This post is a bit of a rant for someone who abuses their own health as a result of being rude and hiding behind their illness.
The majority of people are going through some tough times. At some point, we all had our share of difficulties. Whether it's financial , physical or mental. As Muslims, it's our responsibility to make sure that our community is taken care of. This doesn't apply just to Muslims, rather communities as a whole. It could be just a genuine gesture to help with the smallest of matters. A smile on the face of a brother is always appreciated. Helping someone carry shopping. Offering help wherever possible. This won't move mountains nor will it reduce their burden, but it will make them feel better part of a community, someone acknowledges them. Listening to others and sharing experiences might help someone grieve a loss. It will reduce their emotional strain. You just don't know what people are dealing with. Our job is not to probe or ridicule people but rather try to help them .
At the same time, this is not an excuse for accepting rude behaviour or negative comments from people that are going through something. We're all in the same boat. Please be mindful of what you're saying and how it's affecting others around you. You might deprive yourself of any opportunity of getting any sort of help.

Amir al-Mu'minin Umar عليه السلام saw a man talking to a woman on the side of the road. He immediately intervened and struck the man with his stick.
The man said: "O Amir al-Mu'minin (Commander of the Faithful), she is my wife!"

People sing and dance publicly in their marriage today while Islam prohibited it. And very few among our sisters are not involved in this.
Everything is not just going normal on this blue apps, just yesterday a brother pass a legless and wingles 'fatwa' that birthday celebration is halal and also trying to compare it with school graduation, what!, how are we going to defend this before Allah that we engaged in what we know nothing about. 🔥 The eventuality that we are not prepared for!
Did the Dunya (world) change? The Dunya is not changing; it is the people who are changing. The geographical landscape of the Earth is changing, but the Dunya is there where it is, under our feet, but its love is in our hearts. The Dunya is not changing, but indeed it is fleeting and will perish, and yet the people are chasing it.
Where is our humility and fear of Allaah? It is not the Dunya that has changed, it is We who have changed. For now, the Dunya remains as it is, but soon it will come to an end. It is our behavior and our hearts that are changing. If one of us were to return to his house, he will find dust on the Mus-haf (the Qur’aan). But none of us, including me, will find dust on our smartphones.
The standard of measurement has changed; the mentality of the people has changed; the behavior of the people has changed. Among us are those who backbite their brothers and sleep comfortably without seeking pardon from them. Among us are those who harm the reputation and honor of their companions or neighbors and go to bed as if nothing has ever happened. Among us are those who oppress others and take away their rights and behave as if nothing has changed.
It is a calamity that we see people dying all around us. We may see a person entering the hospital for some minor illness and leaving the hospital only to be buried in the graveyard. He enters the hospital only to return to the graveyard! This is how the Dunya (worldly life) is. Very soon the Dunya will perish and come to an end, but what matters most is what have you done for your Hereafter and what will happen to you after your death. Are we prepared to meet the Angel of Death when he will appear without a notice or warning? Are we prepared to stand in front of Allaah? Are we prepared to give account for our deeds in front of Allaah???

And let them be at rest (freed) from you!
And keep yourself busy (with what benefits your aakhirah)!
Leave them, and do not seek their praise and do not earn their reproaches (their dislike, disrespect of you).

BE A BENEFIT TO OTHERS
Benefit people in any way you can for His sake.

📌Evil around us comes in numerous shapes and forms. How you deal with this is the question.
👉Hijaab: you click your selfies and share them on your social media. Everyone who has any form of resentment can give you the evil eye. Your children get sick, your health is declining, your wealth is not increasing, and your study or education becomes too hard.
Your Imaan has depleted.
These are all signs that the evil eye has befallen you.
💡Solution: get rid of your pictures on social media, and cover yourself in front of people, men, and women. Be silent about your achievements, and share only with your close ones e.g. parents, husband, or children. Don't share your happiness with any random Randy!
👉Nonmahram men: we all get that friend request, the chat message, the slithery snake.
He comes with praises and promises. Is unemployed. and a selfish womanizer. Steals your heart and when he finds a new victim he ghosts you, leaving you with heartbreak.
💡Solution: cut the cancer before it spreads! Don't add men, don't entertain them in chats, don't respond or comment. Not everyone deserves a reply! Be selective and have the honor for yourself. If a man wants to wed you he will contact your wali!
📍Keep in mind not everyone is a friend, not every person is a believer, and not everyone fears Allah the way you do.
We all have our journey in Islam, some people are disciplined and others are extremely loose in their actions.
Be alert, be focussed and know your surroundings.
May Allah protect us all and guide us to the right path aameen🤲🏼

