The guy who sold it to us was old and while I'm sure he knows his stuff, it does look like he had difficulties holding the iron steady
No dice. I found one bad resistor, one broken connection and a few capacitors that have not been replaced. Made a parts list for the next parts order. I'll have to recheck every connection, every part, test the tubes, and align it. So basically the whole program. Will be fun!
Second one has been worked on within this century! Interesting, so why is the case so dirty then and what's with the bomb?
The dial indicator is stuck on one of them because the bulb melted the plastics.... fun
