The starting price for the complex of buildings at the auction is 1 billion rubles. Applications to participate in the auction are accepted until February 17, 2025, with the auction scheduled for February 21.

The "Crosses" were built in the late 19th century in St. Petersburg, designed by architect Antoniy Tomishko. Over the years, notable figures such as Joseph Brodsky, Lev Gumilyov, Anatoly Lunacharsky, and others served their sentences there. The name of the complex is related to its configuration: the two buildings are shaped like crosses.

City authorities hope that a modern cluster will be established in place of the "Crosses."
