*Dealing with Your Brothers’ Shortcomings*
When your companion becomes angry and says something that is unwarranted, you should not take it too hard.
His situation is that of a drunken person who is not aware of what is taking place.
Instead, be patient, even if it means only for a little while. If you reciprocate his words with harsh words of your own, you become like the sane person who seeks revenge on a madman, or the conscious person who seeks retribution from an unconscious one.
(Instead) look at him with a merciful eye and pity him for his actions.
[Ibn al-Jawzi (Rahimahullah), Sayd al-Khaatir, Page 406]

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Teach, and make things easy, and don’t make things difficult, and remain silent when angry, and remain silent when angry, and remain silent when angry”
Musnad Ahmad: 2556 (Authentic Hadith).
Explanation of the Hadith:
“Teach” - teach people from the good and beneficial knowledge you have.
“Make things easy and don’t make things difficult” - make things easy upon yourself, by doing that which you’re capable of, concerning matters of worship and matters of life, while making sure you give each family member their right.
“And remain silent when angry” - He ﷺ repeated it 3 times, emphasising how dangerous speech during anger could be, since it’s most likely that people will say something regrettable, such as swearing and curse, and all this displeases Allah ﷻ.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Hunger
'A'isha (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: 'A'isha (RA) a family which has no dates (in their house) its members will be hungry; (or) 'A'isha (RA) the family which has no dates its members may be hungry. He said this twice or thrice.
(Sahih Muslim 2046b, Book 36, Hadith 211)
Dates are nutritiously dense and provide so much energy. When fasting, the satisfaction of biting into a sweet date is rewarding and refreshing.

ibn ‘Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said:
"There are three types of young people. The upright, the corrupt, and the confused.
The Upright young people are believers in every sense of the word. They believe in their religion in such a way that they love it and are convinced by and content with it. They regard embracing it as profit and denial of it as clear loss.
The Corrupt young people are religiously deviating, behaviorally reckless, self-deluded, and engulfed by their own vices. They do not accept truth from others, do not refrain from falsehood that is inherent in their minds, and are selfish in their conduct.
The Confused young people are the ones who are uncertain, irresolute, and at a crossroad. They know the truth and are sure of it. They live in a religiously conservative society but have the misfortune of being exposed to evil channels from every direction. They are exposed to evils like skepticism about the truthfulness of the Muslim creed, corruption in conduct and behavior decadence in actions, attack on the established-customs and traditions."

When going through hardships and a tough time remember the story of Hajar عليه السلام, wife of prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام abul ambiya "The Father of Prophets". Her husband was a prophet and she gave birth to a prophet Ismael عليه السلام.
Her struggle, her taqwa requires constant and sincere reflection.
Lesson one from the story of Hajar عليه السلام is Taqwa.
Imagine standing all alone in a desert with a new born baby in your arms and you have ran out of food and water, all you see is sand as far as your eyes can see.
Visualize that and imagine how scared would you be.
YOU WILL FEEL HOPELESS, WORRIED AND ANXIOUS.
That is how our mother Hajar felt.
Although, regardless of who left her there and why, Hajar knew that Rizq is from Allah, and that Allah would never forsake or abandon her.
That's the message I take from it. That as an amatullah I know for a fact that Allah will never forsake or abandon me as long as I take action and put my trust in Him.
The character of Hajar is what we should aspire to. Her sense of faith and reliance on Allah and her perseverance in what seemed an utterly hopeless situation is the lesson.
She raised her son Ismael عليه السلام, alone in the desert, without any family around and in such a way that Ismael was still obedient to the very father who left him in the desert.
Did she or Ismael throw a fit when Ibrahim عليه السلام showed up years later and said Allah wants me to slaughter you son?
No.
Hajar عليه السلام trusted that Allah would provide, and she sought out that provision.
Today as a result of that call to Allah, billions of Muslims from around the world and across generations commemorate her sunnah of running from safa to marwah while performing Umrah and Allah gave this Ummah the well of zam-zam because of her tawakkul and taqwa in Allah.
These two blessings showcase how immense her tawakkul and yaqeen in her rabb was. Her tawakkul in Allah was so strong that Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه comments on the blessing of zamzam and says "𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐰 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐚’𝐞𝐞𝐥'𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫! 𝐇𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐳𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐳𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡."
✦ 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐥 is the reason we have Zamzam.
✦ 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐥 is the reason the dates fell from the tree to feed Maryam عليه السلام during her labour pains, because a pregnant woman in pain cannot shake a tree.
✦ 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐥 is the reason striking the staff split the sea for Musa عليه السلام.
Let's remember she is our mother. Her example is the best example to emulate. Her trials elevated her. During her lowest points she had the highest level of eeman and faith.
When things get tough, we need to stop whining. Instead focus on duas, ask Allah that he gives you tawfeeq, sabr and tawakkul that is unmatched and doesn't waver.
The second lesson is about being okay with not witnessing your true legacy in this temporary lifetime. So, what do I mean by that? When we talk about legacy, did Hajar عليه السلام witness her entire legacy in her lifetime?
𝐍𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐓.
Hajar عليه السلام had zero idea that billions of Muslims across generations would commemorate her sunnah while performing umrah.
Similarly, don’t worry if your legacy is not visible in a few years or even in your lifetime. If you are sincere and you do good deeds for the sake of Allah alone, Allah will bless you with a good legacy and inshaAllah the fruition, result and reward will be visible be on the day of judgement.
Some legacies are visible in our lifetime and some will inshaAllah be visible on the day of judgment.

