THS 7316/7317 and 7374 video amplifiers. For another day.
This used to be 2,20€
This thing promises to be amazing.
Love how my 2018 scope can not only trigger on analoge video, but also a specific line
Since it's midnight already here, for now only a test circuit. Channel 1 (yellow trace) is the composite in, channel 2 (red) the composite sync, channel 3 (blue) the vertical sync, channel 4 (green) the odd / even field output. Works as expected.
Triggering on the vertical sync and zooming in, one can see how the composite sync is just that, a composite of both sync signals, and the composite video signal also includes the sync pulses.
Application A:
Separating H- and V-sync out of the composite sync to drive a monitor that can do 15.7kHz but needs RGB+HV.
Just AND the composite sync and V sync together and invert the result. Do not forget to use a buffer gate for V sync and to terminate all your outgoing and incoming transmission lines with 75 Ohms, or else the reflections will mess you up.
Yellow: composite sync, Purple: V sync, Blue: c&v, Green: ~(c&v) = h sync, directly at the transmission line, hence the low amplitude.

Mhhh this worked fine on my 1084S clone, but not on my multisync monitor, which this is meant for.
Hell is fixing mixing consoles
I finally snatched Crystal for a good price! Now, this has been battery modded before but the way it was done... Holy moly. The battery was just shoved in-between the lugs of the old one. No soldering done. Only held on by tape. Also, a CR2032 fits fine into the GBC shells.
