Muhammad ibn Yūsuf رحمه الله said:

“Sufyān ath-Thawri رحمه الله would make us stand up to pray at night, and he would say:

‘Stand up, O’ young people, [continue to] pray throughout the years of your youth.’”

Al-Jarh wa-Ta’deel ibn Abi Hātim ar-Rāzi 1/96

TN: The meaning of the above statement is so the youth will become accustom to worshipping Allāh in their old age. As AbdAllāh ibn Mas’ūd رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ said: ‘Train yourself upon goodness, for verily goodness is only in that which is habitual.’ [Musannaf ibn Abi Shaybah]

#The_love_of_women #The_comfort_of_eye_is_Salah

About a people, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "My beloved in this world are women and the kind, and make me the apple of my eyes in prayer."

[Feminine Sunna 3939, Al-Zahabi said his support is strong in the balance of balance 2/177, Albany said is Hassan Sahih in the Feminine Sahih 3949, Hassan Ibn Hijr Al-Asqlani in Abbreviated Abbreviation 3/1118]

Narrated that Anas (may Allāh be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allāh said, “In this world, women and perfume have been made dear to me, and the comfort of my eye has been placed in prayer.”

[Sunan an-Nasā'i 3939, Adh-Dhahabī said it's isnād (chain) is strong in Mizān al-‘Itidāl 2/177, Al-Albāni said it is hasan sahīh in Sahīh an-Nasā'i 3939, and Ibn Hajr al-Asqalānī graded it hasan in At-talkhīs al-Habīr 3/1118]
YOUR WEALTH HAS A PORTION OF EVIL IN IT.

A benefit from tonight's lesson by Sh. Muhammad Bazmul حفظه الله, the official entrusted Mufti of Makkah.

Explanation of Sunan Ibn Majah, the Book of Zakah.📙

The Shaykh quoted a narration in which the Prophet ﷺ said,

إذا أديت زكاة مالك فقد أذهبت عنك شره

"Whenever you give the Zakah of your wealth, you have removed yourself from its evil".

at-Targhib wa at-Tarheeb by al-Mundhiry (1077), graded Hasan li-Ghayrihi by Al-Albaani (743) رحمهم الله 📙

The Shaykh حفظه الله commented:

• Meaning: wealth contains harm and evil, and you can remove this harm/evil from your wealth by giving Zakah (or charity).

Make this a general principle: any wealth you have that you want your Lord to bless it for you, increase it for you, remove its evil from you, and purify it for you, then frequently give a portion in charity.

How many brothers informed us that they started a project when their capital was small, and they would give in charity daily 1-2-3 riyals -whatever was made easy- they gave it in charity.

They said, by Allah no period passed by except that our Lord blessed our business and our wealth. Our profits would reach us from every direction and place...

Therefore, you remove the evil from your wealth through charity. Give in charity. Take a portion from your wealth and give in charity, my Lord will place barakah in it.

🎉 *"New Years” The Festival Of Disbelievers Not Muslims.*🎊

Allāh says in Qur'ān:

{والذين لا يشهدون الزور}

*“And those who do not witness falsehood..”* • [al-Qur'ān 25:72]

Mujāhid and other than him from the Salaf said that falsehood (Zoor) refers to the festivals of disbelievers.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: *“Whoever imitates a nation then he is from amongst them.”*
● [رواه أبو داود]

قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه : اجتنبوا أعداء الله في عيدهم.

‘Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه said: *“Avoid the enemies of Allāh during their festivals.”* and in one narration with addition *“.. for the Wrath of Allāh descends upon them during it.”*

‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr رضي الله عنه said: *“Whoever settles in the land of the non-Arabs and celebrates their new year and festival and imitates them until he dies while he is in that state, will be gathered with them on the Day of Resurrection.”*
● [أخرجه البيهقي في الكبرى]

New Year's Day January 1st marked the Feast of the Naming and Circumcision of Jesus, thus celebrating New Year's Eve, yes, in relation with the birth of the Messiah; this is rejoicing with their religious rites and practices. And rejoicing with kufr practices, if the person who is pleased with this is safe from disbelief then it is as ibn Al Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him said in his book, ‘the ruling on the dhimmi’ it is more severe than being pleased with drinking alcohol and worshiping the cross.

• It is a sign of Imaan (Faith) that a person fights against Bidaat and that which corrupts the Deen.

• Do not be baffled by the large number of people doing innovations in the Deen.

۝۝۝

👉It is narrated on the authority
Abdullaah Ibn Masood that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

۞ 1) ❝There was never a Prophet sent before me by Allaah to his people but he had, among his people, (his) disciples and companions, who followed his ways and obeyed his command.

۞ 2) Then there came after them their successors who said whatever they did not practice, and practiced whatever they were not commanded to do.

۞ 3) He who strove against them with his hand was a believer: he who strove against them with his tongue was a believer, and he who strove against them with his heart was a believer and beyond that there is no faith even to the extent of a mustard seed.❞

📚[Saheeh Muslim (81, 82)]

۝۝۝

🎓Shaikh Ibn al-
Uthaymeen رحنه الله commented:

Some of the benefits from this Hadeeth are as follows:

۞ 1) Every Prophet which was sent to his people, before the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم, had from his people who were his disciples and companions, who would follow the Sunnah of that Prophet and implement his command.

