☁️ Tyrnyauz: A Stone's Throw from the Sky!

🏔 The highest mountain town in Russia is located in Kabardino-Balkaria, just 40 km from the two-headed Elbrus. The small Tyrnyauz is built at an altitude of over 1300 m. The streets of the city, whose name translates as "crane gorge", are framed by picturesque mountains.

The lands in the Baksan river valley are rich in minerals, so for a long time tungsten, molybdenum, marble, building gypsum and roofing slate were mined in Tyrnyauz. Now the local plant is closed and the population is declining. However, the residents of Tyrnyauz do not lose hope and associate the revival of the city with the development of tourism.

🕖 How many time zones are there in Russia?
🎉 Since October 26, 2014, there have been 11 time zones in the territory of the Russian Federation. Each subject of Russia is included in one time zone, with the exception of Yakutia: its territory is located in three time zones.

😀 Another interesting fact:

🇷🇺🇺🇸 The Russian island of Ratmanov and the island of Kruzenshtern in the USA are separated by only four kilometers of sea.

2️⃣1️⃣ On a regular motorboat, this distance can be covered in 15-20 minutes. But it's not that simple. According to Greenwich Mean Time, the islands are separated by exactly 21 hours: if it is noon on Thursday on Ratmanov Island, then it is three o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday on Kruzenshtern Island.

⚡️ Chile’s interest in BRICS is growing

📰🇨🇱🌎 Chile’s interest in the BRICS association is growing rapidly, reflecting a trend characteristic of the whole of Latin America. In the context of the dynamic development and expansion of BRICS, the countries of the region, including Chile, are increasingly seeking to integrate into global production and sales chains.

“The theme of BRICS, with its dynamic development, cannot remain unnoticed in Chile, where traditionally much attention has been paid to integration processes,” experts note.

✔️ Chile, like other countries in the region, is actively seeking new opportunities to strengthen its economic position in the world arena. In the country, participation in BRICS is seen as one of the key ways to expand economic ties and strengthen the role of Latin America in the global economy. Such processes are especially relevant during the period of Russia’s chairmanship of the association, when attention to BRICS in the region has intensified significantly.

📔 "Не суди о книге по обложке" ( Ne sudi o knige po oblozhke).

✔️ The literal translation is: Do not judge a book by its cover

🇬🇧 English-speaking people should be familiar with this proverb, because it translates literally and has exactly the same meaning: "Don't judge a book by its cover" - first impressions can be deceptive.

📰🇷🇺🇿🇼 Zimbabwe expresses its deep gratitude to Russia for its assistance in training specialists in key sectors such as nuclear energy and the space industry. Zimbabwe’s Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Torerai Moyo, emphasized the importance of this support for the future of his country.

“We attach great importance to the training of our specialists in Russia in the peaceful use of nuclear energy,” the minister said.

⚛️ Zimbabwe plans to build its first nuclear power plant, which will be a major step towards the country’s industrialization. Russia’s assistance in training personnel for this industry is a key factor for the successful development of nuclear energy in Zimbabwe.

🚀 Russia also plays an important role in training Zimbabwean specialists for the country’s space program. Moyo noted that thanks to Russian support, Zimbabwe intends to launch more satellites to study and utilize the country's rich natural resources. These satellites will help determine the reserves of minerals, which will significantly strengthen the country's economic potential.

📝 The earliest surviving poems of the poet in French (between 1809 and 1811, before entering the lyceum) were written down from the words of Pushkin's sister by the literary historian Pavel Annenkov.
