😃 One of the most annoying things I have encountered among Muslims who follow global politics—particularly those who strongly support the resistance axis—is their reliance on so-called alternative media, independent journalists, or political analysts (99% of whom, if not all, are non-Muslims from the West or currently living there) when discussing pressing issues of our Ummah, such as Sudan, Gaza, or Syria. The problem with all of them is that they completely misunderstood the situation in Syria. Every single one of these so-called intellectuals was caught off guard when Assad was removed, and not one of them can provide a coherent explanation for why it happened. Instead, they offer absurd explanations that make no sense, rather than being honest, apologizing, and refraining from commenting on Syria again.

The worst part is that, even after being proven completely wrong, they continue to make predictions to naive Muslims, saying things like, “This is the future that awaits Syria,” as if their earlier analyses weren’t entirely off about the power dynamics of the Middle East. Claims such as, “Syria is going to be balkanized,” “Syria will fall under Zionist rule,” “Syria will be dominated by NATO imperialists,” “Syria is under the Washington-Ankara alliance,” or “Palestine is doomed from now on,” along with panicked cries like, “Oh, the Christians!” reveal how disconnected they are from reality.

The majority of these individuals are ideologues and scammers who harm the Ummah while profiting from it. They exploit naive Muslims by asking for support on platforms like Rumble, Patreon, Odyssey, and BitChute. They request donations, sell their merchandise, push their books, and charge extra for “exclusive” content. Essentially, good-hearted people provide these deplorable individuals with their daily bread, and in return, they receive trash content with no accountability. Despite being paid to share their opinions, these individuals don’t even offer apologies for their repeated blunders. So you tell me, oh Muslim, these are your allies in the struggle against Israel? These are the people you trust? These are the people whom you get your news from?

The Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Meets with Distinguished Iranian Delegation 🇧🇦💡🇮🇷

The Grand Mufti (Reisul-ulema) of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a visit today from H.E. Seyyed Abolhasan Navvab, President of Iran’s University of Religions and Denominations, accompanied by H.E. Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, the Iranian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The University of Religions and Denominations, established in 2005, is the first Iranian university specializing in the study of religions and denominations, not only within Iran but globally. It is also among Iran’s largest private universities in terms of international student enrollment, with students from 30 countries.

Each year, the university organizes numerous short-term research programs in Arabic and English worldwide and has signed many cooperation agreements with various international universities.

H.E. Seyyed Abolhasan Navvab, one of the university's founders, also serves as the President of the Iran-Bosnia Friendship Association. During the meeting, discussions centered on issues of mutual interest among followers of different religions and explored ways to enhance interfaith cooperation.

The significance of these efforts for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s multi-religious society, as well as for the global community, was underscored. Both sides emphasized the value of exchanging experiences in this field to promote greater understanding and collaboration worldwide.

In the city of Kakanj in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a "Quran Night" has been organized on New Year's Eve for years.

Hafizes come from Bosnia, Turkey, and other countries; the Quran is recited, and hymns are sung. This evening, it will take place again.😊

In 1878, The Treaty of Berlin allowed Austria to occupy Bosnia. However Bosnia would not go quietly. The Austro-Hungarian army during the occupation campaign in Bosnia 1878 after 3 months had to send 250.000 soldiers to fully break the rebellion, the last time they had to use that much soldiers was during the Great Turkish War 1683-1699. 😃

A story that has been circulating on the Internet for a few days, and which I've been meaning to cover but haven't gotten around to, is this whole Dr. Sharif Hakmi statement about Shias. Truth be told, when I first saw these posts, I chuckled and dismissed them because I thought nobody would be crazy enough to show interest in such a story, and that the channels might only get around 200 views from it. But here we are.

This is a nothing-burger of a story, whose target audience is predominantly Shia Muslims from the Middle East who don't know much about Bosnia, except perhaps for what happened in the '90s. The entire point of such a post is to gain views on Telegram or X and to provoke people into overreacting. Shias in Bosnia are under no threat. In fact, there are barely any Shias in Bosnia; literally, you’re talking about a handful of people—significantly less than 1% of the population. The term "minority" is even too big for them, as many are diplomats or individuals residing in Bosnia for political or business reasons.

This also makes the statement from Dr. Sharif Hakmi even more bizarre. The man has been in Bosnia since the '80s and has commented on the war in Syria since it began, yet his alleged "takfiri" plans haven't worked out—because no sane Bosnian would attack a handful of people. That idea is borderline insane. To believe that some Syrian is going to make Bosniaks run around looking for Shias shows a complete misunderstanding of the Bosniak psyche. That's just crazy.

What this post really reveals is that Muslims in the Middle East and other parts of the world don't know much about Muslim history in Europe. Maybe they know a thing or two about Andalusia, but that's about it. If Muslims were more informed, the first reaction to this story would be: "There are Shias in Bosnia?!" I rest my case.😃

Aerial shot of bombs falling on Sarajevo, 9 August 1944. The bombardment was executed by the 301st Bomb Group belonging to the US Air Force. The 301st Bomb Group was a heavy group, mostly flying with four-engine bombers and targeting military objects and those belonging to the war industry.

Allied war bombardments, regardless of the nature of their sorties, had a devastating impact on civilian life and infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By some accounts, at least 2500 civilians were killed in Bosnia & Herzegovina by Allied bombardment. Cities such as Sarajevo, Mostar, Jajce and Bihać were hit numerous times in the last war years. Bihać, for example, was bombarded more than 50 times by the Allies during World War 2. 😃
