I was thinking of planting the seeds I have but I usually germinate them using a damp paper towel in a plastic bag left in the sun, however I've noticed that it can cause significant damage to the plant pulling its roots from the paper towel and if I don't pull it off it stunts the plants early growth significantly

Also the carrots I started to grow immediately died when I planted them, I'm going to get a PH kit to test the soil as my dad dumped literally all the ash from our fireplace into the planting boxes I have

Fun fact I made the planting boxes without measuring in an hour

Okay I think I did measure once but I used the cut planks as a reference for cutting the other planks

I have an oculus quest 2 but it's so old now and it seems so cumbersome in comparison to modern systems, my pc is also 10 years old which might be more of an issue for playing VR in the future

Wow a stray onion plant survived the winter, I mean it would be easy for plants to do that here but I've only thrown away plants that I thought were dead for sure, it was in the same pot that I think a mint plant was in, I replanted it quickly and I watered it, I'm ordering a PH testing kit for the soil today, also the soil looks a bit low I wonder if I can steal some from a nearby river just not sure if the levels of tannins may be too much
