🇪🇺 Brussels Pressures Bosnia Again

Once again, Brussels is issuing warnings to Bosnia and Herzegovina, demanding alignment with EU visa policy. According to the European Commission’s latest report, BiH is being criticized for maintaining visa-free regimes with countries like Turkey, Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Kuwait, and for seasonal visa-free travel with Saudi Arabia.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is being told to cut ties with key global partners that bring tourists, investments, students, and political balance just to satisfy EU bureaucratic checklists.

Yes, Sarajevo already abolished visa-free travel with Bahrain and Oman to comply with EU demands. Yet Brussels says this is still “not enough.” Now, 6+1 remaining arrangements are labeled “misaligned,” as if Bosnia has no right to conduct its own foreign policy.

How do you explain to a foreigner that the surname "Zulfikarpašić" exists in our land?
The surname literally comes from this beautiful sword (Zulfiqar). Imagine an Englishman called John Broadsword or something like that.

🇲🇦🇧🇦 "The Moroccan Mosque in Sarajevo is a beautiful example of the interconnectedness of the Muslim world. Pre-modern Muslims never hesitated to travel and settle throughout Muslim lands and felt a sense of belonging and ownership wherever they ended up.

Part of the mission of Road to Roots is to foster this sense of belonging and connection through study abroad programs in various parts of the Muslim world today.

While Muslims had their mosques shelled and blown up during Eid, they allowed Christians to celebrate their Christmas without any incidents.
