Forwarded from Filling Our Cups With Hope
Trusting God’s timing is a lesson I have learned through seasons of waiting and uncertainty. In those situations Ecclesiastes 3.1 has helped me remember that God is in control of the events in our lives and that his timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our expectations.
Trusting in God’s timing can often mean giving up our own desire for immediate results. Acknowledging God’s wisdom and sovereignty, we recognize he sees the bigger picture and knows what is best for us. When we trust in God’s timing, we let go of anxiety and practice patience, confident that he will fulfill his promises in his time.
God’s timing is marked by his faithfulness and love. He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28), even in times of delay or apparent silence. God’s timing prepares us, refines our character, and aligns circumstances for his glory and our ultimate good.
Looking back, I can see that God’s timing has brought blessings. In seasons of waiting God has taught me dependence on him, deepened my faith, and opened doors I had never imagined. Each situation has been a divine appointment, revealing his faithfulness and provision in unexpected ways.
If you find yourself discouraged by waiting, I urge you to rest in God’s promises and trust his timing. Seek his guidance through prayer and his Word, knowing that he is faithful to fulfill his plans for you at the appointed time.
Father, help us to trust your timing in every aspect of our lives. Amen ☕️

Testimony Tuesday
I love this testimony from this Korean Pastor.
He shares his story of how he encountered “Mr. Jesus.” All it took was for him to cry out to God. A god he didn’t know yet but he took the chance.
You ask yourself; “How did this man know to call out to God, when all he knew was Buddha? He was never taught about Jesus. And yet, he knew deep in his heart to cry out to Him. God Himself had ordained this young man’s heart at that time to call upon the God of the universe.
There is only one God that can fill the empty heart of man perfectly.
Watch this man’s powerful testimony on how he came to know Jesus Christ as his savior.

How many of you have unsaved family members?
Do you fear for them that they won’t make it to heaven?
The Word of God says to not fear, but yet we often have anxious thoughts about whether our loved ones will make it to heaven.
Listen to this woman’s prayer for this precious little boy who is anxious about his mother’s salvation. Watch his face transform during this woman’s prayer for him.
The enemy wants to stress you out by way of worry, doubt and anxious thoughts about our loved ones.
Whenever the enemy begins to poke you with fear and doubt. Rebuke, and claim the promises of God for that loved one. And receive the peace of God. Surrender those thoughts and surrender that family member to Jesus. Now, walk in faith and in victory knowing nothing is impossible with God.

Lily walked into the police dog auction with a small jar of coins clutched in her hands.
She wasn’t there to watch. She wasn’t there for fun.
She was there for Max — the retired police dog who had once served alongside her late mother, Officer Hannah Parker.
Since losing her mom, Lily had stopped speaking. Yet, she never forgot the lessons her mother left behind: love with all your heart, and never give up.
As the bidding started, the price quickly soared past $3,000. Lily quietly stepped forward and placed her offer — just $52.16, every cent she had saved.
The room fell silent. Some laughed softly at the tiny bid.
But then, Max barked, broke free from his handler, and ran straight to Lily. Without hesitation, he sat at her side, guarding her like he always had with her mother.
No one said a word. One by one, the bidders lowered their paddles.
They all knew — Max had already chosen his home.
That day, Lily walked out of the auction with more than a dog.
She walked out with a piece of her mother’s love, and Max walked out with his forever family.
Because some bonds can’t be measured in money — only in loyalty, devotion, and hope.

Let go of the need to be understood
Sometimes we just have to endure the loneliness of being set apart
God may be pulling you away from everything and everyone you thought you needed
You were built and chosen for this
Loneliness isn't the end of your story
It is the beginning
Don't fight it
God is preparing you
The pain of being rejected by those we swore would never leave our side hurts our very soul
Embrace it
You may feel alone but....
God is walking with you
Like so many before
Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery
The very ones you thought would support you.....walk away
Moses was rejected by his own people... people he was trying to free
Don't let their opinions define you
God called you
That's all you need to know

Testimony Tuesday
God is both mystery and majesty.
Sometimes He heals someone what seems perhaps for no good reason…this is majesty. And other times, there are people who have been praying for healing for years, and are yet to be healed…this is mystery.
Since when do we ever put God in a box of our own understanding? We shouldn’t.
He is outside of that.
Sometimes when a healing comes for someone there is just no explanation. It just comes. Sometimes it’s instant, and other times it’s done over time.
Sometimes God lets a situation get so bad only a miracle will do.
There are no formulas with God.
God desires intimacy, and an authentic heart, and faith to come before HIm, even if all we have is mustard seed size faith.
In the video below, this woman faced a dire situation. What did she do? She boldly approached God about her affliction.
She fell on her knees.
She turned her heart towards God.
She told Him how it was.
She was willing to accept His will for her life.
She picked up her Bible and read it.
This is what being humble before God looks like.
This is what belief looks like.
This is what surrender looks like.
This is what faith can look like.
This is what transformation is.
God did it. Glory to God!
And He can do it for you!
He is both mystery and majesty.
“… “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.””
Luke 22:42

Gold is refined in fire
Diamonds are made under pressure
Olive oil flows when the olive is crushed
What is inside of you is revealed the same way
All the strength in you cannot be drawn out when you are comfortable
When we have nothing else but God and prayer
When life has driven us to our knees
When earthly things fail and we feel squeezed, under pressure, refined
We can look back and say God used all the bad for our good
The heartaches, tears and losses were working for us
What you felt as rejection
Was actually protection
It was all preparation
What we think is the end
Is only the beginning
God is good
