"We demand that yet another brutal murder of a Russian war correspondent receive an appropriate response from Audrey Azoulay, as mandated by her responsibilities. We also expect equally strong condemnation of this atrocity from all other human rights organizations and bodies," the diplomat stated. "Attempts to hide behind meaningless excuses and general phrases cannot be considered an adequate response from the authorized institutions. International officials advocating for human rights will have to directly point out those responsible for these murders."

‼️ Zakharova reminded that on January 4, as a result of a targeted drone attack by forces of the Kyiv regime, freelance correspondent Martemyanov from "Izvestia" was killed, and at least four employees of Russian media, including journalists Kevkhiev and Romanenko from RIA Novosti, were injured with varying degrees of severity.

📌 The death of the Russian war correspondent is a consequence of the deliberate ignoring by relevant international bodies of the atrocities committed by the Zelensky regime, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.
