A deliberate misconception about Bosnia, often presented to Muslims and unknowingly repeated by them, is that we are a blend of Western and Eastern (Islamic) civilizations. This is only a partial truth, which can be explained in a few sentences. What is referred to as Islamic civilization in Bosnia is represented by figures like Isa-Beg Ishaković (and other great Muslim governors) who founded the city of Sarajevo (and other cities). On the other hand, what is referred to as Western civilization in Bosnia is exemplified by Prince Eugene of Savoy, who burned Sarajevo to the ground. That's all there is to know about those two.

Telegram channels which are talking about Lebanon right now are having a schizo episode because they are hungry for views. Don't take anything at face value, especially not the ones talking about military movement. Go out for a walk, drink some tea, go to bed- wake up in the morning and then read the news. 🇱🇧

Hakim Murad: "I first visited Bosnia before going to university - I was one of those long-haired teenagers with back-packs who wander around Europe for no apparent reason. I remember how impressed I was at the age of 18, having spent a day in Belgrade, a city which I found to be of ntolerable greyness and ugly heaviness, waking up on a train near Zavidovici, and being startled by the verdant green of the hills, the yellow mounds of hay on the slopes, and the white minarets in the villages. It was like seeing a beautiful woman for the first time after leaving prison!
I visited Bosnia several times thereafter - I was in Sarajevo during the trial of Alija Izetbegovic and the others, and was able to bring some information to Amnesty International as a result. I spent time at the offices of Preporod and at the Gazi Husrev-begova Biblioteka. I was impressed by the conviviality of the three religious communities, which I took to be proof of the fact that religious toleration in its truest and most durable sense..."

Israel is not a country, it's just another star on the American flag. It can't protect itself and it cannot attack another country without the blessing of Wall Street and Washington.

After coffee ☕ thoughts:
The violent continent of Europe, after a brief period of stability, is descending back into the swamp from which it emerged. The coming decades will be marked by a demographic collapse that is essential for maintaining economic development and competitiveness. Therefore, many companies will (and have already) start leaving the continent in search of a younger and cheaper workforce. With those companies gone, the quality of life and the plundered wealth that the continent once enjoyed will vanish as well. The once-cheap but now expensive Russian resources, such as gas and oil, which Europe continues to buy from Russia despite claiming otherwise, will only accelerate this trend. Violence will also increase, and war between countries is guaranteed. The United States, once the strong pacifier of the continent, will come to treat Europe the same way it treats Sub-Saharan Africa: just another place for exploitation at the expense of ordinary citizens.
On the other hand, North Africa and the Middle East, which have a much healthier demographic above replacement levels and are rich in resources, will rise in power and prestige despite the stunts American corporate power and the IMF will take to subdue them. This will mean that Europe will revert to its natural state, one dependent on the Middle East, North Africa, and wider Asia. No black-shirt movements or swastika festivals will be able to change this fact; no resurrected ghosts of Hitler will be able to restore the importance of the continent.