Look at the difference between the Creator & creation.
Allāh (swt) becomes angry when He is not asked, whilst man becomes annoyed when he’s constantly sought.
The Prophet (ص) said:
مَنْ لَمْ يَسْأَلِ اللَّهَ يَغْضَبْ عَلَيْهِ
“Whoever does not ask from Allāh, Allāh becomes angry with him” (Al-Tirmidhi).
Persistence in du’a is actually a noble trait & from good adab with Allāh.
Why? For two reasons:
1) Because you are displaying your neediness to Allāh, and this is a form of humility.
2) You are affirming that it is only Allāh who can fulfil your request. This is recognising Him as al-Razzaq & Al-Wahhaab, the sole Provider & Bestower.
Summary: Allāh loves to be asked, so continuously ask him.

STERN WARING AGAINST WAILING 🚫
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"There are four matters of the Jahiliyyah (pre-islamic period) among my Ummah that they will not abandon: Pride in one's nobility, slandering people's lineage, seeking rain by the stars, and wailing."
And he (ﷺ) said: "If the woman who wails does not repent before she dies, she will be raised on the Day of Resurrection wearing a garment of pitch and a chemise of scabs."
📚: Sahih Muslim 934 (2160)
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

Scholars having a big belly could be a sign of their hardwork sitting for long hours OR a sign of no study/research at all (rather being busy with food) .
In both cases it is blame worthy. 'Umar bin khattab r.a.a was strictly anti-obesity. He used to say to the people (regardless of them being scholars or layman)
" أيها الناس إياكم والبطنة من الطعام فإنها مكسلة عن الصلاة مفسدة للجسد مورثة للسقم وأن الله تبارك وتعالى يبغض الحبر السمين ولكن عليكم بالقصد في قوتكم فإنه أدنى من الأصلاح وأبعد من السرف، وأقوى على عبادة الله ، وإنه لن يهلك عبد حتى يؤثر شهوته على دينه "
" Oh people! Beware of developing a fat belly as a result of over eating because it makes you lazy in/for your prayers, its hurtful for your body, makes you unhealthy and Allah does not like the overweight...rather upon you is to be careful about your intake because that is more closer to righteousness and far from extravagance and makes you gain strength to worship Allah and a slave does not perish untill his desires get the better of him overcoming his commitment to the deen! "

ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb Raḍi-Allāhu ʿAnhu saw a man with a big belly so he asked him: “What is this??!!”, the man said: “Blessing from Allāh.”, he Raḍi-Allāhu ʿAnhu replied: “Rather a PUNISHMENT from Allāh.”

Salman reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
Verily, Allah created, on the same very day when He created the heavens and the earth, one hundred parts of mercy. Every part of mercy is coextensive with the space between the heavens. and the earth and He out of this mercy endowed one part to the earth and it is because of this that the mother shows affection to her child and even the beasts and birds show kindness to one another and when there would be the Day of Resurrection, Allah would make full (use of Mercy).[ Muslim 2753c]
Commentary: So if the single part sent down to the earth entails Islam; the prayer, the fasting, and the tranquility man feel in his heart among other things which are from the mercy of Allah the Mighty and Exalted, then how tremendous are the ninety-nine parts which he has kept back for the Hereafter, the everlasting abode?! The onus is upon us to show mercy to people so that
we receive from this abundant mercy in the Hereafter. [Al Adab al Mufrad compiled by Abu Nasir Ibrahim, Dakwah corner Publications, page 81]

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None of you should wish for death because of a calamity befalling him; but if he has to wish for death, he should say: "O Allah! Keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and let me die if death is better for me.' "
