Non-controversial opinion 🗿:
Anyone who claims to believe in democracy must intrinsically have a strong dislike for the United States of America, for there is no country on Earth that has done more to undermine democracies on this planet.

Europe's Perućica Rainforest in Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the continent's last untouched forests, over 20,000 years old, with trees up to 300 years old and rare species like the Eurasian lynx. Hidden within it is the Skakavac Waterfall, nearly 100 meters high, making it a remarkable yet little-known natural wonder in Europe. 🇧🇦

One notable battle occurred in March 1995, when the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) launched an offensive to gain control of the mountain from the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS). The battle was intense, with difficult terrain, freezing temperatures, and challenging weather conditions complicating the movement and combat. Despite these obstacles, the ARBiH managed to capture key points on Vlašić, gaining a significant strategic advantage and boosting morale. The battles on Vlašić have since symbolized resilience and the struggle for control over vital territory during the Bosnian War. ✊

I recently came across an interview with Colonel Douglas MacGregor for LifeSiteNews, which is funded by a Canadian lobby group called "Campaign Life Coalition" and is fundamentally a hardcore Catholic right-wing propaganda outlet whose target audience is Canadian and is obviously very anti-Islam. You might have encountered this man regarding his commentary on Ukraine or Israel on self-proclaimed alternative media outlets. He describes himself as an "American Nationalist" who participated in the criminal destruction of our brotherly country, Iraq. He perfectly represents the Western default position towards Muslims.
In this interview, which I couldn't stomach watching entirely, he criticizes Neocon foreign policy and mentions Bosnia and Herzegovina, my country, which he visited. He spoke with its first president, Alija Izetbegovic, since he was part of the NATO intervention, which coincidentally occurred when Muslims started gaining the initiative in the Bosnian War. In those few minutes, you can sense the sheer disgust he has towards Bosniak Muslims. He literally calls Alija Izetbegovic a Turk and claims his real name is "Izer-Bey," stating that his ancestors came from Anatolia, despite the man obviously being Slavic. He also calls him annoying as he, the American imperialist (who has no clue about the region and confuses Brčko District with Kosovo), draws borders with his pencil.
This, my friend, in a nutshell, is the Western attitude towards Muslims everywhere. The irony is that he claims his views are supposed to be some kind of alternative to the Neocons, despite sharing the same loathing towards us that they do. I'll post the link to the interview in the comments.

This photo, taken in 1993 at Masan, Korea, shows K200s being loaded onto a RoRo car carrier bound for Malaysia. These vehicles would later serve with the Malaysian UNPROFOR contingent in Bosnia.

After coffee ☕ thoughts:
A common narrative heard in Europe about the Ottomans portrays them as a violent, expansionist force seeking to conquer the continent. These "Muhammedans" were seen as alien to the continent, against whom a united and devout Christendom had to defend itself—that's how the story goes. In reality, when one looks at the number of Ottoman military campaigns in Europe, one will see that there were around fourteen offensive campaigns and eighteen defensive campaigns, which points toward a contrary conclusion. This was a state that faced multiple European crusades waged by the Pope, which harbored armies from across Europe, going as far as France and Spain. Holy Leagues were formed against it, and rebellions within its territory were orchestrated and funded by European powers. This myth of violent, expansionist Muslims is entirely fictitious. It was actually Christendom that was incredibly violent.
