The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever constantly seeks forgiveness (from Allāh) (saying "astaghfirullāh | أستغفر اللّٰه"), Allāh will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from from sources he does not expect." [Abū Dawūd]

Make it a constant habit to say Astaghfirullāh | أستغفر اللّٰه (I seek forgiveness from Allāh) with a sincere heart and you'll see the blessings and positive effects of that habit in your daily life. We have witnessed people being relieved from the darkest and most difficult of situations through this habit, others who were blessed with unimaginable wealth and blessings through this habit, and others whose hearts found contentment and true happiness through this habit.

May Allāh 'Azza Wa Jall make us of those who continuously seek His forgiveness and accept from us - āmeen

Watch and Correct Your Thoughts

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“The one who bears in mind the fact that Allāh is watching his thoughts and his heart, Allāh will protect him from falling short in what he does both in secret and openly.”

Umayr ibn Habeeb al-Khutami, رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ used to say:

“Ēmān increases and decreases.” It was asked: ‘What increases ēmān and what decreases ēmān?’ He replied: ‘If we remember Allāh, the Mighty the Majestic, Praise Him, and declare His Perfection; this is what increases ēmān. If we become heedless, negligent and forgetful; then this is what decreases ēmān.”

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR WORDS

"When you are angry, it is better to stay silent than to speak in times of anger, because when you speak you don’t know what comes out of your mouth. When you calm down, you will regret the hurtful words you uttered. You can no longer recover the pain you caused in his/her heart. That’s why the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: When you are angry, be silent.

The tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to break heart. And that’s why the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Most of your sins are because of your tongues."

Types of Fitan (calamities/affliction)
[Along with the advice by Shaikh Ibn al-Uthaymeen not to expose one self to them]

▶️ There are two types of Fitan which affect a person:

➡️ 1) Affliction in the self: (And this is from the worldly perspective). This includes loss in wealth, health, live, honor, hunger, fear or any other type of physical or psychological loss or affliction. As Allaah تعالى said:

{And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits…}
📚 [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 155]

۞۝۞

➡️ 2) Affliction in the Deen: (and this is from the perspective of the Hereafter). Affliction in the Deen is far worse than affliction in the self. As Allaah تعالى said:

﴿وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ﴾

{And Al-Fitnah (affliction in the Deen) is worse than killing}
📚 [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 191]

And

﴿وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ﴾

{...and Al-Fitnah is a greater (crime) than killing}
📚 [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 217]

This includes being afflicted by:
🚫 Shirk,
🚫 or Bidah,
🚫 or belittling the Sunnah or authentic Ahaadeeth,
🚫 or getting confused even after knowing the correct path,
🚫 or having doubts about the Deen,
🚫 or chasing the desires,
🚫 or giving preference to personal opinions over the Texts,
🚫 or laziness in religious duties,
🚫 or self-amazement,
🚫 or following the path of falsehood after being guided,
🚫 or swaying between groups and parties etc.

Part of this affliction also includes being prevented from carrying out the religious duties by the enemies, or persecution in the name of religion. As Allaah تعالى said:

﴿وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّـهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ﴾

{They (the enemies) had nothing against them (the believers), except that they believed in Allaah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise!}
📚 [Surah al-Burooj (85): 8]

Affliction in the Deen can lead to misguidance and eternal damnation. Moreover, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم frequently used to supplicate saying:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ القُلُوبِ، ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

❝O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.❞
📚 [Sunan al-Tirmidhee and Sunan Ibn Maajah, and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

🌴🌴🌴

Do not expose yourselves to Fitan:

Shaikh Ibn al-
Uthaymeen said:
❝We also learn from this Aayah that al-Fitnah - i.e. preventing the people from following their Deen (Islaam) - is a greater (crime) than killing them; because in their killing, the maximum they'll miss out on is this worldly life. But if they are prevented from (learning and having) Imaan then they will lose in this world and the Hereafter.

And many people approach the places of Fitan (e.g. a bad company, or an environment that would corrupt their religious beliefs and morals) and they think that this Fitnah will not affect (or harm) them. But if they continue like this, then it won't be long before they are overtaken by the Fitnah. This is why the Prophet ﷺ said: ❝Let him who hears of the Dajjaal (Antichrist) go far from him for I swear by Allaah that a man will come to him thinking that he (the Dajjaal) is a believer, then he will follow him because of the deceptive arguments he (the Dajjaal) will put forward (to confuse him).❞
📚 [Sunan Abu Dawood (4319) and graded as "Saheeh" by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

The important thing is that a person should not expose himself to Fitan. How many people approached the places of Fitan thinking that they were immune to it, but they were not!❞
📚 [Tafseer of Surah al-Baqarah by Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen (3/59-60)]

Much needed advice from Ibn Taymiyyah 👍

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"Many people, when they see evil or when the Muslim ummah goes through a lot of trouble, panic, lose hope and start complaining as people who are beset by calamities do. But this is forbidden; rather what is enjoined is to be patient, to put one’s trust in Allah, to be steadfast in adhering to the religion of Islam and to believe that Allah is with those who fear Him and those who do good, and that the best end is for those who fear Him; whatever befalls him is because of his sins, so he should be patient, for the promise of Allah is true; he should seek forgiveness for his sins and glorify and praise his Lord morning and evening."

