🇷🇺 One of the seven wonders of Ufa

🗓 On November 16, 2007, a new monument appeared on Oktyabr Avenue in Ufa - a monument to a street cleaner.

🔖 The author of the 300-kilogram bronze sculpture was Khalit Galiullin. It took him two months to create the sculpture, and the work was done in the city of Zhukovsky.

🗣 Khalit said that when creating the monument, he was not inspired by any specific person. It is a collective image that reflects the work of all street cleaners.

🧹 The author himself is no stranger to this work, as he also worked as a street cleaner during his student years.

📍 Address: 4 Oktyabr Avenue, Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia

🚀 The first manned spacecraft was the Soviet "Vostok-1" in 1961.

🧐 Originally, the flight was supposed to be fully automatic. However, the astronaut had instruments at his disposal that allowed manual control to be activated after opening an envelope with a digital code.

🔖 In reality, manned spaceflight is still a relatively relative concept. Nowadays, astronauts monitor the course of the flight and the condition of the spacecraft, intervening only when necessary, such as for manual docking or landing.

🇷🇺 Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairperson of the Federation Council, has stated the need for reforming the World Trade Organization (WTO) to restore the full functioning of all its bodies.

📰 This statement was made during a speech at a plenary session dedicated to the role of parliaments in countering the fragmentation of the multilateral trading system and overcoming threats associated with the consequences of global crises.

💬 According to the Speaker of the Federation Council, the role of BRICS in the global economy and trade is constantly growing. The share of BRICS in the global GDP has increased to 36 percent, and in the world's population to 46 percent. This increases both the responsibility of the union and the opportunities for creating an open, fair, and non-discriminatory multilateral trading system, in which the World Trade Organization will play a central role.

📉 The Chairperson of the upper house of the Russian parliament noted that the World Trade Organization is experiencing the most serious crisis in its history. This crisis is linked to the effective paralysis of multilateral negotiations, mutual claims by member countries regarding compliance with obligations, and fundamental disagreements on issues related to global trade development.

🇷🇺 The small Russian town of Chekalin slightly exceeds Verkhoyansk in population - it has only 935 residents.

✍️ Founded during the reign of Ivan the Terrible, the town was named Likhvin and served defensive functions - it was surrounded by a powerful oak wall with towers.

🏠 By the end of the 19th century, Likhvin had over 250 houses, several churches, a hospital, and three schools. Some of the ancient city buildings have survived to this day.

❗️In 1944, Likhvin was renamed Chekalin. The new name was given in honor of Alexander Chekalin, a teenage partisan executed by the fascists.

In the wild north...❄️

🔖The noscript of the painting comes from the first line of the poem by Mikhail Lermontov, a Russian poet.

In the wild north stands alone
On a bare summit is a pine tree,
It dozes, swaying, and with powdery snow
Clad, like in a costume, it is.

📝The premiere of the painting took place in 1891, at the XIX Mobile Exhibition. It is part of the collection of the Kiev Art Gallery (a black and white sketch from 1890 is kept in the Tretyakov Gallery).

😮An interesting fact about the creation of the painting. In the memoirs of Alexandra Komarova, Shishkin's niece, there are a few lines: "For the winter pictures of that year, Ivan Ivanovich traveled several times to Meri-Khovi to observe the snow and winter, and Vishnyakov took photos for him there."

In Russia, the first experiment on labeling canned goods in the open ocean was conducted

🎣 The experiment on labeling natural canned fish took place on the fish cannery floating base "Vsevolod Sibirtsev" in the Pacific Ocean. The peculiarity of canned goods production on a ship is that from the fish catch to the release of the finished product, no more than three hours pass. The floating base "Vsevolod Sibirtsev" is located in a fishing area, which allows for the prompt delivery of the catch to the production site and preserving the maximum useful properties of the fish.

✔️Conducting the experiment in open sea complicates the labeling task, however, the technological lines are identical to those in onshore plants, and there were no difficulties in transferring information to the "Honest Mark" system.

🐟Natural fish canned goods were labeled on automatic lines at a speed of 25 thousand pieces per hour, and no defects were found in any of them. This indicates that labeling does not reduce the productivity of the lines. Such a result was achieved thanks to the responsible approach of the specialists.

"Honest Mark" is a product quality monitoring system that allows tracking the product from the manufacturer to the end consumer.
