📰🇿🇲 🇷🇺 A volunteer camp is being held in Zambia from August 4 to 14, with the participation of 11 volunteers from Russia.

🕊️ In the Kalingalinga compound, located in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, volunteers from different countries are gathering for the second time to dedicate their lives to helping Zambian girls with their education and general development over a period of ten days.

💪 The assistance is provided within the framework of the Zambian non-profit organization Women Empowerment and Development Community. It was established in 2021 by Yanina Dubeikovskaya, a philosopher, philanthropist and entrepreneur who lived in this African country for four years and is now a member of the working group on humanitarian cooperation under the Expert Council on Development and Support of Comprehensive Partnership with African Countries under the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

❤️ To date, more than 100 girls are under the patronage of this organization, who study mathematics and natural sciences for a year (within the framework of a free Sunday school), and are also actively engaged in creative activities.

🎓 The "Parent-Angels" program is in operation, with individuals and families providing targeted support for the development of a particular girl by paying for her education in a comprehensive school.

💰 Today, 78 girls receive scholarships from the fund.

✔️ The goal of the work is to provide girls from the poorest families with the opportunity to receive an education, as well as to form standards of thinking and creativity and develop communication skills.

📆 The volunteer camp is held once a year and is attended by volunteers from different countries of the world, including 11 of our compatriots, who are currently helping African children in every possible way)

⚡️ Rosatom and Burkina Faso agree on construction of nuclear power plant!

📰🇷🇺🇧🇫 Negotiations were held in Ouagadougou between representatives of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and Burkina Faso's Minister of Energy, Yacouba Zerbo Gnou.

📌 During the meeting, Minister Zerbo Gnou stressed that energy is a key factor that can provide the country with real sovereignty.

"Energy is a lever with which the country can gain real sovereignty," the minister said.

2️⃣ The minister also noted that the project is already in the final stages of preparation, and only two steps remain before the start of construction: signing an intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Burkina Faso, and approving a technical proposal that will determine the parameters of the future power plant.

⚡️📰 Russian fertilizer supplies to African countries have doubled in five years

"Over the past five years, Russia has more than doubled its supplies of mineral fertilizers to African countries, from 772,000 tons in physical weight in 2018 to 1.7 million tons in 2023," said Kuznetsov, Executive Director of the Russian Fertilizer Producers Association, at a roundtable with journalists from leading African media outlets.

🌲 🇷🇺 In addition to increasing supplies, Russian fertilizer producers are expanding their product range. Companies are creating new brands of fertilizers specifically for African countries, due to the increased acidity of local soils.

📈 Russian producers aim to expand cooperation with partners from Africa, taking into account the urgent need for countries on the continent to increase agricultural production.

⚡️ Russian tractors to Africa!

📰🇷🇺🚜 A unique excursion for foreign journalists from Africa was held at the Kirov Plant in St. Petersburg, where they were shown the latest samples of agricultural machinery. The excursion was conducted by Egor Skripkin, Head of Production Development Department.

"Sales of Kirovets machinery to the African region were to Ethiopia, Libya, Kenya, Uganda and South Africa. Negotiations are currently underway for deliveries to Egypt and Nigeria. Petersburg Tractor Plant is interested in expanding cooperation and is in search of partners in the region," notes Georgy Pertenava, Head of Sales Department of Petersburg Tractor Plant.

🚌📸 Next, the delegation headed to the Tauras-Phoenix and Tauras-Plast plants. These companies are among the largest in St. Petersburg, specializing in the production of plastic products and packaging. A special tour of the enterprises was organized for the guests.

⚡️Moscow Region will open a new site BRICS House!

📰🇷🇺😀 On August 28, the BRICS House will be opened in the restored old estate of the Obolensky princes in the Dmitrovsky district of Moscow Region. This significant event will mark the creation of a central platform for business and humanitarian cooperation with BRICS member countries.

🌎 The BRICS House will become a venue for international festivals, conferences, exhibitions and presentations aimed at strengthening ties between the members of the organization.
