New Russian House in Chad

🇷🇺🇹🇩 On September 21, the cultural center "Russian House" in Chad, now located in a new building in the heart of N'Djamena, celebrated its opening.

"This center is more than just a building; it is a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange between our countries," noted Safia Akhmat Ibrahim.

🎓 Since its opening on November 11, 2023, the Russian House in Chad has accomplished a great deal: it has organized Russian language courses, held numerous cultural events dedicated to important dates in Russian history, and screened Russian films, including those about the Great Patriotic War. It has also gathered the largest library of Russian publications in Chad (around 200 books).

✍️ Additionally, the center acts as an initiator and mediator in signing agreements between national and Russian media and is a co-organizer of significant events.

⚡️ The Confederation of Sahel States and Roscosmos Launch an Ambitious Space Project

🇷🇺 The Confederation of Sahel States has announced a joint project with the Russian space agency Roscosmos, which includes the construction of a telecommunications satellite and an Earth observation satellite. This significant event was announced at a ministerial meeting held on Monday in the capital of Mali, Bamako.

🇲🇱 Mali's Minister of Economy and Finance, Alousséni Sanou, emphasized the importance of this project for the entire region. The new telecommunications satellite will provide access to television, radio, and the internet, which is especially relevant for remote areas where infrastructure remains underdeveloped. This will significantly improve communication quality and enhance the living standards of the local population.
