Influential Wikipedia editors are currently trying to delete "Mass killings under communist regimes" 🙈
There's a huge scandal at CNN, but investigating it on Twitter is against the "rules".
BitChute CEO had a chat with Chris Dangerfield where they discussed 2021, the attacks on free speech and solutions moving into 2022 https://www.bitchute.com/video/F5Ev7JAHTNgC/
Some things we were criticized for hosting in 2021 have just turned out to be legacy media news.

CDC revises its opinion on the effectiveness of PCR tests in the testing of Covid19.

Ghislaine Maxwell found guilty of multiple charges including sex trafficking minors and conspiracy.
This is quite a long document regarding UK legislation that is likely to have a large impact on the Internet and influence legislation worldwide.

This draft was put out in December https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/jt5802/jtselect/jtonlinesafety/129/129.pdf
https://techcrunch.com/2022/01/07/pendulum-raises-5-9m-to-help-organizations-track-harmful-narratives/

This startup has raised $5.9 to track "harmful narratives" on Bitchute and other platforms...

Does anyone know what a harmful narrative is?

According to the founders they are not even interested in the truth: “We actually have this really strong powerful narrative tracking engine that is not reliant on whether or not something’s true or false,”
Searching for the exact term 'Bitchute' from the UK no longer returns the main Bitchute website.

Google uses its monopoly in search to protect its monopoly in video.
Why might Google have blocked the main 'bitchute' site from its search engine?

According to Googles own stats, the trend of searching for bitchute looks like a hockey stick, and is ready to shoot up to the moon in 2022
For some reason (perhaps someone with influence watches our social feeds)
Google has decided to put the Bitchute site back as the top link for the UK. We've had this from reports and confirmed ourselves.
Twitter has once again placed a warning label on all Bitchute links. For some reason they seem to fixate on Bitchute despite much of the content appearing elsewhere on the internet including on Twitter.

Twitter that has a long history of hosting child abuse content has no business in claiming Bitchute is 'unsafe'.

This warning label makes it seem like there is malware on Bitchute which is completely untrue and irresponsible as it diminishes trust in legitimate malware warning messages.
The BBC frames the complex subject of "misinformation" as clear cut, and frames the government and govt-controlled media as always truthful and accurate.

"I imagine that there are quite a lot of citizens who would have their worst suspicions confirmed about how society works"

"Rather than removing content, one way suggested by the report's authors of tackling misinformation is making it harder to find and share"

"Research from organised crime and counter-terrorism shows the need to disrupt the whole network, he says."

It was only a matter of time before it reached the VPNs. Surfshark labels BitChute and many other sites as "misinformation"
The BitChute homepage is unique in that we do not editorialize it at all, content that is popular based on subscribers and views will reach the homepage regardless of the opinions of any BitChute staff. Sometimes we are criticized for this, sometimes we are applauded, you decide.

"The Government has the capacity by using computers to get all kinds of information on us that we're really not even aware that they had, isn't that dangerous?"

Jobs was right about the need for computer literacy, but learning the user interfaces we use today is not enough, and should only be the very beginning of the education that makes someone computer literate.

SurfSharks reply was less than impressive. Anyone who has thought about this knows that they will never obtain absolute truth and it's a ridiculous thing to say otherwise. Also features like this enabled by default have implications for the future of Internet censorship.
In the last year many people were censored for "misinformation" that is now widely accepted as true, the only effective way to find truth is by upholding peoples right to freedom of expression.

You can incite people to kill Russians on Big Tech but you can't ask certain questions about a virus. 🤔
News outlet MediaZona, founded by members of the anarchist punk group Pussy Riot, has been blocked in Russia. It’s part of a growing crackdown on liberal media since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
