Another gem has emerged from our dear Bosnian Milorad Dodik, this time brought to us by Sputnik, where he speaks—concern in his voice—about how the West is trying to subvert the Orthodox world and weaken it in Ukraine and Armenia.

Now, what’s comical about all of this?

This same Dodik sent a heartfelt letter of congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev when the Azerbaijani army defeated that same Orthodox world in all its arrogance, crushed it in Nagorno-Karabakh, and reinstated Azerbaijan’s territorial sovereignty.

The letter reads:

“In the sincere hope that the newly arisen situation will open the possibility for the full integration of this region and its inhabitants, as well as their further development and progress, we once again wish for lasting and stable peace and prosperity for the Karabakh region and the whole of Azerbaijan.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the expressions of my deep respect and good wishes for your personal health and well-being...”

Очередная жемчужина от нашего дорогого боснийца Милорада Додика, на этот раз — через любимый Sputnik, где он, с тревогой в голосе, говорит о том, как Запад пытается подорвать православный мир и ослабить его в Украине и Армении.

А теперь — что же во всём этом комичного?

Тот же самый Додик направил искреннее поздравительное письмо президенту Ильхаму Алиеву, когда азербайджанская армия разгромила тот самый православный мир во всей его надменности, сокрушила его в Нагорном Карабахе и восстановила территориальный суверенитет Азербайджана.

В письме говорится:

«В искренней надежде, что вновь сложившаяся ситуация откроет возможность полной интеграции этого региона и его жителей, а также их дальнейшего развития и прогресса, мы вновь выражаем пожелания прочного и стабильного мира и процветания для региона Карабаха и всего Азербайджана.

🇧🇦🇹🇷 OIC Adopts Special Resolution on Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul – 14 Key Points

At its 51st Foreign Ministers Summit in Istanbul, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) adopted a special Resolution on Bosnia and Herzegovina, reaffirming strong support for its territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty.

🔹 Key Highlights from the 14-Point Resolution:

1. Condemns separatist actions by the Republika Srpska leadership as the most serious violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.


2. Fully supports BiH’s constitutional order and rejects pressure on its judiciary.


3. Strongly denounces hate speech, glorification of war criminals, and Islamophobia targeting Bosniaks.


4. Warns that denial of the Srebrenica Genocide violates international and domestic law.


5. Calls for continued support to Srebrenica survivors and July 11 to be marked as a Day of Mourning.


6. Urges OIC states to implement the UN Resolution declaring July 11 as International Genocide Memorial Day.

7. Demands respect from neighboring countries for BiH’s sovereignty and non-interference.


8. Reaffirms support for equal rights for all citizens across BiH.


9. Welcomes EU decision to open accession talks with BiH.


10. Calls on the Islamic Development Bank to fund youth and returnee-focused investments.

11. Backs BiH’s full EU membership path.


12. Promotes improved economic and social conditions.


13. Urges stronger ties with BiH’s Islamic Community, the oldest organized Muslim body in modern Europe.


14. Requests the UN Secretary-General to monitor and report on implementation.

📝 The Resolution was adopted alongside the Istanbul Declaration, which condemned RS leadership’s destabilizing policies. The move was strongly backed by Türkiye.

🔸 The OIC, the second-largest global organization after the UN, includes 57 member states and was founded in 1969.

🇧🇦 Bihać Medžlis Plans €100 Million Islamic Center 🕌

The Islamic Community in Bihać has found an investor for a €100 million project to build a major religious, residential, and tourist complex on Ribić Island. Plans include a 5-star hotel, mosque, business-residential units, a scenic promenade, and a new bridge over the Una River. The complex will remain a permanent waqf under Medžlis ownership. Construction is expected to take 5 years.

🇧🇦 The Hidden War: How the Arms Embargo Crippled Bosnia’s Defense

During the war in Bosnia, a total arms embargo prevented the ARBiH from defending its people — armies attacked. Behind the scenes, key allies tried to help:

🔹 Saudi Arabia donated hundreds of millions, even planes. 🇸🇦

🔹 Iran offered free weapons and risky airlifts under the radar. 🇮🇷

🔹 But Croatia, under Tuđman, blocked arms, demanded a "weapons tax," and even diverted aid. 🇭🇷

📌 Richard Holbrooke & David Owen revealed Croatia took 50% of weapons passing through.

📌 Gojko Šušak refused to send munitions until Bosnia gave up its weapons factory.

📌 Bosnian convoys were blocked as Srebrenica fell.

Meanwhile, Europe firmly opposed lifting the embargo, even after the Srebrenica genocide. Izetbegović was pressured by the US to delay calls for lifting it — only for the promise to be broken.

Only after mass killings did the US Congress finally lift the embargo in July 1995 — against Clinton’s will.

Glimpses of Elegance: 19th-Century Bosniak Children's Attire ☪⚜

This 19th-century Bosniak children's costume, worn by wealthy families, was made from luxurious materials like silk and velvet, reflecting high social status and refined aesthetic taste during the Ottoman era. Pastel colors signified Muslim identity, as other faiths were restricted to darker tones. The attire featured fine muslin shirts, silk dimije, and intricately gold-embroidered vests, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. Girls wore flower-adorned fez caps, with the wealthiest adding jeweled brooches. Jewelry symbolized readiness for marriage—the more adorned a girl was, the higher her status.

The zar was a silk women’s covering worn when going out in public. It arrived in Bosnia from the East during the 19th century, brought by the wives of Ottoman officials.

It was a symbol of luxury, status, and refined taste. The zar could only be found in wealthier households and was passed down from generation to generation.

This bajrakli zar comes from Vareš, from the Lagumdžija family. It is a gift from hanuma Senida Lagumdžija, née Parić, a descendant of a respected Vareš family. Woven from the finest thick silk in grey, it is interlaced with bronze threads and edged with golden tassels.

The zar was a woman's window to the world, allowing her to be present without being exposed to the gaze of others.

The 700-year-old Mehter orchestra has once again graced the streets of Bosnia, reviving the old Ottoman music and the memory of the Caliphate. They plan to tour several cities across our country, so do show up if you have the time.
