Family, Love, and Fidelity Day
🇷🇺 The all-Russian holiday on July 8th originated thanks to the Murom Prince Peter and his wife Fevronia, who lived in the 13th century.
👨👩👧👦 Peter and Fevronia became examples of marital fidelity, mutual love, and family happiness even during their lifetime.
📖 According to the legend, they died on the same day - June 25th (by the new style - July 8) in the year 1228. Their bodies, buried in different places, miraculously were found in the same coffin, which was considered a miracle.