Mu’adh Bin Jabal [رضي الله عنه] said:

❝O my son, when you pray, pray it as a farewell prayer, do not think that you will be able to return to it ever. Know O my son that the believer dies between two good matters:

goodness that he sent forth [by praying that prayer] and goodness that he delayed [by wanting to pray the next prayer].❞

Be firm in your du’aa’ and dont say In sha Allah after making dua.

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported Allaah’s Messenger (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) as saying: ”When one of you makes a supplication (to his Lord) one should not say: O Allaah, grant me pardon, if You want to, but one should beg one’s (Lord) with a will and full devotion, for there is nothing so great in the eye of Allaah which He cannot grant.”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 35; 6478]

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported Allaah’s Messenger (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) as saying: “None of you should say to Allaah (like this): ‘O Allaah, grant me mercy, if You want to’. The supplication (of his) should (be filled with) conviction (that it would be accepted by the Lord), for Allaah is the Doer of (everything) He likes to do, and there is none to force Him (to do or not to do this or that).”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 35; 6479]

The Dunyā will come to you while it is humbled - وهي راغمةٌ

The Messenger ﷺ said [see comments for sources]: "Whoever is focused only on this world, Allāh will confound his affairs and make him fear poverty constantly, and he will not get anything of this world except that which has been decreed for him. Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allāh will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lot, and his provision and worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him."

*The fact that U're struggling doesn't make u a burden. It doesn't make u unloveable/ undesirable/underserving of care. It doesn't make u too much or too sensitive/too needy. It makes u human. Every1 struggles.*

*Every 1 has a difficult time coping,&at times, V all fall apart. During these times,V aren't always easy to be around & that's okay. No 1 is easy to be around 100% of the time.Yes, U may sometimes be unpleasant or difficult. &yes,u may sometimes do or say things that make the people around u feel helpless or sad. But those things aren't all of who ur & they certainly don't discount ur worth as a human being.*

The truth is that u can be struggling & still be loved. U can be difficult & still be cared for.U can be less than perfect, & still be deserving of compassion & kindness.

Things to remember:

➡️ The purpose of our Ibaadah should be to please Allaah and to flee from His punishment, and not for seeking some worldly benefits.

➡️ The purpose of seeking knowledge should be to remove our ignorance, and not for seeking followers and fame.

➡️ The purpose on enjoining good and forbidding evil should be to call people towards the Deen of Allaah, and not towards individuals and groups.

➡️ The purpose of Salafiyyah is to follow the Truth, i.e. the Qur'aan and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf, and not to leave room for personal interpretation as per one's desires.

➡️ The purpose of patience is to be steadfast upon these principles and not to sway in our beliefs, Manhaj, mu
aamalaat (dealing with people), and most importantly in dealing with ourselves irrespective of what the people say about us. But be ready to correct ourselves when a mistake is pointed out.

📗 {O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islaam), Allaah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allaah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allaah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allaah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower.} [Surah al-Maa'idah (5): 54]

🚫 And don't be like those who always see the mistakes of others, but when their own mistake is pointed out, they cry saying: 'you are attacking the Salafees, and the "known" students of knowledge.'

🚫 It is amazing to see how easy it is to drop the scholars and still your Salafiyyah is intact, but not a word can be said about the students or you will be warned against as a person who attacks the Salafees.

Beautiful advice of Shaykh @AbooSuhailah Umar Quinn after the #moroccoearthquake

📌Allāh does what He wills and He controls all benefit and all harm

📌Allāh averts from His creation what He wills from punishment

📌It is a sign of a dead and sick heart that you see the destruction in the like of these #earthquakes in #Morocco and it does not stir something in your heart and you don’t imagine that it could happen to you, then you have deceived yourself and tricked and fooled yourself and if the punishment of Allāh descends upon us in this life and we are caught unaware then we have no one to blame but ourselves!

🤲🏼May Allāh aid and protect the Muslims in #Morocco and all the world!
May Allāh protect us from the punishment of Allāh in this life and the next

BE EXTREMELY LOWKEY!

definitely, a private life is a happy life. when you have something you want to stay longer with you, keep it quiet for people ruin good things they know.

may it a career.
may it a child.
a blessing of success.
a promotion.
and a bliss of marriage.

it is enough for us that they know we live in a healthy, blissful life but it is very wrong to announce it publicly and letting people know much your life! BRAGGING WHAT YOU HAVE WOULD NEVER BE A REASON OF GAINING MUCH!

in fact, when we proclaim the blessings that Allaah has bestowed upon us, He's happy with it.

but the point here is, UNVEILING MUCH of your blessings is welcoming a dangers in your fort. when you want peace, harmonious life, and silence in living—BE PROTECTIVE AND MORE CAUTIOUS OF WHAT YOU HAVE for evil eye is real. envious hearts exist. and needy people were more like to be sadden seeing you having that things.

keypoint:
a safe place is a place where eyes don't get to see often.
