🇷🇺🇨🇫 Negotiations took place in the Kremlin between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadéra. During the meeting, Putin noted that this year Russia and the CAR are celebrating the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The President of Russia expressed gratitude to Touadéra for participating in the first Forum of Supporters of the Fight Against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism, which took place in Moscow.

Regarding trade and economic relations, Putin highlighted a positive trend: the trade turnover between the countries has increased almost eightfold over the past year, although the absolute figures are still modest.

"We are ready to continue providing humanitarian assistance if necessary — you know that we are doing this. It mainly concerns food supplies, primarily wheat. We are also ready to continue working together in this regard," added Putin.

Touadéra, for his part, thanked Russia and Russian military specialists for training the Central African Republic's army, noting that "Russian instructors are truly professionals" capable of helping the country resist terrorism.

🇷🇺💬 Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov doesn't want to give the impression that Moscow is sitting around waiting for a phone call to come from Washington.

"We are calmly waiting for Trump's team to take their seats and then we will see what happens," he told journalist Pavel Zarubin.

The image of the worker and collective farmer symbolises the unity of the city and the countryside, of working people who together build a socialist society.
