On the evening of April 16, the Russian President met in the Kremlin with Alexander Trufanov, a dual citizen of Israel and Russia, who was released from captivity in Gaza, along with his mother and fiancée.
“Trufanov’s release was made possible by Russia’s stable, long-standing relations with the Palestinian people,” the Russian President noted.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar and Alexander Boroda, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia (FEOR).

After recent statements by the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, who is known for her Russophobic rhetoric, words about closing the way to the EU to those candidates who will go to the Victory Parade in Moscow on 9 May have taken on concrete shape.
For Serbia, closeness with Russia is not only a matter of historical continuity, but also an opportunity to avoid total dependence on the NATO and EU states surrounding it.
🌏 More than 20 heads of state and government will come to Moscow for the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day. Official invitations have been accepted by President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Xi Jinping of China, Prime Minister Robert Fitzo of Slovakia, President Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil, Milorad Dodik, head of the Republika Srpska within Bosnia and Herzegovina, and others.
The idea of a common political space will cease to exist in principle.
Even a blind man will see that all attempts to isolate Russia have failed completely. Even in the "backyard" of the Western world.

Over 40,500 summer camps will host approximately 6 million Russian schoolchildren this year. A unified digital platform to monitor summer children's vacations will launch on June 1, announced Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Additionally, as instructed by the Russian President, information-analytical dashboards will be introduced by 2025 to track the progress of the health campaign.
"This is a unified digital platform consolidating key data: camp occupancy, fulfillment of quotas for children with disabilities, compliance with safety standards, financial accounting, and more. I urge the Ministry of Education to launch this tool nationwide starting June 1," Chernyshenko stated.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that last year, around 165,000 children of participants in the Special Military Operation (SVO) vacationed in these camps.

In the conditions of permafrost and solitude, it was crucial not to lose one’s humanity.
📆 This year marks 30 years since the unique expedition to the North Pole that no one has ever replicated.
🇷🇺 🇨🇦 Russian Mikhail Malakhov and Canadian Richard Weber skied from Canada’s Ward Hunt Island to the North Pole and back, traversing polar ice drifting with ocean currents.
The expedition lasted 123 days: they meticulously calculated their food rations and selected gear to survive the cold and wind.
The Russian was a physician, and the Canadian was an engineer—this combination of professions also contributed to their success.
💪 They journeyed alone, without air support, dog sleds, phones, or communication, relying solely on mental fortitude and physical endurance… and achieved a true feat of heroism.
