The first plane departed on June 14, the day after the conflict began, with the others following over the next two days. According to The Telegraph, the planes flew westward along northern China, crossed Kazakhstan, then headed south through Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan before vanishing from radar as they neared Iran. Each flight was officially logged as bound for Luxembourg, though the aircraft apparently never approached European airspace.
These "mysterious" flights have sparked concern in the West. Analysts believe China is determined to prevent the collapse of its strategic partner. If Iran were to fall, the resulting upheaval in the Middle East could harm Beijing’s economic interests. While China is not driven by political motivations in the region, its economic and energy stakes are significant — and increasingly demand action.
What China needs from Iran is simple: energy. Iran supplies China with about 2 million barrels of oil per day. Beijing does not recognize U.S. sanctions on Iran and purchases nearly 90% of Tehran’s oil exports. In March of this year, anticipating a new wave of sanctions, China ramped up imports — reportedly leading to a surplus of Iranian oil on the Chinese market. As a result, Iranian crude accounted for 13% of China’s total oil imports.

All applicants must have public social media accounts so the State Department can vet them for anti-Israel and “antisemitic” opinions.
Instead of a restriction on all foreign students that prioritizes native-born American students, only foreign students critical of Israel or Jews will be restricted.

🇮🇷🇮🇱⚡️NYT - Will Israel’s Interceptors Outlast Iran’s Missiles?
🔗 New York Times
Since Iran started retaliating against Israel’s fire last week, Israel’s world-leading air defense system has intercepted most incoming Iranian ballistic missiles, giving the Israeli Air Force more time to strike Iran without incurring major losses at home.
Now, as the war drags on, Israel is firing interceptors faster than it can produce them. That has raised questions within the Israeli security establishment about whether the country will run low on air defense missiles before Iran uses up its ballistic arsenal, according to eight current and former officials.
Already, Israel’s military has had to conserve its use of interceptors and is giving greater priority to the defense of densely populated areas and strategic infrastructure, according to the officials. Most spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak more freely.

🇺🇸🇮🇷📝 If you’re wondering why Trump keeps chickening out, besides the intricacies of his character, there is a reason all these stories about Iranian capabilities and declining Israeli IADS came out today.
The fact that Iranian missile launches are occurring during the daytime hours, when it would be easiest for the IDF to hunt down TELs, is very telling about all the claims of Israeli air superiority. If they actually had it, the Iranian strike tempo would not be increasing. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what this means, and the fact the U.S. and others are emptying out the bases closest to Iran likewise speaks volumes.
Under all the propaganda they’re spewing out, the truth remains about Iranian capabilities and their actions betray that.
