Q: Are there creatures which live and die under the ocean?

Job 26:5 KJV
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

Confirmation:
"It was believed that life could not exist deep in the ocean. At 200 meters (650 feet) below, light scatters and fades. At 4,000 meters (13,000 feet), the temperature drops almost to freezing, and the pressure increases to one nearly unbearable for humans (2). No light means no plant life, which ultimately implies no animal life." - dartmouth

"1818: Sir John Ross catches worms and jellyfish at a depth of approximately 2,000 meters (6,550 feet), offering the first evidence of deep sea life." - thoughtco

Q: Are there springs in the sea?

Job 38:16 KJV
Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
(Note: depth means deep ocean/sea)

In 350 BC an ancient Greek writer Aristotle believed that: "The old writers who invented theogonies say that the sea has springs, for they want earth and sea to have foundations and roots of their own. Presumably they thought that this view was grander and more impressive as implying that our earth was an important part of the universe … We must now consider the facts which prove that the sea cannot possibly have springs. The waters we find on the earth either flow or are stationary." - Meteorology by Aristotle

Confirmation:
"In 1977, scientists discovered hot springs at a depth of 2.5 km, on the Galapagos Rift (spreading ridge) off the coast of Ecuador. This exciting discovery was not really a surprise. Since the early 1970s, scientists had predicted that hot springs (geothermal vents) should be found at the active spreading centers along the mid-oceanic ridges, where magma, at temperatures over 1,000 °C, presumably was being erupted to form new oceanic crust. More exciting, because it was totally unexpected, was the discovery of abundant and unusual sea life giant tube worms, huge clams, and mussels that thrived around the hot springs." - USGS

Proverbs 8:28 KJV
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep;

Q: Are there channels under the sea?

2 Samuel 22:16 KJV
And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

Confirmation:
"Many deep‐sea channels form the distal part of ocean‐margin sediment transport systems, being incised 100–350 m into ocean‐floor sediments, traversing great distances over the ocean‐basin floor, and generally terminating on an abyssal plain” - Earthdoc

The German meteor expedition created the first detailed survey of the south Atlantic ocean floor. The Route was mainly focused between South America and Africa. The second picture shows the map of the expedition.

Q: Does the sea have paths?

Psalm 8:8 KJV
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

Confirmation:
"Ocean water is constantly moving, and not only in the form of waves and tides. Ocean currents flow like vast rivers, sweeping along predictable paths. Some ocean currents flow at the surface; others flow deep within water." - National Geographic

Let’s add some history here, these paths of the sea were unknown. Matthew Fontaine Maury was first to post an ocean current chart in 1847. Matthew Fontaine Maury read Psalms 8, then he went in search of "the paths of the sea". Here is a quote from a biography authored by his son:

"At one time, when Commodore Maury was very sick, he asked one of his daughters to get the Bible and read to him. She chose Psalm 8, the eighth verse of which speaks of "whatsoever walketh through the paths of the sea", he repeated "the paths of the sea, the paths of the sea, if God says the paths of the sea, they are there, and if I ever get out of this bed I will find them." - Work of Matthew Fontaine

Matthew Fontaine's inspiration can be found in the "United States Naval Institute Proceedings", 1927, p.930

Forsaking the World

As Earth is entering the final days of it’s history it is time to forget earthly things and focus your heart on the things above. Make God the first thing in your life.

Colossians 3:2 KJV
Set your affection on things above
, not on things on the earth.

Think not about riches, wealth, money, houses, cars, careers etc…

Matthew 6:19-21 KJV
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt
, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Proverbs 23:4-5 KJV
Labour not to be rich
: cease from thine own wisdom. 5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

Christians should not be conformed to this world. Don't let others pressure you in to sinning against God.
Is there something or someone who is causing you to sin and stray away from God? Forsake it and remove it from your life. No matter how hard or difficult it may be you must give up every single bad thing for God. Christians must be a peculiar people separate from the world.

Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world
: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 John 2:15-17 KJV
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him
. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

James 4:4 KJV
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?
whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Matthew 5:29-30 KJV
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Titus 2:13-14 KJV
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

We as Christians should not be constantly worried and thinking about our wants and earthly matters. For God knows what we need and can provide us those things. We just need to believe, trust and obey Him.

Matthew 6:25-26 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

And lastly. Do not let your mind be clouded with wicked and evil thoughts. Don't let the things in the world get to you. Think on good, wholesome, pure and spiritual things.

