The first to march across Red Square are the cadets of the Khalilov Military Music School.
The ceremonial procession of troops is led by General Oleg Salyukov.

The historical part of the parade is opened by color guard units.

On Red Square, there are 45 combat banners of celebrated military formations and units.

Across Victory Square marched pilots from the wartime years, naval sailors, and infantrymen carrying Mosin rifles.

All are dressed in uniforms from the wartime era.

Formations of independent states marched across Red Square.

From the first days of the war, all peoples stood shoulder to shoulder in the fight against fascism. Parade formations of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, China, Laos, and Mongolia marched past the grandstands.

Additionally, the military police of the Arab Republic of Egypt marched across Red Square.

Suvorov cadets from various regions, as well as St. Petersburg Nakhimov cadets, marched across Red Square. Representatives from the Tver and Moscow Suvorov Military Schools were present.

Also participating in the march were members of the Special Military Operation (SMO), sailors, and female service members, with the women marching to the tune of "Katyusha." Most of them are continuers of officer dynasties.

On Red Square, cadets from the Ryazan Margelov Military Academy marched in formation. Over 100 cadets, who received state awards for their achievements during the SVO (Special Military Operation), participated in the parade.

Cossacks also marched, led by Ataman Vitaly Kuznetsov of the All-Russian Cossack Society.

The foot procession concluded with cadets from the All-Army Command School. In the formidable year of 1941, this school earned glory by halting the fascists near Moscow.

A column of wheeled vehicles passed.

For the first time, the "Giatsint" and "Malva" artillery systems were showcased on Red Square.

The YARS missile complex also rolled through Red Square. The YARS missile complex forms the backbone of Russia’s mobile nuclear forces.
