Don’t worry about pleasing people, worry about pleasing Allah.

Listen to this authentic hadith :

Aisha رضي الله عنها said that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah while people are displeased , Allah will suffice him against the people,
and whoever seeks the pleasure of people while displeasing Allah, Allah will leave him (to be in need) of the people.”

About this Imam Shafi said :
“Pleasing people is a goal that cannot be reached and i don’t have a way to be safe from them ,
Therefore you have to cling on to what will benefit you. (meaning pleasing Allah).

THIS IS THE DECREE OF ALLĀH!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"Strive for what will benefit you, and seek the help of Allāh, and do not be incapacitated. And if something afflicts you, do not say: 'If I had done such and such, such and such would have happened.' But say: "This is the decree of Allāh, He does what He wills. This is because 'if' opens the act of Shaytān.*

The end of Ramadan does not mean the end of our spiritual growth. Let us continue to read the Quran, perform acts of charity, and strive for self-improvement throughout the year. May Allah guide us all towards His mercy and forgiveness.

*Step-by-Step Walkthrough to pay Zakaat-ul-Fitr*

Step 1: Determine the number of people you are giving zakaat al-fitr on behalf of.

A man has a wife and four children, and his parents have asked him to give out zakaat al-fitr for them too. So he needs to give out 8 units, or saa’s, of food.

Step 2: Determine how much one saa’ (3 litres) of the selected food item is.

The man in our example decides to use barley. He can either:

(a) Measure out three litres of barley in a large measuring pitcher, if he doesn’t mind opening the container, and it will not be seen as unacceptable to the poor person.

(b) Measure out 750 ml of barley in a measuring cup. Weigh this amount. Multiply its weight by 4. This is one saa’ of that barley. Let’s say in this example 750ml of the selected barley weighed 400 grams. So 400g x 4 = 1.6kg. The weight of one saa’ of that specific kind of barley would be 1.6 kilograms.

Step 3: Multiply the measurement from step 2 by the number of people you are giving on behalf of (from step 1).

This is done one of two ways:

(a) 3 litres x 8 = 24 litres of barley as in this example (based on the original volume)

(b) 1.6kg x 8 = 12.8 kilograms in this example (converted to weight)

I hope this walkthrough is helpful.

Begin 'Eīd With Lowering The Gaze

Some of the companions of Sufyān ath-Thawrī said: "We went out with ath-Thawrī on the day of 'Eīd and he said: 'Verily, the first thing we will begin our day with is lowering the gaze."

‎● [التبصرة لابن الجوزي ص ٦١]

Ḥasān Ibn Abī Sinān went out for the 'Eīd and when he returned his wife said to him:

"How many beautiful women did you see today?"

And when she persisted he replied: "I did not look at anything except my thumb from the time I went out until I returned to you!

Don't Forget Allah After Ramadan
Allāh the lord of Ramadān is the Lord of All other months Fear Allāh even after Ramadān and guard your Deen!

It was said to Bishr al-Hāfī:

"There are some people who strive hard in Ramadān but when it ends, they stop." He replied: "How evil are these people! They only know the rights of Allah in Ramadān. Indeed the pious person is the one who worships and strives hard throughout the entire year."

The Prophet ﷺ said: "A group of people whose hearts will be like the hearts of birds, will enter Jannah".
‏قال رسول اللّٰه ﷺ "يدخُل الجنّة أقوامٌ أفئدتُهم مثل أفئدة الطير"💙
[Saheeh Muslim #2840]
Imam al-Nawawi, in his explanation of Saheeh Muslim, wrote the following concerning this hadeeth:
It is said: the likeness of them in tenderness and softness, like another hadeeth, “The people of Yemen are the most soft-hearted and the most tender-hearted“
And it is said: in fear and reverence. And birds are the most frightful and alarm-prone of animals, just as Allah said, “It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah” [35:28], as if the meaning was a people who were overcome by fear, as has been narrated about large numbers of the salaf concerning the severity of their fear.
And it is said: the meaning is al-mutawakkiloon (those who place their reliance and trust upon Allah). And Allah knows best

[Sharh al-Nawai ‘alaa Muslim #2840]
Remember the words of Ibn Rajab, ‘Dealing with people with kind words is perhaps more dear to them than offering them food and money.’
Have a nice Eid.

Fasting of six days in shawwal after Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah, let's look at the Hadith of the virtue of fasting in the six days of shawwal.
As reported in the Hadith,
Narrated Abu Ayyub:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone fasts during Ramadan, then follows it with six days in Shawwal, it will be like a perpetual fast.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2433.

Abu Ayub narrated that ::
the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan, then follows it with six from Shawwal, then that is (equal inreward) to fasting everyday."
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 759.

So after Ramadan, let's try and fasts these six days for more reward.

May Allah s.w.t guides and grants us the strength to make this fast. Amiin

Dawud said, "Be like a merciful father towards the orphan. Know that you will reap as you sow. How ugly poverty is after wealth! More than that:
how ugly is misguidance after guidance! When you make a promise to your friend, fulfil your promise. If you do not, it will bring about enmity between you and him. Seek refuge in Allah from a companion who, when you mention something to him, does not help you and who does not remind you when you forget." Al Adab Al Mufrad : 138

The entire month of Shawwal is a time for fasting the six days

Q: Is it permissible for a person to choose any six days to observe Sawm (Fasting) in Shawwal, or is there a fixed time for them? If we observe Sawm on them, will it become a Fard (obligation) on us?

A: It was authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Anyone who fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwal it is as if they fasted the whole year.” (Related by Imam Muslim in his Sahih [Authentic Hadith Book]) These days are not fixed in the month. A Mu’min (believer) can choose to observe them at any time throughout the month, whether in the beginning, middle, or end of the month, and whether on separate or consecutive days. There is flexibility in this matter, praise be to Allah. If a person observes them in the beginning of the month, it will be even better, as this is a form of hastening to do good deeds. It is not thus, considered a Fard; a person can leave them in any year.

However, it is better and more perfect to continue observing Sawm on these days every year, acting on the saying of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم): “The deed liked most by Allah is one to which the doer adheres constantly, even if it is small.” May Allah grant us success!

#Selfreminder How often we forget about the angels that rest on our shoulders and write, and write, and write!.😓

Allahummaghfirli...

Let us not fall into sinful ways. Just because Ramadan is over, does not mean the ibadah and good deeds we did during it should be over.

Talbeenah is a broth that is made from two spoonfuls of barley flour with bran, then a cup of water is added to that and it is cooked over a low fire for five minutes.

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she would order that talbeenah be made for the sick and the one who was mourning a death, and she used to say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Talbeenah soothes the heart of the sick and takes away some of the grief.”
