come to pass! There is no power but with Allaah)’ If you see me less than you in wealth, and children” [Surah al-Kahf:39]
Ibn al-Qayyim said: “The one who enters his garden or house and sees something that he likes in his wealth or his family should hasten to say these words, and if he does, no harm will befall the thing that he admired.”
5) Protect your house from Envy and the Evil Eye:
One of the ways in which you can seek protection for your new house from the evil eye and envy is to say what the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) taught us.
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِن كُلِّ شَيطَانٍ وَهَامَّة ، وَمِن كُلِّ عَينٍ لَامَّةٍ
“U’eedhuka bi kalimaat-Allaah il-taammah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah
(I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allaah from every devil and poisonous reptile, and from every envious evil eye).” (Bukhaari)
6) Read Surah al-Baqarah:
Reading this blessed Surah will drive the Shayaateen away from your house. The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
“Do not make your houses into graves, for the Shaytaan flees from a house in which Surah al-Baqarah is recited.” (Muslim)

Shaykh Ibn Baaz said :
“It seems – and Allaah knows best – that by means of the reading of all of Soorat al-Baqarah, either on the radio or by the owner of the house, that which was mentioned by the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) may be achieved, namely Shaytaan fleeing from that house. (Majmoo’ al-Fataawa)
This shows us that any way that the reading is achieved is sufficient, be it reading it yourself or playing it on the CD, radio, etc.
7) Invite people to dinner:
Make food and invite people to come and eat, because that is a way of showing gratitude to Allaah. The Ulama tell us that holding a feast after acquiring property is called “wakeerah” and it is mustahabb (recommended) to do so, like all kinds of feasts that are given on happy occasions.
(8) Stay away from innovations:
There is no proof in the Qur’aan or Sunnah that justifies holding Qur’aan Khwaanis or ‘Khatams’ of ‘Yaa Salaamu’, etc. when a person moves to a new house. We don’t have any authentic reports about the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) or the Sahabah reading the different parts of the Qur’aan or holding Khatams when they, for example, migrated to Madeenah and moved to new houses. As a matter of fact, they didn’t do this EVER, at any part of their lives, whether they moved or not moved.
Also there is no proof in the Shari’ah of other innovations that people have invented when they first move into new houses such as taking the Qur’aan, or taking water and salt before anything else into their new house, burning chilies at the doorstep, etc. That is all superstition and thus forbidden.
This shows us that any way that the reading is achieved is sufficient, be it reading it yourself or playing it on the CD, radio, etc.

If there are only two things you can focus on this Ramadan. Let it be Quran and feeding others.

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said:
"We fasted Ramadan with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) did not lead us in Qiyam until there were seven days left of the month, then he led us in Qiyam until one-third of the night had passed. Then, when there were six days left, he did not lead us in Qiyam. When there were five days left, he led us in praying Qiyam until half the night had passed. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah (SA), why don't you lead us in praying Qiyam for the rest of the night?' He said: 'If a man prays with the Imam until he leaves, that will be continued for him as if he spent the whole night in prayer.' Then, when there were four days left, he did not lead us in praying Qiyam. When there were three days left he sent for his daughters and women, and gathered the people, and he led us in praying Qiyam until we feared that we would miss Al-Falah. Then he did not lead us in praying Qiyam for the rest of the month." Dawud (one of the narrators) said: "I said: ' What is falah?' He said: 'Sahur.'

In Sūrah Kahf, Allāh mentions:
وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا رَّجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًا
And put forward to them the example of two men; unto one of them We had given two gardens of grapes, and We had surrounded both with date-palms; and had put between them green crops (cultivated fields etc.).
كِلْتَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ آتَتْ أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَظْلِم مِّنْهُ شَيْئًا ۚ وَفَجَّرْنَا خِلَالَهُمَا نَهَرًا
Each of those two gardens brought forth its produce, and failed not in the least therein, and We caused a river to gush forth in the midst of them.
And he had wealth and he said to his companion, in the course of mutual talk: I am more than you in wealth and stronger in respect of men.
- Qurʾān, Sūrah Kahf, Verse 31-33
These verses describes the event of two people. One of whom had a lot of wealth and was proud of it, he refused to accept that there is any life after death, and if there is one, he claimed, he will be given more wealth and reward therein. His argument was that if Allah was not pleased with him, he would not have this amount of wealth in this world.
The other person, though less than him in wealth, was a true believer. He refuted the argument of the former by saying that the worldly wealth is not a sign of one being close to Allah, because the worldly benefits are given by Allah, in one way or the other, even to the disbelievers and sinful people, rather to the snakes, scorpions and beasts. It is a horrible mistake to presume that they are the signs of one's being approved by Allah. Therefore, neither your wealth is the proof of your behaviour being approved by Allah, nor my lesser wealth is a proof of disapproval by Him. Allah's approval or disapproval depends on one's faith and by deeds alone and not on the amount of wealth one has.

