The HJ-8 ("Crvena Strijela") is the name of a Chinese second-generation anti-tank missile system that was introduced into operational use by the Chinese military in the late 1980s. However, this anti-tank system also began to be produced in Pakistan under the name Baktar-Shikan. The Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina used this system as an effective weapon against the modern M84 tanks of the Serbian aggressor. 🇧🇦🤝🇵🇰

“The men stretch out their hands against the flames, as if it were cold and winter, and as the shadows of their outspread fingers dance over their brown heads, they talk softly among themselves. About Bosnia, yonder far away…. About their cornfield, their wife and children, their ox.
And later still, when the night descends over the mountains and the starry sky above them makes the world infinite great and full of secrets, the stories of strange experiences in their lives are released, supernatural events in the past, memories of terrible hours in the trenches. Then at the Isonzo... then in Russia, in Poland, Galicia... Would this war ever end? Would they ever see their country, their village again?”
Quote by Johann Fabricius, “The War of the Tiny Horses”. Attached to BH2 on the Isonzo front.

🇧🇦 Bosnia to Investigate USAID Funds Use🇺🇸
Bosnia’s Finance Ministry is set to scrutinize the use of $402M in USAID funds allocated to the country between 2020 and 2024, after discovering an unexplained gap of $246.18M, Finance Minister Srđan Amidžić announced.
📉 According to the ministry, only $155.82M has been accounted for in realized projects, leaving a significant sum untraced.
🗣️ “We have no information or trace of where, on what, and by whom this money was spent,” Amidžić stated, raising concerns about potential misuse.
🔎 This comes after Richard Grenell amplified discussions on social media about USAID’s spending in Bosnia. Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently paused all U.S. foreign assistance via the State Department & USAID, following President Donald Trump’s executive order to reassess foreign aid.

MUSLIMS RAISED IT, MUSLIMS LIBERATED IT🇧🇦
For years, it was inconvenient to acknowledge that the 16th Muslim Brigade played a crucial role in the liberation of Sarajevo.
This brigade was formed in 1943 with the goal of mobilizing the Muslim population against occupation. It was part of the broader Partisan movement, fighting against the Axis powers and their collaborators.
On the night of April 5, 1945, as German forces withdrew, the 16th Muslim Brigade was the first unit to enter Sarajevo through the Vratnik Gate—without bloodshed. The city's residents welcomed them as liberators, recognizing their bravery and sacrifice.
However, in the years that followed, the communist authorities often downplayed or even erased the brigade’s role in the official historical narrative. The emphasis was shifted to a broader, more generalized Partisan victory, without recognizing the specific contributions of the brigade that first stepped into the city.
Muslims played a key role in both building and liberating Sarajevo.

According to data from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expatriates have sent up to 48.5 billion Bosnian marks over the past ten years. These funds, averaging 4.9 billion BAM annually, serve as a major source of support for many families while also having a significant impact on the country’s economy.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is among the top ten countries in the world most dependent on its diaspora. Unlike its neighboring countries, however, it remains the only state in the region that has yet to pass a law regulating its relationship with the diaspora.
While Bosnia and Herzegovina still lacks the necessary legal framework, its citizens abroad continue to send billions, sustaining the national economy.
Financial remittances account for approximately 10% of the country's GDP.

🇽🇰 Happy Independence Day, Kosovo! 🎉
Today, we celebrate February 17, the day Kosovo spread its wings of independence and took its place on the world stage, correcting the injustice that occurred during the Conference of London, where the imperialist powers of Europe tore the Albanians of Kosovo away from their homeland and subjected them to the rule of a foreign Orthodox king. Now, our brothers in Kosovo are free to determine their own place in the world, with their own flag and their own country.
The best and warmest wishes from Bosnia❤️
