Twitter has once again placed a warning label on all Bitchute links. For some reason they seem to fixate on Bitchute despite much of the content appearing elsewhere on the internet including on Twitter.
Twitter that has a long history of hosting child abuse content has no business in claiming Bitchute is 'unsafe'.
This warning label makes it seem like there is malware on Bitchute which is completely untrue and irresponsible as it diminishes trust in legitimate malware warning messages.

The BBC frames the complex subject of "misinformation" as clear cut, and frames the government and govt-controlled media as always truthful and accurate.
"I imagine that there are quite a lot of citizens who would have their worst suspicions confirmed about how society works"
"Rather than removing content, one way suggested by the report's authors of tackling misinformation is making it harder to find and share"
"Research from organised crime and counter-terrorism shows the need to disrupt the whole network, he says."

"The Government has the capacity by using computers to get all kinds of information on us that we're really not even aware that they had, isn't that dangerous?"
Jobs was right about the need for computer literacy, but learning the user interfaces we use today is not enough, and should only be the very beginning of the education that makes someone computer literate.

SurfSharks reply was less than impressive. Anyone who has thought about this knows that they will never obtain absolute truth and it's a ridiculous thing to say otherwise. Also features like this enabled by default have implications for the future of Internet censorship.

@bitchutenews Thank you for bringing this up! We will be updating this feature to make sure there are no false positives.
In the last year many people were censored for "misinformation" that is now widely accepted as true, the only effective way to find truth is by upholding peoples right to freedom of expression.

We have decided to suspend our “fake news” notification feature temporarily. And while our intentions were good - the topic is more nuanced than initially thought 🙏
We've been coming under pressure to remove RT, but as a platform we must remain neutral and provide due process and freedom of expression to everyone equally, so we said NO

This is just one of many social media manipulation factories that exists around the world. Each table has about 100 smart phones. They are available to push state narratives or the narrative of anyone else who can afford them.

The UK is a country that believes in due process and freedom of expression, and more dangerous than any misinformation is when politicians try to side-step these principles. twitter.com/CPJElmore/stat…
