On This Day in 1971 the IRA murdered George Crozier, 23. British Soldier shot at observation post in Ardoyne. Paul Dacre wrote in the dailyexpressuk about his photo: “It was a haunting face. Young enough to be hopeful. Old enough to know better. A soft face hardened by reality”.
