🇧🇦 Bosnia and Herzegovina Considering Participation in Gaza Peace Mission

At a press conference yesterday, #Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Defense, Zukan Helez, announced the possibility that the Armed Forces of B&H (OS BiH) may take part in an upcoming peace mission in the #Gaza Strip.

This statement comes after several European governments signaled their intention to join the U.S.-led mission expected to be formed for Gaza.

“We have been discussing and negotiating, and I believe it will be successful, for our peace forces to participate in the mission in Gaza led by the United States,” Helez said.

في مؤتمر صحفي عُقد يوم أمس، أعلن وزير دفاع البوسنة والهرسك زوكان هيليز عن احتمال مشاركة القوات المسلحة للبوسنة والهرسك في مهمة حفظ السلام المرتقبة في قطاع غزة.

يأتي هذا الإعلان بعد أن أشارت عدة حكومات أوروبية إلى نيتها الانضمام إلى المهمة التي من المتوقع أن تقودها الولايات المتحدة في غزة.

"لقد كنا نناقش ونتفاوض، وأعتقد أن الأمر سيكون ناجحًا، لكي تشارك قواتنا في مهمة غزة التي ستقودها الولايات المتحدة."

🇧🇦 The City That Broke the Betting Machine!

Bihać’s decision to introduce new municipal fees for betting shops has pushed gambling operators to pack up and leave — creating a safer environment around schools and commercial areas.

After a final court ruling in favor of the City of Bihać regarding the disputed fees, citizens are now seeing the first real benefits.

Mayor Elvedin Sedić proudly announced that the number of registered betting shops in Bihać has dropped significantly.

“After a final and binding verdict, I can say we succeeded — not only legally, but in essence. Bihać won what belongs to it. Today, 12 betting shops operate less in our city. Some withdrew, others tried appeals and lawsuits, but all of them lost. This is fact. If you want to do business here, you must respect the rules of this community. If you earn here, you must give back here,” Sedić said.

He added that one betting company alone owes the city nearly one million KM for 2024–2025.

قرار مدينة Bihać بفرض رسوم بلدية جديدة على صالات المراهنات دفع العديد من مشغّلي ألعاب الحظ إلى إغلاق فروعهم والرحيل — مما خلق بيئة أكثر أمانًا قرب المدارس والمناطق التجارية.

وبعد صدور الحكم النهائي لصالح بلدية Bihać بشأن هذه الرسوم، بدأ المواطنون يلمسون أولى الفوائد الحقيقية.

وأعلن رئيس البلدية Elvedin Sedić بفخر أن عدد محلات المراهنات في Bihać انخفض بشكل كبير.

"بعد الحكم النهائي والملزم، أستطيع القول إننا نجحنا — ليس فقط قانونيًا بل في الجوهر أيضًا. Bihać استعادت حقها. اليوم هناك 12 صالة مراهنات أقل في المدينة. بعضهم انسحب، وآخرون حاولوا الاستئناف ورفع الدعاوى، لكنهم جميعًا خسروا. هذه حقيقة. من يريد العمل هنا عليه احترام قواعد هذا المجتمع. وإذا تربح هنا، فعليك أن ترد للمجتمع هنا"، قال Elvedin Sedić.

وأضاف أن إحدى شركات المراهنات وحدها تدين للمدينة بما يقارب مليون مارك عن عامي 2024–2025.

🇧🇦 Disturbing Incident Outside Mosque

According to Imam Idriz ef. Bušatlić of the Mehmed-beg Stočanin congregation, a man identified as Slipac Fabijan approached the mosque on 29 November 2025 around 12:30 — just as children were leaving religious classes — and began crossing them, as well as the mosque itself, while saying: “Praise Jesus and Mary!”

A parent who witnessed the act immediately confronted the man near the local post office and warned him not to repeat such behaviour. The incident was then reported to the local police station.

Parents expressed anger and concern, saying they fear similar incidents may occur again, especially since the same man was previously seen “crossing people around town.”

Meanwhile in Zagreb (Croatia), a 35-year-old nun stabbed herself and then lied that she had been attacked by an immigrant who shouted “Allahu Akbar.”

You can't make this stuff up, I swear.

The lesser-known flag of Bosnia. Our country existed briefly as an independent nation after the Congress of Berlin, before it was occupied by the Austro-Hungarian Empire and later annexed. This flag which was used at the time is very similar to that of Husein Gradaščević, which was used during his revolt.

Croatian lobbyist Max pushed anti-Bosnian narrative in the U.S. Congress

At a hearing of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee on the Western Balkans, Max Primorac spoke about the political situation in the region, including Bosnia and Herzegovina. Croatian lobbyist Primorac described Croats in BiH as a “persecuted Christian community threatened by Muslims.”

Primorac claimed that “Bosnia and Herzegovina is a failed state thirty years after Dayton, with broken institutions, a collapsing economy, and constant crisis.” He argued that the Office of the High Representative should be shut down, accusing it of undermining sovereignty, imposing laws, and disrupting interethnic relations. He insisted that Washington should stop trying to create a “centralized, Muslim-dominated state” and said only a third entity could “save this persecuted Christian community.”
