Anyone who gives up something for Allah’s sake will be given something better in its place
Imam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated:
This affair is found in many places in the Qur’an. Allah mentioned it in relation to the first immigrants who left their homes, wealth, and loved ones behind for the sake of Allah, therefore Allah substituted that for them with increased provision, honour, and authority in the worldly life.
When Ibraaheem [peace be upon him] disassociated himself from his people, his father, and that which they worshipped other than Allah [i.e. departed after his father threatened to stone him], Allah bestowed on him Ishaaq, Yaqub, and righteous offspring.
When Sulaymaan [peace be upon him] was diverted from remembering Allah by his horses, he got rid of them, therefore Allah substituted them.
So, We subjected to him the wind; it blew gently by his order whithersoever he willed. And also the Shayaateen (devils) from the jinn (including) every kind of builder and diver.
[Surah Saad. Ayaat 36-37]
When the people of the cave [i.e. the young men mentioned in Surah Al-kahf] separated themselves from their people and what they worshipped other than Allah, Allah bestowed His Mercy on them, facilitated means of success and tranquillity for them, and made them a guide for the misguided.
And (regarding) Maryam [peace be upon her] Allah said:
وَٱلَّتِىٓ أَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَهَا فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهَا وَٱبۡنَهَآ ءَايَةً۬ لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ
And she who guarded her chastity (virgin Maryam), We breathed into (the sleeves of) her (shirt or garment) (through our Ruh Jibraa-eel), and We made her and her son (Eesaa) a sign for the Aalameen (mankind and jinn)].
[Surah Al-Anbiya. Ayah 91]
Whoever gives up what their Nafs call them to – the vain desires, Allah will replace it for them with His love, their repentance to Him, and what is better from that which is gathered for them of the pleasures of this life.
[(1)] [End of quote]
Indeed, when considering the fact that the honourable and upright people in Imaam As-Sadi’s [may Allah have mercy upon him]
aforementioned statement were greatly rewarded for forgoing something in search of something more honourable for themselves, even though they did not sin, then it is more expected that any sensible person who errs will see the justification for an appeal that he or she give up—for the greater good—actions that might compound the error.

LIKE AN ANIMAL STRUCK BY CALAMITY..
Khalaf ibn Ismā'il said:
'It was mentioned to me by a person of sound intellect named Abū Maymūn: 'O Abū Ismā'il, know there are conditions for patience.'
I asked what they were.
He replied: 'One of the conditions of patience is that you know how to be patient, for whom are you patient, what you want with your patience. You will thus, be counted among them provided you have good intent. Perhaps your patience will be a means of purification for you, otherwise you are like an animal that was struck by calamity and was disturbed by it.."

Did you know?
The brightest star in our sky is called Sirius & is mentioned in the Qur’an by name in chapter "The Star".
And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius
وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَىٰ
Quran 53:49
1400 years ago people knew the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius, however nobody knew the distance to this star.
The word "Star" & word "Earth" are separated by 861 letters. Today we know that Sirius is 861 centi light-years away from Earth. 8.61 light-years is equivalent to 861 centi light-years. The distance to Sirius is 861 centi light-years.
Astonishing isn't it!

O Muslims! Indeed the Taraweeh prayer is a worship and not just (robotic-type) movements and actions that the person doesn't know what he's saying or doing. The point is worshipping Allah, not enumeration of the raka'at (counting them down).

Heal your heart with Qur'ān
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“If you read (the Qur'ān) with contemplation, even if over a (single) ayah, it is a key to healing your heart. Even if repeated a hundred times and for the (whole) night. Reading an ayah with contemplation and understanding is better than reading to completion without tadabbur and understanding. One of the benefits of fasting: to sympathize with the poor
Ibn Rajab narrates:
ذكر الإمام ابن رجب في كتابه لطائف المعارف ص 314 عن بعض السلف أنَّه سئل: "لِمَ شُرِع الصيام؟ فقال: ليذوق الغني طعم الجوع فلا ينسى الجائع".
A pious predecessor was asked: '𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗱?'
He replied: '𝗦𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁/𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿.'
('Lataa'if al-ma'aarif', p. 314).
When the rich taste the hunger that the poor feel, they will have more sympathy for the poor, and they will be more inclined to help the poor and destitute.
These acts bring a person closer to piety (taqwa), which is the ultimate goal of fasting.

THE 3 TYPES OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE..
1. The Leaf people
2. The Branch people
3. The Root people
LEAF PEOPLE:
These are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak. They only come to take what they want, but if the wind comes they will leave.
You need to be careful of these people because they love you when things are okay, but when the wind comes they will leave you BRANCH PEOPLE:
They are strong, but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough and they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons, but
they will go when it becomes harder
ROOT PEOPLE: These people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time they will water you and they are not moved by your position they just love you like that...
It's not all people you meet or are your friends, that will stay with you.
Only the root type of people will stay no matter
the season.