From the consequences of Bid'ah:
قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : (ما أحدث قوم بدعة إلا رُفع من السنة مثلها ) رواه أحمد (16522) . وقال الحافظ في "الفتح" (13/253) : إسناده جيد .
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)said: “No people introduce a bid’ah but something equivalent will be taken away from the Sunnah.” Narrated by Ahmad (16522). Al-Haafiz said in al-Fath (13/253): Its isnaad is good.
Al-Awza’i reported: Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “People do not introduce an innovation in their religion but that Allah will take away a Sunnah like it. Then, it will not return to them until the Day of Resurrection.”

Riba impacts the entire economy, and everyone feels the impact - Muslim or non-Muslim. The harms of Riba and exploitative wealth practices are not a ritual or simply a form of worship in Shariah, it is very much based on economic logic, reality, and should be a concern for everyone. The Shariah guidance for economic affairs can be (and should be) adopted by everyone, irrespective of faith, as these guidelines are truly empowering for the economy.
Riba is defined as “a stipulated and unjustified gain for one of the transacting parties.” This is a legal definition of Riba. However, Riba actually manifests in multiple ways, notably in human behaviour. Riba has a psyche that infects humans. Riba is a virus that alters the mind, heart, body and soul. It changes worldviews, strategies, visions, and the way of business.
10 detrimental impacts of Riba 👇
💰 Income Inequality: Riba can exacerbate the wealth gap, as those with financial assets can earn more without any productive effort. On the flip side, those without such assets may find themselves burdened with crippling debt.
📈 Unsustainable Debt Levels: High interest rates can lead to unmanageable levels of debt for borrowers, often trapping them in a vicious cycle of borrowing to pay off previous loans.
🛒 Reduced Consumer Spending: When individuals are laden with high-interest payments, their disposable income shrinks, limiting their spending on goods and services. This can result in slowed economic growth.
🤝 Impaired Social Welfare: The widening gap between the wealthy, who accumulate more through interest, and the impoverished, who are entrapped by debt, can damage the social fabric, leading to increased poverty and reduced social mobility.
⚠️ Promotes Financial Instability: The emphasis on earning money through money, rather than productive ventures, can create economic bubbles and contribute to financial crises.
🚀 Decreased Business Investments: Entrepreneurs may not be creditworthy or may be forced to take interest-based loans with high rates, thus stifling innovation and expansion.
⏳ Short-term Focus: The practice of Riba encourages a short-term view, favoring quick returns through high-interest rates over long-term, sustainable growth.
🌏 Reduced Economic Autonomy: Countries with high levels of interest-based debt may find their economic autonomy compromised, as they become increasingly beholden to creditors. This often results in unfavourable economic policies to meet debt obligations.
🔄 Inefficient Resource Allocation: Riba causes money to flow into sectors with high interest rates, rather than those that are most in need or productive, leading to inefficient resource use.
🚫 Moral and Ethical Degradation: The practice can encourage unethical behaviour, such as predatory lending, exploiting the economic vulnerabilities of others.

