🇸🇾 Will Syria Normalise Relations with Israel? The short answer is yes—they will normalise, and it will be brokered by the United States. This will, of course, cause outrage. There will be all sorts of sympathisers of the old regime and pseudo-political…
It's been a while since I've done any political commentary on the Middle East in this format. For those new to the channel, I'd like to let you know that I used to do this more frequently—so this is really nothing new.

📍🇧🇦 Onto some more happier posts, have you ever heard of Trebinje? It is a small city in the Trebišnjica river valley, located in the south-west corner of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Trebinje has a Mediterranean climate. During the year, there are about 260 sunny days, warm summers, and mild winters.

🇧🇦 Allied Bombing of Banja Luka, 1944
On 31 March 1944, a British B-26 Marauder was photographed after bombing the Bosnian city of Banja Luka. This was part of a wider Allied campaign targeting Axis-controlled infrastructure across occupied Europe — and Yugoslavia was no exception. But these strikes came at a cost — civilians often paid the price, as cities like Banja Luka were caught in the crossfire of World War II’s final years. The British nor the Americans were ever held accountable for their crimes in Bosnia during WW2.

Krenite, biće vam dat ponos dunjaluka i ahireta.

🇧🇦 The Unyielding Faith of Muharem ef. Memagić
“I entered prison with my imam’s turban, and with it I shall leave – with dignity. I do not need your pardon.”
These were the defiant words of Muharem ef. Memagić, a dignified Bosniak imam from Bihać, remembered for his honesty, courage, and unwavering moral compass. Born in 1910, he was a man of learning and principle — more educated than his communist persecutors, and a living lesson in how to preserve dignity under oppression.
During WWII, imams in Bosanska Krajina suffered immensely:
🔸 Four were slaughtered by Chetniks in 1942–43:
– Šaćir ef. Malkoč (Pokoj)
– Mehmed ef. Mehulić (Čavkići)
– Hfz. Šerif ef. Begić (Srbljani)
– Abas ef. Duljković (Ribić)
🔸 Others died of wounds, typhus, or tuberculosis.
After the war, many imams endured years in communist prisons. Muharem ef. Memagić was arrested in 1952 and sentenced to four years for opposing state seizure of religious schools and for allegedly declaring that "communism would not spread while he was alive." He denied all charges. Offered early release, he refused:
“I entered prison with my religious dignity intact. I will not trade it for your mercy.”
Upon release, he resumed his duties, building mosques, educating children, and serving the faithful in places like Cazin, Bužim, and Bosanska Dubica — until his passing in 1983.
Muharem ef. Memagić remains a symbol of spiritual resistance — proof that integrity can survive even the harshest prisons.

🏠 A Home for Palestinian Families – Let’s Help Together! 🇵🇸🤝🇧🇦
Pomozi.ba is launching an appeal to build a house for five Palestinian families currently living in the Salakovac refugee camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
📞 By calling 17047, you donate 2 KM and directly support these families in securing a safe and dignified home.
The El Barawi and Rajab families – 19 people in total – are living in extremely difficult conditions. Among them is Sutka El Barawi, a Bosnian woman who married Palestinian student Samir in the 1980s. They moved to Palestine, but were forced to flee the war and return to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They never asked for much – just a sewing machine to start working. Hardworking, dignified, and humble, they never wanted to live off others. Today, their biggest wish is a roof over their heads. The house they hope to buy costs 130,000 KM – out of their reach, but achievable if we come together!
Bosnians know what it means to lose your home, to be a refugee, to see loved ones suffer in wars they didn’t choose.
🕊️ Let’s help these families build a new home in BiH – one filled with peace, warmth, and hope. Let’s show them they are not alone.
📲 In addition to calling 17047, you can also donate via:

🇹🇷 Türkiye Halkını Tebrik Ediyoruz! 🇹🇷
Bugün, 15 Temmuz hain darbe girişiminin yıldönümünde, Türk milletinin destansı direnişini bir kez daha gururla anıyoruz.
Tanklara karşı göğsünü siper eden, demokrasiyi savunmak için sokaklara çıkan, milli iradeye sahip çıkan milyonlarca yurttaş sayesinde bu topraklarda darbeye geçit verilmedi.
Hayatını kaybeden şehitlerimizi rahmetle anıyor, gazilerimize minnetlerimizi sunuyoruz.
Demokrasi kazandı. Millet dimdik ayakta durdu.
💪🇹🇷 Yaşasın Türkiye!

🇬🇧📽 British TV Reveals Unseen Footage of Srebrenica Genocide – But Why Now?
Nearly 30 years after the Srebrenica genocide, Channel 4 has just released previously unseen footage from January 1996—just six months after over 8,000 Bosniak men and boys were systematically executed.
The footage reveals:
🔻 Bullet-riddled buildings
🔻 Freshly disturbed mass graves
🔻 Exposed human remains – body parts beneath torn clothing and a soldier’s boot next to freshly dug earth
While British journalist Jane Bennett-Powell documented undeniable evidence of war crimes committed by Bosnian Serb forces, the so-called “international community,” including Britain, turned a blind eye back then. The UN-protected zone fell, and with it, so did any illusion of Western protection for Bosniaks. Despite knowing about the atrocities, British forces and intelligence, like many others in NATO, remained shamefully passive. Now, nearly three decades later, they air the horror as historical drama—yet fail to admit their own inaction and complicity. Even US satellites had already identified mass grave sites in Nova Kasaba and Glogova, and NATO intelligence warned of up to 300 potential mass graves across Bosnia.
Meanwhile, the Republika Srpska’s authorities at the time denied everything, and their so-called military courts never tried a single case related to Srebrenica. Justice delayed is justice denied. This footage isn't a revelation—it's a reminder of how Britain and the West allowed genocide to happen on European soil, then sat on the evidence for decades.

🇧🇦☪ Sheikh Halil Brzina Passed Away
Sheikh Halil Brzina, also known by his dervish name Halil Hulusi Naqshbandi al-Bosnawi, passed away in Sarajevo at the age of 72. He was a wartime commander of the 7th Muslim Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the sheikh of the Naqshbandi tekke next to the historic Sarač Ismail Mosque in Mejtaš.
Sheikh Brzina was a rare figure who embodied both military courage and deep spiritual calm. During the aggression against Bosnia, he played a key role in forming the 7th Muslim Brigade alongside Mahmut ef. Karalić (Zenica), Sulejman ef. Čeliković (Kakanj), and Ahmet Adilović (Travnik). Starting as a logistics officer, he later became the brigade’s commander and, after the war, led the 1st Corps of the Army of RBiH until retiring due to health reasons.
He passed away early this morning around 5 AM at the Sarajevo Clinical Center, where he was receiving treatment.
May Allah reward him for his struggle, and may the Bosnian soil lie lightly upon him.
