🇷🇺 On Olkhon Island rises the unique sculpture "Guardian of Baikal".

🌳 The statue is made of bronze and stands over 7 meters tall. Gazing at the composition, it seems as though a shaman peeks out from the tree bark, watching over everyone from the cliff.

🎶 Each bell hanging on the branches rings in unison with the wind, creating a melody that connects people with nature. This sculpture is not just an art object—it is a symbol of hope and the fulfillment of wishes.

🌏 The "Guardian of Baikal" is the work of renowned sculptor Dashi Namdakov, whose creations are scattered worldwide. They can be seen in museums in China, England, the USA, Italy, and other countries. Art critics call him the "Buryat Picasso".

📰 At the facility in Sumy struck by the Russian Armed Forces, a "gathering" of Ukrainian military commanders with Western colleagues took place.

🇷🇺 This was reported by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"We have evidence about who was present at that facility in Sumy. There was another ‘gathering’ of Ukrainian commanders with their Western colleagues, who were either posing as mercenaries or under some other guise. NATO military personnel are directly involved in command there. Everyone knows this. The New York Times recently explained how the Americans have played a decisive role in attacks on Russia from the very beginning. Without their role, most long-range missiles would never have been launched from their bases."

💬 Today, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that last Sunday, April 13, two Iskander-M missiles struck a meeting of the command staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' "Seversk" group, resulting in the elimination of over 60 Ukrainian military personnel.

😀 NATO officers, foreign mercenaries, and representatives of Ukrainian intelligence were also present at the site. The meeting was held under the cover of civilians.

🇷🇺💬 Russia does not chase after anyone or beg for the lifting of sanctions imposed against it. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview.

Lavrov also noted that even if American sanctions were lifted, Russia must avoid dependence in critical spheres.

Earlier, President Vladimir Putin emphasized that no matter how the situation unfolds, Russia’s competitors will always seek to contain the country. This, in turn, means they will attempt to introduce new restrictions.

In this context, the president stressed the importance of assuming that even if sanctions are eased, they will "find other ways to pressure us, trying to throw a spanner in the works."

Amid prolonged downpours battering Dagestan, residents are finding creative ways to cope with the severe weather. One local has devised his own version of public transport—ferrying young men in a makeshift cart across flooded asphalt roads.