"Allah descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the first part of the night is over and says: I am the Lord; I am the Lord: who is there to supplicate Me so that I answer him? Who is there to beg of Me so that I grant him? Who is there to beg forgiveness from Me so that I forgive him? He continues like this till the day breaks." Sahih Muslim 758b
Take 15 minutes, take 10 minutes just before Fajr and pour your heart out to your Lord. I know you have to creep really slowly and quietly so the kids don't stir and you're counting how much sleep you'll actually get tonight.. I know. Tell Allah, ask Him for strength. May He grant you all EVERYTHING you need and more. ♥️♥️♥️

Virtues Of Friday
1 – On it is Salaat al-Jumuah (Friday prayer), which is the best of prayer.
Allah says: “O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salaah (prayer) on Friday (Jumuah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allaah [Jumuah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salaah (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know!” [al-Jumuah 62:9]
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The five daily prayers and from one Jumuah to the next is an expiation for whatever sins come in between them, so long as one does not commit a major sin.” [Muslim 233]
2 – Praying Fajr in congregation on Fridays is the best prayer that the Muslim can pray during the week.
The Messenger (ﷺ) said: “The best prayer before Allah is Fajr prayer on Friday in congregation.”
Narrated by al-Bayhaqi
One of the special features of Fajr prayer on Friday is that it is Sunnah to recite surat al-Sajdah in the first rak’ah and surat al-Insaan in the second.
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite in Fajr prayer in Fridays Alif-Laam-Meem Tanzeel (surat al-Sajdah) in the first rak’ah and Hal ata ‘ala’l-insaan heenun min al-dahr lam yakun shay’an madhkooran (surat al-Insaan) in the second.
[Narrated by Bukhari, 851; Muslim, 880]
3 – Whoever dies during the day or night of Friday, Allaah will protect him from the trial of the grave.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no Muslim who dies during the day of Friday or the night of Friday but Allah will protect him from the trial of the grave.”

Whoever fasts a day seeking the Face of Allaah and dies whilst doing so enters Paradise.
Whoever gave charity seeking the Face of Allaah and dies whilst doing so enters Paradise.’

I SAID A'MEEN, A'MEEN, A'MEEN.
Abu Huraira (radiAllahuanhu) reported: The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) ascended the pulpit and he said, “Amin, amin, amin.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the pulpit and said ameen, ameen, ameen.” The Prophet said, “Verily, Gabriel came to me and he said:
1. Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and he is not forgiven, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say amin. I said ameen.
2. Whoever sees his parents in their old age, one or both of them, and he does not honor them and he dies, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say amin. I said ameen.
3. Whoever has your name mentioned in his presence and does not send blessings upon you and he dies, then he will enter the Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say amin. I said ameen.”

This is a tremendous Hadith, it appears that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) gave expression to three curses, upon which Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said Aameen every time. In al-Durr al-Mansoor it is reported that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) advised Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) to say Aameen. Being an angel of such high mark, Jibraeel ‘s giving these curses is sure to be accepted. And more importantly who is saying amin - the leader of the Messengers. May Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) in His infinite mercy grant us His help and save us from these three dangers.

Performance of your #Salah are in Five levels - Which one do you belong to?
Ibnul-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah (rahimahullaah) said:
And mankind, with regard to their performance of prayer are in five levels:
Notice how all the following 5 levels are addressing those who actually DO their 5 salah!
The First:
The level of the one who is negligent and wrongs his soul: He is the one who falls short in performing wudhoo (ab...lution) properly, performing the prayer upon its time and within its specified limits, and in fulfilling its essential pillars.
The Second:
The one who guards his prayers upon their proper times and within their specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and performs his wudhoo with care. However, his striving (in achieving the above) is wasted due whisperings in his prayer so he is taken away by thoughts and ideas.
The Third:
The one who guards his prayers within the specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and strives with himself to repel the whisperings, thoughts and ideas. He is busy struggling against his enemy (Shaytaanor Satan) so that he does not steal from the prayer. On account of this he is engaged in (both) prayer and jihaad.
The Fourth:
The one who stands for the prayer, completes and perfects its due rights, its essential pillars, performs it within its specified limits and his heart becomes engrossed in safeguarding its rights and specified limits, so that nothing is wasted from it. His whole concern is directed towards its establishment, its completion and its perfection, as it should be. His heart is immersed in the prayer and in enslavement to his Lord the Exalted.
The Fifth:
The one who stands for the prayer like the one mentioned above. However, on top of this, he has taken and placed his heart in front of his Lord Azzawajall, looking towards Him with his heart with anticipation, (his heart) filled with His love and His might, as if he sees and witnesses Allaah. The whisperings, thoughts and ideas have vanished and the coverings which are between him and his Lord are raised. What is between this person and others with respect to the prayer, is superior and greater than what is between the heavens and the earth. This person is busy with his Lord Azzawajall, delighted with Him.
The First type will be punished, the second type will be held to account, the third will have his sins and shortcomings expiated, the fourth will be rewarded and the fifth will be close to his Lord, because he will receive the portion of the one who makes his prayer the delight and pleasure of his eye. Whoever makes his prayer, the delight and pleasure of his eye, will have the nearness to his Lord Azzawajall made the delight and pleasure of his eye in the hereafter. He will also be made a pleasure to the eye in this world since whoever makes Allaah the pleasure of his eye in this world, every other eye will become delighted and pleased with him.
Makes you think twice about the next time you stand to say Allahu Akbar...makes you think about those who do not even do their salah!

“A sin is never free of punishment. However, due to the ignorance of the servant, he doesn’t feel what is in it of punishment because he is like a drunk, drugged and sleeping person who doesn’t feel the pain; but when he wakes up, he feels it.”

If Ramadan is 30 days then we have 60 duas that would be answered.

Do not lose hope in the Mercy of الله , for He is the Creator. He will create another way for you. Never get tired of asking اللهِ for whatever you need. Allah says in the Quran:
“And seek help in patience and prayer…” [Al-Baqarah: 45]
Yaa Allaah ! Grant complete shifaa and speedy recovery to all those that are sick at home or in hospitals. Aameen

When we see the day of judgment, we will realize how short the dunya is. Just the morning that day will be like a millennium. We are talking about 50,000 years – 50 millennia! When we see the Day of Judgment, we will think of this dunya as an afternoon or a coffee break. We are giving this dunya more than it deserves. Whether we like it or not – that’s the reality. We claim that we are giving akhirah what it deserves and giving dunya what it deserves. It is true that we ask Allah to give us good in this life and in the hereafter, but make a ratio and give each what it deserves!
