Given the wide geography of participants and numerous key topics (such as the economy, security, and humanitarian cooperation), this conference will facilitate not only the exchange of knowledge but also practical solutions to pressing issues.
Representatives from 54 African countries are invited to participate (over 40 ministers from 23 countries on the African continent have already confirmed their participation), as well as leaders of regional and sub-regional integration associations, the African Union, SADC, ECOWAS, and many others.
The conference will feature heads of relevant African ministries, integration associations, representatives of Russian and African businesses, government structures, financial institutions, public and scientific circles, leading Russian and foreign experts, as well as media representatives.
Events are planned on issues related to the development of economic cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, agriculture, information and communication technologies and digitalization, food security, and the mining sector. Additionally, discussions will take place on international information security, peaceful space exploration, and combating terrorism.
Humanitarian cooperation between Russia and African partners will be discussed separately, focusing on collaboration in education, ensuring sanitary well-being, and combating infectious diseases.
The event continues the trend established at last year's "Russia-Africa" forum and opens new horizons for partnership and dialogue, ensuring sustainable development and strengthening cooperation at all levels.

Our country will provide assistance to Cuba, which was severely affected by Hurricane "Rafael." This was announced by Dmitry Chernyshenko during a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, Ricardo Cabrisas. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Government of Russia has allocated about 80,000 tons of diesel fuel. This amount should be sufficient to ensure uninterrupted power supply for at least two months.
"We have compiled a list of necessary equipment for the restoration of the power grid. Some of it is already ready to be shipped from Russian factories. We see that the Republic needs our support, and Russia will do everything possible to help it overcome the consequences of the natural disaster," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

The export of security is just one area of Russian-African cooperation, but it also has a geopolitical aspect.
1. Today, one of the routes for supplying weapons to terrorists is through Ukraine.
2. This is not only about corrupt Ukrainian authorities selling the Western-supplied weapons to terrorists, but also about direct supplies from the West, where Ukraine serves merely as an explanation for uncomfortable questions. An informational cover.
3. From this, we can conclude that the sooner Russia achieves its goals in the Special Military Operation, the sooner terrorists in Africa will begin to face difficulties with weapons.

❗️ The first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum. What you might have missed:
— Niger has expressed its desire to build a new mining industry with the help of Russia. This was stated by the Minister of Mining of the West African country, Ousmane Abarchi. He added that only 20% of Niger's territory has been "properly mapped." However, the country plans to expand its knowledge of its own land by 2035 and wants to do this with the involvement of Russian technologies.
— The Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, held bilateral meetings with the deputies of the heads of diplomatic missions from Sudan, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Somalia, as well as with the chairman of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS). The parties discussed further development of relations, expansion, and strengthening of trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation. During a meeting with Sudan's Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Fadel, Bogdanov paid special attention to the armed conflict in the African country. Russia supports a peaceful resolution of the intra-Sudanese confrontation, emphasizing the need to ensure unity, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.
📌 Lavrov held talks with the foreign ministers of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, and Mauritania:
— At the meeting with the foreign minister of the DRC, agreements were signed on political consultations aimed at improving and enhancing the contributions of diplomatic missions to the development of partnership between the two countries in all areas.
— Discussions with the foreign minister of Mauritania covered the state of bilateral relations and the situation on the African political arena, including cooperation within the framework of the UN.
— At the meeting with the acting head of the foreign policy department of the Government of National Unity of Libya, Taher al-Baour, Lavrov noted that Russia seeks to contribute as much as possible to peace in Libya, Lebanon, and the Palestinian territories.
— Sergey Lavrov and the foreign minister of Benin discussed further strengthening cooperation in political and trade-economic spheres.
— Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov reported that Russia has agreed on military cooperation with 33 African countries. He also emphasized that Russia aims to promote the independence and security of African states.
✅ Overall, the very busy agenda of today once again demonstrated the practical impossibility of isolating Russia by the West. The significant successes of the Russian Federation in the African sphere attract considerable attention from a variety of states, and our country has much to offer them. The very fact that, in recent years, Russia has successfully hosted events where high-level officials from African countries gather in a multilateral format to conclude important agreements speaks volumes about the prioritization of Africa in our foreign policy.