۞ 2) And every time the era of Prophethood (the Prophet and his disciples) passed away, Bidah (religious innovations) emerged, and sins increased, as the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ❝Then there came after them their successors who said whatever they did not practice, and practiced whatever they were not commanded to do.❞

۞ 3) It is a sign of faith that a person strives against these Bid
aat and corruption with his hands or his tongue or his heart.

۞ 4) And from this Hadeeth we also learn that Imaan increases and decreases, till it reaches the size of a mustard seed. A mustard seed is really small and it is used as an example to describe the smallness of a thing.

Deep...

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:

“When you are involved in evil you are faster than a speedy stallion, but when it is concerning good and charitable deeds, you are slower than a cripple…

Paying alms is heavier on you than the mountain of Uhud, and praying is as heavy as a boulder laid on your chest… You have wasted time more precious than jewels.

If you catch sight of a sin you leap upon it like a tiger, but if you catch a glimpse of a good deed you dodge and evade it like a fox.”

You can take off your Hijaab, you can shave off your beard, you can walk, talk, eat, dance, and act like the Kuffaar, but for all your attemps to gain acceptance from them, they will never accept you till you abandon your religion. So who are you really fooling?

And the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Ahead of you there lie days of patience, during which being patient will be like grasping a hot coal. The one who does good deeds then will have a reward like that of fifty men who do such deeds. – And someone else added – They said: O Messenger of Allah, the reward of fifty of them? He said: “The reward of fifty of you.”

📖 Narrated by Abu Dawood (4341); al-Tirmidhi (3085) and he said: it is a hasan hadith. Similar Hadith is found in Sunan ibn Majāh 4014. It was classed as saheeh by al-Albānī رحمه الله in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (494).

In some reports of the hadith it says: “They are the ones who will revive my Sunnah and teach it to the people.”

Author's Note: Adhering to the Sunnah means several things:

1-Doing obligatory duties and avoiding haraam things.

2-Avoiding innovations in actions and beliefs.

3-Striving to do Sunnah and mustahabb deeds as much as one is able.

4-Calling people to goodness and trying to reform them as much as possible.

One should try to adhere to Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ especially in times of tribulations so that one can receive a reward of 50 men like that! And as per the Hadith- " The one who guides someone to good deeds will have a reward similar to the one performing it. Never leave a chance to revive Prophet ﷺ Sunnah

Imam Al Shafi’ee said, “Journey to Allah limping and broken and don’t wait for wellness, because waiting for wellness is inability.” What is the meaning of journey to Allah broken?

It means, for example, that you get up to pray but your prayer is still without focus, you recite the Quran but it is a broken recitation far from perfection…

Don’t worry, continue and seek out who will teach you to recite.
You begin to live your life in a way that is pleasing to Allah but at times your soul and desires overpower you…

Continue journeying to Allah and don’t delay. Don’t wait for the right moment to turn towards Allah. The moment your heart is inclined to Allah then go to Him Immediately.

Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “A person will continue to struggle with obedience until it becomes beloved to them. And so Allah will send angels that will inspire them and push them.

They will awaken him from his sleep for it, and from his gatherings for it. Allah said, “And those who strive in our path, we will certainly guide them to our path.” Strive. Try. Endure. Persevere. And ask Allah.

However much a person comes closer to Allah they are gifted to experience a sweetness that they taste in their wakefulness, in their sleep and in their food. Until they experience what Allah has promised, “We will give them a beautiful life.” Oh Allah grant us the sweetness of Imaan. Ameen 🤲🏼

Ibraahiim bin Amr As-San'aani رحمه الله narrated:

❝Allah عز وجل revealed to Yuusha'a bin Nuun: 'Verily, I will destroy from your people forty thousand from the good ones, and sixty thousand from the bad ones.' He (Yuusha'a) said: 'My Lord, these are the bad ones, but what about the good ones?' Protection from Envy

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“A protection from envy is giving charity and goodness as much as you are able. This has an amazing effect on repelling calamities, the evil eye, and the evil of envy. If there were nothing other than the experiences of the nations of old to prove this, it would be sufficient.

The evil eye and envy are not close to harming the one who gives charity and does good towards the creation; and if it befalls him, it is easy, and his ending is praiseworthy. This is because his thankfulness (to Allah) is a protection for his blessings.

The envier's heart will not cool until the envied loses their blessing, and the slave does not protect his blessing with anything better than thankfulness. In contrast, nothing exposes the blessing to becoming lost like ungratefulness.”

[One Hundred Pieces of Advice | Pg. 56]

Be thankful and grateful to Allah!

Ibnul-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah رحمه الله said

There are two kinds of meeting between friends:

The First is a meeting based on sociability and spending time, in which are more disadvantages than advantage, the least of which is corruption of the heart, and wasting time.

The Second kind is a meeting for the sake of supporting one another, and recommending one another to the truth and to patience. This is the best kind, yet there are still three disadvantages therein,

1. Flattering each other.
2. Being excessively talkative.
3. That such meetings become a habit or routine and they fail to achieve their aims.

“And there is a barrier between them and what they desire” of desires and pleasures, children, wealth, servants, and soldiers.
