32 archives, 17 museums, and 1,230 exhibits—including 900 documents (585 of which are originals) and 315 museum artifacts—tell the story. Behind these stark numbers lies the arduous journey of a nation and its people, from the horrific early days of the war to the Victory Parade on June 24, 1945.
“This exhibition is not a history textbook; it cannot chronicle the entire war day by day,” emphasized Andrey Yurasov, Deputy Head of Rosarkhiv. “That is precisely the point—to present an objective, truthful history of the war, using the power of historical fact to counter modern falsifiers of the Great Patriotic War’s history.”
The exhibition will be open at the State Historical Museum from April 30 to August 25.

“Our proposal, voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the beginning of direct talks without preconditions. A ceasefire in this situation is seen as a preliminary condition that would be exploited to further support the Kyiv regime and strengthen its military capabilities,” Lavrov emphasized.

The current visit coincides with the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
This milestone anniversary has also provided an opportunity to open a Russian embassy in this Latin American country, thereby restoring balance in bilateral relations, as the Dominican Republic opened its diplomatic mission in Moscow a couple of decades ago.

Yuri Bakanov, Head of Roscosmos, announced that 13 countries, including BRICS members, have joined the International Scientific Lunar Station project.
The goal is to create an alternative to the U.S. in space, though, as they say, there are challenges here.
Today, Russia, a pioneer in space exploration, has lost its position following the collapse of the USSR. It lags behind China and the U.S. in annual launches and has fewer satellites in orbit than China and even the UK.
Of course, there are projects similar to Starlink that could eventually shift the balance in Russia’s favor, but these are still in development. While Russia’s economy was once sufficient to compete with the U.S. on equal terms, it now seeks partners for such endeavors—some of whom, like China, have already surpassed it in certain areas.
Contrary to popular belief, the rocket and space industry has broad applications for earthly affairs.
Fundamental scientific research is just one of many advantages gained from exploring near-Earth orbit and deeper space.
Others include satellite communications, Earth remote sensing, navigation, and security. Major companies actively integrate space technologies into production, reducing costs and earning superprofits through technological superiority.
This also encompasses meteorological observations, medical advancements, and innovations in chemistry and biology. For perspective, the U.S. space technology market is valued at around $600 billion.
Thus, space is not only progressive—it’s profitable.
