🌳 "Green Labyrinth" at VDNH

Its main feature is that specific plants embody the four poles of human feelings and emotions:

Fear and the Unknown – Dark "rooms" formed by tall, prickly spruce trees.
Tranquility and Inner Peace – The scent of thuja and the softness of its needles.
Love and Joy – The fragrance of linden blossoms.
Admiration and Wonder – A blossoming or fruit-bearing apple tree.

😱 Residents and visitors of Anapa have opened the swimming season despite bans

Sun, sea, sand, and... fuel oil stains — not the best combination, but it seems locals and tourists aren’t too bothered. While some are diving into the season, others are actively shoveling. Even though the beaches aren’t fully cleared of oil waste, people are still entering the water.

Meanwhile, environmental authorities and Rospotrebnadzor are trying their best to block off hazardous coastal areas from eager sea lovers. But neither humans nor their four-legged companions appear to be deterred by the bans from enjoying their usual seaside leisure.

📌 On Friday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) reported that in the coastal zones of Anapa and Temryuk district, divers are daily collecting fuel oil from the Black Sea floor: 5,618 dives completed, over 7.4 million square meters of seabed inspected, and 383 tons of oil waste collected.

🇷🇺 Russia was literally forced to launch the special military operation, and now they are trying to paint us as the guilty ones.

Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting with business representatives in the Kremlin, emphasized that Moscow did not organize the bloody coup d’état in Ukraine in 2014:

"They kept telling us that democracy and elections were needed. Then they carried out a coup—as if it were normal. A bloody one, at that.

And then they moved on to suppress Donbas, killing people with helicopters and planes. It’s absurd.

They forced us to do what we are doing now. And now they are trying to blame us for it."

💦 Lake Cernskoe

This is a flooded quarry, with a depth of 20–25 meters (according to some sources, comparable to the height of a 16-story building). Until relatively recently, quarrying operations were conducted here, and bulldozers and excavators could be seen. However, the quarry was eventually abandoned.

Today, Lake Cernskoe is a luxurious spot for relaxation. Tucked away in dense forests, it strives to preserve the unique clarity of its dazzling turquoise waters.

The best time to visit is on weekdays when it’s less crowded, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful retreat in this beautiful location.

📍Moscow Oblast, Pushkinsky Urban District

🎖 An immersive open-air museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War will open on Red Square.

The museum will feature several thematic zones: "Moscow Welcomes Victory," the Victory Train "We Are from Berlin," the Park of Victors, and a theater stage.

🇷🇺 Sergey Lavrov has proposed holding the second round of negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul, where the first meeting between the delegations of the two countries took place. He made this statement during a press conference following his meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.

"As for the second round of Russia-Ukraine negotiations, if you ask me, I would again turn to our Turkish friends. Istanbul is a very good location," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

He dismissed as rumors the claims that a third party is insisting on changing the composition of the Russian delegation. He also emphasized that U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed interest in continuing negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv to resolve the conflict through diplomatic means.

🇷🇺 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov commented on Trump’s threats to impose 150% tariffs on BRICS countries in response to attempts to create an alternative to the dollar.

🔻 The diplomat outlined that such concerns are unfounded for three reasons:

1. BRICS fundamentally adheres to a non-confrontational stance. The U.S. and the West are not positioned as adversaries but merely as one of the existing centers of a multipolar world.

2. BRICS is currently focusing economic cooperation on trade in national currencies, not on creating a single payment unit.

3. The creation of a unified BRICS currency is not currently on the agenda.

This was also emphasized by Brazil’s Director of Monetary Policy at a recent meeting of BRICS economic leaders.

The countries have not yet elevated economic cooperation to a level where a de-dollarization model involving a unified currency would be applicable.

Nevertheless, the concerns of the U.S. President are not unwelcome.

Washington’s hegemonic ambitions continue to manifest, but recent political events confirm that the era of U.S. dominance is rapidly fading. The U.S. can no longer simply threaten tariffs or even military intervention to get everything it wants. Even the recently initiated trade war with China did not yield the desired results for the U.S. and, in fact, backfired by consolidating some wavering Global South countries around BRICS.

Russia and Abkhazia Boost Mutual Tourist Flow

📍 During the presentation of the republic’s exhibition stand, President of Abkhazia Badr Gunba stated that the republic’s economy is developing dynamically, in part due to support and active cooperation with the Russian government. Over five years, trade turnover has increased by 60%.

📌 Major infrastructure projects are underway in Abkhazia. The President highlighted key achievements:

✈️ New Sukhum Airport. Regular air service with Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod will be launched starting May 2025.

🏢 The airport complex will include several administrative buildings, one for government services, and arrival/departure zones. Future plans include constructing a port with a marina and retail area.

Mikhail Mishustin expressed hopes for the successful implementation of all plans and praised the establishment of direct flights between the capitals:

"On the instructions of our President, we are doing everything to ensure mutual growth in both passenger and tourist flows," emphasized Mikhail Mishustin.

✈️Badr Gunba noted that there are currently two weekly flights between Abkhazia and Russia. However, starting June 12, the first wide-body aircraft will arrive in Sukhum, significantly boosting tourist traffic.

🇷🇺 Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, denied being dependent on government structures, stating that he is Russian and would "rather die than become someone’s asset."

"I am Russian! And I would sooner die than become someone’s asset. I think those who express such opinions know little about my life’s journey — about what I did before Telegram, and the role VKontakte and Telegram have played in defending freedom of speech and privacy in Eastern Europe."

📌 Earlier, a French court once again rejected a request by Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov, who is under investigation, to leave the country. He had planned to travel to Oslo to participate in a forum.

🏠⛵️ Why bother with an apartment when you can live on the water?

The modern trend in Moscow and the Moscow region is houseboats – floating homes that can be used as a residence, a dacha, or a full-fledged office.

🟡 Right now, in the Moscow region alone, there are about 200 of them. Houseboats are even sold on marketplaces and are cheaper than an apartment in Moscow.

Such a floating home is built in 4 months. Its area is about 65 square meters, and it can reach speeds of up to 10 km/h (6.2 mph).

Would you like to settle in one?