Philippians 4:8 KJV
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Q: Was there a point in time where water was higher than the mountains?

Psalm 104:5-6 KJV
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. 6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

Confirmation:
"This month, a researcher at Harvard University published new evidence that Earth itself was once a water world, with its own global ocean and very little, if any, visible land. Planetary scientist Junjie Dong at Harvard is lead author on the new paper, which focuses on the amount of water present in Earth’s mantle, the layer of rock between our planet’s crust and core. These results were published on March 9, 2021, in the peer-reviewed journal AGU Advances." - Earthsky

Q: What is the shape of the Earth?

Isaiah 40:22 KJV
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers…

Answer:
The word "circle" translates as sphere according to Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon:
H2329 - m. a circle, sphere, used of the arch or vault of the sky, Pro 8:27; Job 22:14; of the world, Isa. 40:22.

This same word is used to describe the sky:
Job 22:14 KJV
…he walketh in the circuit [circle/sphere] of heaven.

The same word is also used to describe the sea:
Proverbs 8:27 KJV
…he set a compass [circle/sphere] upon the face of the depth;

The only way for the sky, water and earth to have the same "circular" shape is for them to be shaped in what we would call a globe.

The question may arise, "Why wasn’t the word sphere used in the King James?"

The word circle in the past could be used in place of a sphere or an orb. This held through to the 18th century where in Samuel Johnson’s "A dictionary of the English Language", the 3rd definition of the word "circle" is "a round body; an orb".

Even Wycliffe in the late 14th century had an alternative translation where he called the earth round "It is he who sitteth above, or over, the roundness of the earth…" (Isaiah 40:22 Wycliffe Bible)

Nothing to Fear

"Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins." Isaiah 58:1

"God means we shall trust in Him and enjoy His goodness. He lays out day by day before us and we must have eyes and perceptive powers to take these things in. However great and glorious the full and perfect deliverance from evil we shall realize in heaven, it is not all to be kept for the time of final deliverance. God brings it into our present life. We need daily to cultivate faith in a present Saviour. Trusting in a power out of and above ourselves, exercising faith in unseen support and power which is waiting the demand of the needy and dependent, we can trust amid clouds as well as sunshine, singing of present deliverance and present enjoyment of His love. The life we now live must be by faith in the Son of God. The Christian's life is a strangely mingled scene of sorrows and joys, disappointments and hopes, fears and confidence. There will be much dissatisfaction with self, as he views his own heart so deeply stirred, surged with passion that seems to bear all before it, and then follows remorse and sorrow and repentance, followed by peace and deep hidden joys, because he knows, as his faith grasps the promises that are revealed in God's Word, that he has the forgiving love of a longsuffering Saviour. And that Saviour, he seeks to bring into his life, weave into his character. It is these revealings, these discoveries of God's goodness, that make the soul humble and lead it to cry out in gratitude, "I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me" (Galatians 2:20). We have reason to be comforted. Severe outward trials may press around the soul where Jesus lives. Let us turn to Him for the consolations He has provided for us in His Word. The nether springs of hope and comfort may appear to fail us, but the upper springs which feed the river of God are full of supply and can never be dried up. God would have you look away from the cause of your afflictions to Him who is the Owner of soul, body, and spirit. He is the lover of the soul. He knows the value of the soul. He is the true Vine and we are the branches. We shall have no spiritual nourishment only as we draw it from Jesus who is the life of the soul." - Letter 10, 02/23/1887

Q: Does the earth rotate? [Part 1/2]

Job 38:12-14 KJV
Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days… That it might take hold of the ends of the earthIt is turned as clay to the seal

Confirmation:
I want to first make clear that the infinitive (base form of the verb) "to turn" in the Hebrew is in the reflexive tense. This is the "Hithpael" stem, as previously mentioned. This means that the turning here is done by the object itself, the sentence should be understood as "it turns itself as clay to the seal".

The Lord is using a concept Job would understand to explain how the earth "rotates itself". In the east a common practice of making seal impressions or creating art, would be to roll a clay on a seal or the art itself. This is depicted by the diagram above.

