📜 SHEIKH JUJO: A LEGACY OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM 📜

Mustafa Ejubović – Sheikh Jujo (1651–1707), one of the most distinguished Bosniak scholars, left an indelible mark on Islamic scholarship and the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His knowledge spanned multiple disciplines, including Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), tafsir, Arabic grammar, logic, and theology.

Born in Mostar, he pursued higher education in Istanbul, the intellectual heart of the Ottoman Empire. There, he studied under renowned scholars, spending years in libraries reading, copying, and systematizing knowledge. His passion for learning was so intense that he once said:
"Weeks would pass, and I would not have rested or slept enough."

Sheikh Jujo’s scholarship was widely recognized, and his works, particularly Miftahul-husul, brought him prestige in academic circles. However, despite his success in Istanbul, he returned to his hometown in 1692 after being invited to serve as the Mufti of Mostar. For 15 years, he issued legal rulings (fatwas), taught in madrasas, and guided the community in religious and intellectual matters.

His dedication to education and justice made him a revered figure, and his legacy remains alive through his students and the 27 known works he left behind. Though he had no direct descendants, his spiritual and intellectual heritage continues to inspire generations.

Sheikh Jujo passed away on the evening of 15th Rabi’ al-Thani 1119 AH (July 16, 1707). Even more than 300 years later, his contributions to knowledge and faith remain a guiding light.

Otto Kumm (1909-2004) was a German SS Brigadeführer and Generalmajor of the Waffen SS who first signed up for SS service in 1934. During his military career, he commanded SS Divisions Das Reich, LSSAH and Prinz Eugen. He was commander of Prinz Eugen for a year and part-took in numerous anti-Partisan operations in Bosnia. His division committed many atrocities and war crimes on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Yugoslavia. He was supposed to be extradited to Yugoslavia to stand for his crimes, but he escaped Dachau internment camp from the Americans. Until his death, he published a book “Vorwärtz, Prinz Eugen!” on the division Prinz Eugen and its activities in the Balkans, carefully avoiding the crimes they committed. He also was one of the co-founders of the HIAG, a post war organization which helped former SS members.

🇧🇦 Bosnia’s Federation Plans New Arms Factory in Cazin 🇧🇦

The Federation government has announced plans to build an arms factory in Cazin, citing its strategic location and capacity. However, no timeline has been disclosed.

A team from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry has assessed several locations, with Cazin chosen as the most suitable. PM Nermin Nikšić also revealed that two or three more military production sites are being considered within the Federation, and possibly another in the Una-Sana Canton.

The Federation already hosts major arms producers like Igman, Unis Ginex, Pretis, and Binas, all 51%-owned by the government. In 2024, Bosnia and Herzegovina exported 407 million BAM ($225.6M) in defense products, a 27.3% increase from the previous year. Arms exports now make up 2.5% of the country’s total exports.

Cazin, located in northwestern Bosnia near the Croatian border, is set to become a key player in the country’s growing defense industry.

🚨 Dodik Travels to Jerusalem: A Criminal Conference with Netanyahu 🇮🇱

At the invitation of Israeli authorities, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik will travel to Jerusalem to participate in the International Conference on Combating Anti-Semitism, scheduled for March 26-27 at the International Convention Center. The event is organized by Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and aims to bring together government officials, experts, and activists to discuss the "challenges of modern anti-Semitism" and its global impact.

At the same time, Dodik remains a highly controversial figure in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he continues to challenge state institutions. His actions have been widely criticized as attempts to destabilize BiH and challenge its sovereignty.

Denis Bećirović met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Istanbul, with FM Hakan Fidan also present.

🔹 Bećirović highlighted the serious threats to BiH’s constitutional order and the Dayton Agreement posed by Republika Srpska’s leadership.
🔹 He called for decisive action from BiH institutions & the international community to stop these attempts.
🔹 Erdoğan reaffirmed Turkey’s strong support for BiH’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic path.

🇧🇦 Dispelling Some Myths About Politics in Bosnia:

📍Bosnia does not have an issue with "Serb separatism." Rather, it has an issue with an oligarchy that exercises authoritarian control over Srpska and disguises itself in the colors of Serb separatism and nationalism.

📍 The oligarchy in the economically privatized entity of Srpska is not ideological in nature. While its rhetoric may sound nationalistic and inflammatory, in reality, the oligarchy fights only for itself and its own unaccountability within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📍 War is unlikely for the same reason the oligarchy exists in Srpska. After the entity was built through crimes of ethnic cleansing and genocide, the plundering continued. Today, the vast majority of companies in Srpska are privately owned—either by individuals whose names remain undisclosed or by Western corporations with ever-changing shareholders who sustain the oligarchy itself. The oligarchy of this privatized entity does not want war because it would threaten its monopolies and accumulated wealth.

📍The oligarchy in Srpska is not anti-Western; it is aligned with Western corporate greed. It does not oppose the Office of the High Representative (OHR) as long as the High Representative does not pressure it in any way. Many of the laws that the oligarchy in Srpska now calls "anti-Serb" or a "threat to its sovereignty" are laws that it itself voted into existence.

📍The ruling classes in Bosnia are not ideological by nature. Most ideological sentiments in the country are held by the working and middle classes.

📍Is there Islamophobia and a malicious hatred toward Muslims? It plays a role, but it is not the only factor. In some cases, hatred toward Muslims can even be profitable for one’s career—it's systemic.

Zukan Helez – Official Visit to Azerbaijan 🇦🇿

On the first day of my official visit to Azerbaijan, I met with President Ilham Aliyev and Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov. I informed them about the unconstitutional, separatist actions of the RS authorities led by Milorad Dodik.

After Željka Cvijanović recently spread misinformation in Azerbaijan, I was pleased to present the real situation. President Aliyev, understanding the parallels with Nagorno-Karabakh, expressed unconditional support for BiH’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity.

Secession will not succeed—BiH will remain whole! We will defend our country through legal and political means.

Additionally, I discussed strengthening economic and military cooperation. Azerbaijan’s resources offer great opportunities for BiH’s economic progress. With Minister Hasanov, I agreed on concrete steps to improve defense cooperation.

Tomorrow, I continue discussions with the Minister of Defense Industry to enhance collaboration in the defense sector.