LIKE AN ANIMAL STRUCK BY CALAMITY..
Khalaf ibn Ismā'il said:
'It was mentioned to me by a person of sound intellect named Abū Maymūn: 'O Abū Ismā'il, know there are conditions for patience.'
I asked what they were.
He replied: 'One of the conditions of patience is that you know how to be patient, for whom are you patient, what you want with your patience. You will thus, be counted among them provided you have good intent. Perhaps your patience will be a means of purification for you, otherwise you are like an animal that was struck by calamity and was disturbed by it.."

Saying "let people do what they want" upon seeing someone doing a Bid'ah is an assist in misguidance and is against the principles of 'forbidding the evil'.
You should realise that fighting against bid'ah is actually defending the Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ.

A Good Ending
حُسن الخاتمة
Translated by
Abbas Abu Yahya
Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen said:
‘The goal of having a good ending is not that you die whilst you are in the masjid, or while you are upon a prayer mat, or you die with a Qur’aan in your hands.
Indeed the best of all creation died while he was on his bed.
His friend as-Siddiq Abu Bakr died while on his bed, and he was the best of the Companions.
Khalid bin Waleed died while he was on his bed, and he was given the noscript the unsheathed sword of Allaah, who plunged into a hundred battles and did not lose in any of them.
However, a good ending is:
• that you die and are far away from Shirk.
• that you die and are far away from Nifaq (hypocrisy).
• that you die and you are separate from the people of Bida and far away from Bida.
• that you die and you are upon the Book, the Sunnah and believe in that which is brought in them without twisting their meanings.
• that you die and you are relieved of the burden of spilling the blood of the Muslims, their wealth and their honour. That you fulfill the right of Allaah upon you and the right of Allaah’s worshippers upon you.
• that you die and your heart is secure with pure intentions and good manners; and does not have hatred, envy, nor spite for a Muslim.
• That you pray your five prayers on their times in Jama’ah (Congregation) for the one who has to pray in congregation. Also to fulfill what Allaah has obligated upon you.
O Allaah make all our final matters good. Save us from disgrace in the Duniya and the punishment of the Hereafter.
O Allaah make our final end good and return us to you in a beautiful way not disgraced and exposed.’

Many people don’t understand the concept of “success”
they think the more money you stockpile, the greater your success.
But people on their deathbeds never wish for more money or a greater status in the dunya [world].
Rather, they wish for more TIME in order to worship Allaah better and meet Him with certainty and faith pouring from their hearts.
Take advantage of every precious moment you have.
Let Allaah’s remembrance always be on your lips, and always ask Him to help you fully rely on Him and His guidance to lead you to a better hereafter In-sha'-Allaah.

Show-off on social media:
In this age of materialism and social media, people tend to share the good things they have, i.e., beauty, house, job, children, food, clothes, cars, etc.
This is natural, and this is often done with good intentions, but it has some unintended negative consequences:
Some people will feel bad, wishing they could have the same, others may get jealous and the evil eye could hit.
For these reasons, even if these things are not shared with the intention of show-off, we should try to minimize this as much as possible, remain low-key, to avoid putting other people in fitnah, and to safeguard our blessings.
There is also a concept called 'كفر نعمة', [ungratefulness for the blessings of God], and this usually happens, when we see someone that has more worldly blessings than us.
According to some scholars, this was the reason why the queen ant told her colony to enter their dwellings when Sulayman and his army were marching.
Imam Fakhr al-Razi writes:

If sometimes we do see the blessings God has bestowed upon others, and these ill feelings do arise within ourselves, we should remember that God said:
نحن قسمنا بینهم معیشتهم فی الحیاة الدّنیا!
'𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗘, 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.' [Qur'an 43:32].
It is the Will and Decree of God, He tests some with poverty, and others with wealth.
