Deblockade of Mostar & Death of Hujka
On June 30, 1993, ARBiH launched a key operation to break HVO’s siege of East Mostar. With no Plan B, the aim was to liberate the Northern Camp and connect with forces in Konjic and Jablanica.
During the battle, brigade commander Midhat Hujdur Hujka was killed while leading an assault on the HVO command post. His death became a symbol of heroism.
The operation succeeded: the Northern Camp, Bijelo Polje, Vrapčići, and key areas were liberated.

🇧🇦 Electricity, Water, Heating & Public Transport Prices All Going Up
📈 In the Federation of BiH, a proposed electricity price hike of 4.8% to 6.3% for households is awaiting regulatory approval. This follows last year’s 10.4% increase. New "block tariffs" (green, blue, red) are also being introduced, with higher usage leading to higher rates.
💡 EPBiH says 60% of users fall under the "green" (lowest) tariff. Critics warn that large families will suffer most, while wealthy absentee owners won’t feel the impact.
🚰 In Sarajevo, water prices are rising too. From July 1, the price per cubic meter jumps from 1.25 KM to 1.66 KM. The fixed fee also increases from 2 KM to 3.26 KM.
🚌 Public transport fares are going up. From July 1, the single ticket price will be 2.50 KM (users pay 2.20 KM after subsidy). Monthly passes for workers now cost 60 KM (A-zone).
🔥 Heating bills via Toplane will rise by 3.98%.

🕊 Srebrenica Genocide Memorial Day to Be Marked Globally
For the first time since the adoption of the UN resolution, July 11 — International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica — will be officially observed by hundreds of countries worldwide, including at the UN Headquarters in New York.
📚 Educational programs recognizing the genocide are already being implemented in countries such as Canada, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Australia, Turkey, and Indonesia. In some, the topic will be taught through dedicated courses or even full subjects.
🌍 Over 100 diplomatic missions have already committed to participating in various commemorations — part of a growing international effort to institutionalize remembrance and prevent future genocides.
📌 As the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide approaches in 2025, this year’s global commemorations mark a new chapter in the international recognition of the atrocity.

🇷🇼 Rwanda to Srebrenica: United in Memory
As genocide survivors, we speak to you not just as partners — but as sisters and brothers who share the pain of loss and the weight of memory.
Time passes, but grief remains. We understand the burden. Like you, we fight to protect the future for our children.
We are proud that Rwanda, alongside Germany, proposed and delivered the UN resolution recognizing the Srebrenica genocide.
For 20+ years, we’ve shared your story at our memorial — so the world never forgets.
To the survivors: we stand with you against denial.
To the Mothers of Srebrenica: your courage reminds us of Rwanda’s own brave women. You made justice possible. We deeply respect you.
Though oceans apart, our journeys connect us. Together, we guide tomorrow’s leaders toward a more just and peaceful world.
Kwibuka. Remember.
Srebrenica. Never forget.

🚨🇧🇦 No longer a fugitive: Milorad Dodik questioned, detention lifted
He was brought before the BiH Court, where detention was officially lifted, as the grounds no longer exist.
🎙️ Dodik’s surrender was secretly negotiated through intermediaries, including a state agency director from Banja Luka and a family member (Vico Zeljković). WhatsApp messages reportedly confirm these arrangements.
💬 In a tapped call, one of Dodik’s lawyers informed him:
> “One of the judges from the Appeals panel is taken care of… We’ll handle the rest.”
🕵️ Inside sources claim the deal was to surrender voluntarily, get questioned, and in return, have detention revoked — portraying the suspect as "cooperative." This deal led to the disbanding of the original prosecutorial team, with the case handed solely to Vedrana Mijović — daughter of former SNSD official Slavko Jovičić.

Rule of thumb: There is no civilization in Europe, no culture in Europe, and no future in Europe. The exception that proves the rule is Bosnia. Its heroes are not criminals in disguise; its heroes truly existed and were not invented a hundred years after historical events for some theatre of false pride.
It is not rich or wealthy because it did not plunder Africa, Asia, or the Americas. What it has, it has earned—and from what it has earned, Europe has stolen and destroyed through its corporate cancer.
Bosniaks are cynical, sarcastic, and pessimistic because they are capable of differentiating right from wrong, mistakes from correctness, and loss from victory—unlike the rest of the continent, which is incapable of any of those. Bosnia feels shame and guilt when it makes a mistake or fails; the rest of Europe is incapable of even that.
The faith that we have is a faith, not an instrument or tool of control for the powerful. It rejects hypocrisy and recoils from it—it does not get drunk on it like the rest of the continent.
Its people have evolved and changed over time, from the backwater of Christian medieval Europe into the light of Islamic civilization. They carry that light within their souls and have never abandoned it, even when threatened with death and destruction.
That is the tragedy of this continent: it has not changed, it has not evolved. The makeup always fades and must be replaced. And we, unlike the rest of it, are despised precisely because we have managed to evolve.
That is self-evident. That is measurable. That is truth.
