It's the third of the night up until Fajr. Pray and/or make dua.
Allaah descends to the lowest heaven and it's one of the best times for our supplications to be answered
Abu Ayyub reported: The Messenger of Allāh, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“The witr prayer is a duty upon every Muslim. Whoever likes to pray it with five cycles, let him do so. Whoever likes to pray it with three cycles, let him do so. Whoever likes to pray it with one cycle, let him do so.”

*HOW OUR SALAF ENTERED THE MONTH OF SHA'BAN.*
Imam Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said: "... and since Sha'ban was like a prelude to Ramadan, what was legislated in it was that which was legislated in Ramadan from fasting and reciting Qur'an as a form of preparation to meet Ramadan and training of the nafs by these means to obey ar-Rahman. [Lata'aif al-Ma'arif]
Salamah ibn Suhayl رحمه الله used to say: "The month of Sha'ban is the month of reciters (of the Qur'an)."
Habib ibn Abi Thabit رحمه الله used to say, when Sha'ban came, "This is the month of reciters (of the Qur'an)." When Sha'ban came, 'Amr ibn Qays al-Mala'i رحمه الله used to close his store and devote his time to reading the Qur'an.
Some of the salaf gave their zakat in Sha'ban instead of Ramadan as they wanted to clear any dues and obligations and enter Ramadan free of everything. It was an added form of generosity and dedication to Allah, such that now, any offering given in Ramadan is on top of the basic zakat. This also helps the poor and needy to prepare and worship in Ramadan without having to worry about financial burdens.
This is a month of reflection and preparation. The salaf would start preparing for Ramadan months before in advance. We need to train ourselves, fix our sleeping patterns, sort our schedules, and take care of all tasks that would hinder us from making the most out of Ramadan.
May Allah grant us the opportunity to reach Shaban, enable us to do much, and guide us to reach the blessed month of Ramadan Aa'meen.

🕋🕋 CELEBRATION MI’RAAJ CEST ENE BID’AH:
🚫Celebrating Shab e Meraj : BID’AH in Deen Al- Islam.
There is No authentic hadith which states that the night of Isra wa al-Miraaj (the Prophet’s night journey and Ascension to the heavens) took place on the 27th of Rajab.
▪️ Ibn Hajr (رحمة الله) said:
"Some story tellers have said that the night of miraaj took place in the month of Rajab, this is false!"
📚: Tabeen Al-Ajab, pg 6
▪️ Allama Ibn Rajab (رحمة الله) said:
"The narrations on the night of Isra wa al Miraaj from Qasim bin Muhammad are not authentic which state that Prophet (ﷺ) had the night of Miraaj on 27th Rajab. Ibrahim Harbi and others have rejected this statement."
📚: Zaad Al Maad of Ibn Al Qayyim 275/2
▪️ Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمة الله) narrated that Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمة الله) said:
"..and there has not been transmitted a single proof that is known that mentions which month or which ten day period or which exact night it was in. Rather, the narrations concerning this are contradictory and weak, and there is nothing from them that incisive. Hence it is not legislated for the Muslims to single out any night based on an assumption that it is the night of Isrā' with salah or other than that."
📚: Zaad al Maad 1/58
▪️ Hafiz Ibn Hajr (رحمة الله) has mentioned in Fathul Bari Volume 7, pg 242-243, about this dispute on the date of Miraaj in detail. He has listed all the opinions including Rajab and has explained in the end that the correct view is that which is of Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمة الله) in this issue which states:
"There is no authentic narration on the month and date of the night of Miraaj, there are only Munqata (interrupted) chains on this matter and they cannot be taken as evidence."
📚: Lataif Al Maroof of Ibn Rajab, pg, 233
When there is no authentic hadith which tells us about the month of this event then how can we get the authentic hadith on the date?
Everything that has been narrated concerning a specific date for these events cannot be proven to have come from the Prophet (ﷺ) according to the scholars of hadith. Allah has wise reasons for causing the people to forget it. Even if the date were proven, it would not be permissible for the Muslims to single it out for particular acts of worship, and it is not permissible for them to celebrate it, because the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions (رضى الله عنهم) did not celebrate it and they did not single it out in any way. If celebrating it was something that is prescribed in Islam, the Messenger (ﷺ) would have told his ummah about that, either in word or in deed. If any such thing had happened, it would have been well known, and his companions would have transmitted the information to us. If venerating and celebrating this night were part of the religion of Allah, then the Prophet (ﷺ) would have done that and would not have concealed it. Since no such thing happened, it is known that celebrating it and venerating it is not part of Islam at all.

In the jungle,
The biggest animal is the Elephant,
The tallest is the Giraffe,
The wisest is the Fox,
The fastest is the Cheetah.
But besides all those wonderful qualities the Lion is the KING of the jungle even without ANY of them.!!
Why??
Because...
The Lion is courageous,
The Lion is very bold,
The Lion is always ready to face any challenges and barriers that cross its path,
no matter how big/bad they are.!!
The Lion walks with confidence. The Lion dares anything and is never afraid. The Lion believes he is unstoppable. The Lion is a risk taker. The Lion believes any animal is food for it. The Lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a try and never lets it slip from
its hands. The Lion has charisma.!!
So...
- What is it that we get to learn from the Lion ??
• You don't need to be the fastest!
• You don't need to be the wisest!
• You don't need to be the smartest!
• You don't need to be the most brilliant!
• You don't need to be generally accepted to achieve your dreams and be great in life.!!
• All you need is COURAGE
• All you need is BOLDNESS
• All you need is the WILL to try.
• All you need is the FAITH to believe it is possible.
• All you need is to believe in yourself, that YOU CAN do it.!!
It's TIME to bring out the Lion in you..!!
"As you go through jungle of Life
Face the terrible,
FACE IT CONFIDENTLY!"

Obstacles that stand in the way of a response:
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“From the obstacles that prevent the effect of a supplication taking place is the hastiness of the supplicant and his view that the response is long overdue.
Thus, he despairs and quits any further supplication. He is equivalent to the one who sows a seed or plants some vegetation before taking care of it and watering it; however, when he deems the complete fruition and fullness to be overdue, he discards it and disregards it!.”

••● Trust in Allah But Tie Your Camel ●••
One day Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) noticed a Bedouin leaving his camel without tying it.
He asked the Bedouin, “Why don’t you tie down your camel?” The Bedouin answered, “I placed my trust in Allah.”
At that, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Tie your camel and place your trust in Allah” (Tirmidhi)
The lesson from this hadith is that we need to use all resources available to us to solve our problems, and then trust Allah for the outcome as "Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." (Qur'an 13.11)