Q: Does the earth rotate? [Part 2/2]

Confirmation:
"In ancient Mesopotamia, a cylinder-shaped seal could be rolled on a variety of objects made of clay… Many cylinder seals have survived because they were made of durable materials, particularly stone, but also metal and fired clay". - metmuseum

The rotation of the earth was proved through the Foucault pendulum. "The Foucault Pendulum is named for the French physicist Jean Foucault (pronounced "Foo-koh), who first used it in 1851 to demonstrate the rotation of the earth. It was the first satisfactory demonstration of the earth's rotation using laboratory apparatus rather than astronomical observations." - Smithsonian

A quick point to add, these clay rollers are perfect examples because they can only roll whilst moving. They don't roll whilst staying in the same place. As we know the earth rotates whilst in motion.

Forwarded from Sunday Laws Are Coming
Portuguese Catholics Fight To Bring Back The ‘Work-Free Sunday’ 🚨

The Christian Network Europe stated on March 6th, 2023, that “A Catholic organisation in Portugal wants to revive the idea of a “work-free Sunday”.”

They went on the state: “The Liga Operária Católica (LOC/MTC) said to Ecclesia that the “work-free Sunday” is a necessary measure to protect the lives of families.”

“The fight for a work-free Sunday, more than fair, is necessary, so that there is family life for everyone! So that families, all workers, can live together and fraternize and build a fairer and more solidary world,” the organisation said.”

While much of Portugal sees the Sunday as a rest day, many businesses continue to keep their doors open. Retail and service sector workers are often left with little choice in taking off Sundays in their schedules. According to Belzuz, a law firm that operates in Spain and Portugal, current labour laws state that an employee can designate one “rest day” in the week. However, in many cases, the “rest day” cannot be on a Sunday, where it is “not required to close or suspend its operations for a full day during the week or obliged to close or suspend operations other than Sunday.”

“The complex nature of Portugal’s labour laws has led to the intervention of its Supreme Court. According to a 20minutos report from last November, the Supreme Court released parents from the responsibility of working on weekends, including Sundays.”

As the times are ‘speeding up’, and the end draws closer, satan know’s he only has so much time to get his demonic agenda done.

The enforcement of mandatory Sunday laws is one of the main agenda’s at which he is striving. All the world will comply to this agenda. However, obedient Christains will not.

It is also important to note that the Christian Network Europe is a Protestant News network. The uniting of Catholics and Protestants was prophesied to happen. They are joining hands with each other.

Proverbs 11:21 “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.”

Just as the Jewish people, who believed themselves to be the true Israel of God, persecuted and killed the early church at the time of Christ; so too will fallen Protestants and Catholics believe themselves to be the true church of God, and persecute and kill true Christians who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. History will repeat.

Again and again we can see the idea of “Work-free Sundays” and the Sunday being a day for no work and relaxation as a worldwide belief. But, it is our duty, as Christians, to let the people know the truth on this matter: The seventh day Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, and Sunday is nothing more than a common work day.

Secret of Sanctification

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6

"Christ commissions us to shine as lights in the world, by reflecting the light of God as seen in the face of Jesus Christ. Who among us is doing this? Are our lives all aglow with this wondrous light? God expects every one of us to reflect His image to the world. We have been led on step by step to make advancement. We have walked and worked by faith, and we need to discipline ourselves to endure hardship as good soldiers of Jesus Christ. We want good, strong minds that are not easily discouraged, minds that are educated to grapple with the difficulties we shall meet, and wrestle with and conquer hard problems. We must lift the standard of truth in the towns and cities around us. We must see what is to be done and do it in the love and fear of God. When we have gone just as far as we can by faith, then the Lord will undertake in our behalf. It is God who has inspired us to commence this work. We have gone forward step by step, praying, believing, working. God is the author of our faith, and when we each act our individual part, He perfects the work, glorifying His own name in the finishing of it. The Lord inspires His consecrated workmen to work not from what they see but from what the Lord sees. We need to strengthen our souls with hope, the twin sister of faith. God's workers must live in perfect submission to the will of God. There is danger of working at cross purposes with God, for man wants to work his way, which he supposes is the very best way in which to bring about the purposes of God. But we cannot have our own way and will. God must work in us and by us and through us. We are to be in the hands of God as clay in the hands of the potter, for Him to mold after the divine similitude. Our hearts need to be wholly sanctified to God. Let us not seek to retain our own way and will. God has given us His truth, that it may sanctify, refine, and ennoble the whole man. "This is the will of God" concerning you, He said, "even your sanctification" (1 Thessalonians 4:3). "His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3)."
