💻 Common generic workflow for a machine learning analysis of omics data

including steps to reduce the dimension of the data through feature selection or feature extraction, higher-level machine learning analysis for classifying omics data samples (a supervised analysis) or clustering the samples (an unsupervised analysis), and evaluation of the obtained machine learning models on external test data

Dear All,

We would like to inform that our September 2020 introductory course on Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics (7.5 ECTS credits) given by Uppsala University is now open for late application.

The course, which is free of charge for EU/EAA-citizens, is suited for students, researchers, post docs and teachers who are interested to learn how complex chemical and biomedical processes can be investigated even down to their finest chemical details using informatics, and how this can be used for the studies of drugs.

✍️To receive further information sign up at http://www.pharmbio.org .

📕Course literature is the textbook Introduction to Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics. More information is available here:

🧑‍🏫 More information on additional courses is available at http://www.pharmbio.org/pharmbio.php?f1=plh65Lr63pBLg65g

💥Note that the formal applications for the courses take place at:
https://www.universityadmissions.se/intl/search?period=9&freeText=pharmaceutical+bioinformatics&semesterPart=0

💥Note also In order to attend it's mandatory that you sign up at universityadmissions.se and submit all documents requested and the necessary credits.

IF you are NON-EU/EAA-citizen or want to attend twithout showing formal
credits - you may apply to our commissioned courses - you find more information on
this option here: www.pharmbio.org/pharmbio.php?f1=63p--zggzpo6564

Also please note that late applications are only open until August 15, 2020. Please therefore apply as soon as possible to be able to attend!

If you have any questions regarding the courses we are at your disposal at pharmbioinf@farmbio.uu.se

All our best regards
