Boeing 737-800 15kt Crosswind Landing/Cockpit View/Turbulent Approach 

Join us in the flight deck of this Boeing 737-800 as I disconnect the autopilot for landing!

A 15 knot crosswind landing, which is the limit crosswind value for a new first officer, accompanied by thermal and orographic turbulence on final to make the whole approach more interesting.

After landing, the captain asked me if the approach stressed me out; I replied by saying I enjoyed it more than any other smooth approach! The 737 is indeed a pleasure to hand fly.

New Supercarrier Ford Test Its Electromagnetic Catapult With F/A-18, EA-18G, T-45, E-2D, C-2A

U.S. Navy's F/A-18 Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, T-45 Goshawk, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, and E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, C-2A Greyhound, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 20, flight operations test on USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) flight deck, Jan. 2020.

Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).

Занятия по аварийному покиданию воздушного судна с экипажами дальней авиации в Амурской области

Прыжки с головокружительной высоты: занятия по аварийному покиданию воздушного судна прошли с летчиками, штурманами и авиационными спасателями дальней авиации ВКС России в Амурской области.

Задача участников тренировок – совершить прыжок с парашютом с высоты, достигающей 3 тыс. метров. Роль условного аварийного самолета при этом выполняет вертолет Ми-8.

Занятия прошли при температуре воздуха ниже -20 градусов. Были применены парашюты системы «Арбалет-2» и Д-1-5У. Помимо правильности выполнения прыжков оценивается также точность приземления.

Helicopters opened the aerial display sessions at the Singapore Airshow 2020. The F-15SG put on a dynamic, powerful and flare filled display working in unison with the two Apache Helicopters.

F-22 Raptor's Engine Full Afterburner Testing - F119-PW-100 Turbofan Engine

A turbofan jet engine from Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 for F-22 Raptor stealth fighter aircraft tested full afterburner on Hush House at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

The Engine Test Cell Facility, commonly referred to as the "Hush House," is a multi-function building used to perform diagnostic, troubleshooting and follow-on maintenance testing on uninstalled engines and high powered installed engine testing while the engine.

With the new USAF F-22 display pilot Major Joshua Gunderson at the controls spectators were treated with both aggresive flight manoeuvres and excellent slow speed control in a powerful display of some of the F-22's capabilities.
