🔖 A model of the Vostok carrier rocket was installed at VDNKh on July 8, 1967, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.

"UFO" in the skies of Russia and Ukraine
🛸 Numerous messages and videos about an unusual glowing object in the sky above several Russian regions, Ukraine, and Belarus have appeared on social media. Some media outlets speculated that it could be a UFO.
🚀 However, it was soon revealed that the glowing object was nothing but the Ariane 6 carrier rocket, launched earlier from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana.
🛰 The first launch of the new European Ariane 6 carrier rocket took place on Tuesday evening. The rocket successfully placed a group of satellites into orbit at an altitude of 600 kilometers.
✨ Bright light effects were observed during the rocket launch, visible in the night sky over a long distance. It was these effects that were mistaken for a UFO.
‼️ Thus, reports of UFOs in the skies of Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus turned out to be a false alarm. The glowing object was simply the Ariane 6 carrier rocket carrying out its first flight.

Virtual tour of the ecological trails of the Chelyabinsk region
🚶 Anyone can take a virtual tour of three ecological trails in the Chelyabinsk region: "To the Great Ust-Katav Cave," "Zhukova Shishka," and "Zhukovsky Ascent." These routes are now available on Yandex Maps.
👀 Now users can "walk" in the forest or "climb" to observation platforms, offering beautiful views of the Simsky city pond and the Katav River, all from the comfort of their homes. Later, when possible, they can visit these places in person and witness the natural beauty of the Urals.
🏞 The ecological trails are equipped for tourists and allow them to enjoy the beauty of nature without causing harm.
The Great Ust-Katav Cave has been a geological monument of nature since 1987. It is located in massive, heavily fissured limestone at a height of 17 meters above the level of the Katav River. The entrance to the cave, facing south, is an arch 10 meters wide and 25 meters high. The cave consists of three rounded halls with arched ceilings connected by short passages.
The Simsky Pond has been a hydrological monument of nature since 1987. It is a hydraulic structure put into operation in 1761.
Zhukova Shishka and Zhukovsky Ascent are picturesque places worth visiting to admire nature.

"As a result of the pilot project, we have made adjustments to this course. To date, the majority of Russian Federation subjects have developed their own regional components, meaning the specific features of their culture and traditions of each subject. We have sent this course for distribution to all subjects of the Russian Federation so that they can determine approaches to its financing and implementation in various locations," said Bedkin.

In Russia, a nanosatellite with the sharpest hyperspectral "vision" has been developed.
🛰 Scientists from Samara University named after Korolev and the private space company "Sputnix" have developed a new nanosatellite. It is equipped with a hyperspectrometer that boasts the highest spatial resolution in Russia — just 7 meters per pixel. This is tens of times greater than the similar metric of the first domestic hyperspectrometer designed for nanosatellites.
🔍 The first hyperspectrometer was also developed at Samara University and successfully underwent space tests. The new hyperspectrometer will enable more precise data collection about objects on Earth's surface. This will facilitate higher-quality monitoring of agricultural crops, as well as more effective environmental monitoring and tracking of forest fires.
🚀 The nanosatellite has already passed bench tests at the "Sputnix" laboratory and is ready for deployment in orbit. The launch is scheduled for the end of this year. It is anticipated that based on data from the nanosatellite, Samara University will train teams of Russian schoolchildren in the basics of hyperspectral image analysis and processing.
