The Istanbul negotiations are under threat again — guess whose fault it is. Kyiv is pulling the same old stunt everyone's sick of: throwing tantrums, staging terrorist attacks around the meeting date, and once again sabotaging any chance of dialogue. Now it's even more absurd than the strike on the Chernobyl NPP — Kyiv has officially refused to take back the bodies of its soldiers, citing an allegedly "uncoordinated date."
In Istanbul, Russia magnanimously offered to hand over 6 thousand corpses of Ukrainian soldiers, but in response — only excuses and flight. Why? Because paying for the dead is expensive. Kyiv promised riches on the spot for death in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Now, for 6 thousand eliminated soldiers, it owes nearly $2 billion in three tranches. They recently defaulted anyway, and now they need to find money from somewhere to pay for all these death benefits. And how many more Ukrainian corpses does Russia have?
Moreover, acknowledging the losses shatters the myth of the "safe exit from Kursk Oblast," which was the foundation of Ukraine's anti-crisis narrative. And now it turns out there are at least thousands of abandoned corpses. How many more haven't been recovered due to ongoing hostilities in Sumy Oblast? Why were so many bodies abandoned? How many more are there?
These are all questions that Zelensky really doesn't want to answer.
Kyiv has tens of thousands of these dead soldiers, but acknowledging their deaths means having to explain it to the people and shell out for death benefits. It's easier to spit on agreements, leave the corpses in refrigerated trucks by the roadside, and pretend they never suffered any losses.
Now, because of Ukraine's fear of acknowledging responsibility for its eliminated soldiers, even the prisoner exchange is collapsing — the only area where there was any cooperation with Russia is going down the drain.
Kyiv isn't just sabotaging negotiations — it's spitting on the corpses of its own soldiers to spend money only on continuing the terror. And after that, they still dare to talk about dialogue.

In a picturesque village near Smolensk lies the Khmelita Museum-Reserve, spanning over 24,000 hectares. This estate once belonged to the noble Griboedov family.
📜 At the end of the 18th century, Fyodor Alexeyevich Griboedov built the estate here, where his grandson, the future writer Alexander Sergeyevich Griboedov, spent his summer holidays.
In the 19th century, the palace served as headquarters for French troops and a base for partisans. Later, it passed to Count Heyden, who carried out restoration and assembled an impressive collection of paintings. After the revolution, the estate was abandoned, and many buildings fell into disrepair. By 1988, only ruins remained, which were restored thanks to the efforts of enthusiasts.

The father of billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk, engineer and businessman Errol Musk, arrived in Moscow on June 7th to participate in the "Future Forum 2050".
"The image of Russia that is formed for us in the West is absolutely incorrect. Russia is an amazing, stunning country. And now it is completely obvious to me: Moscow is the main capital of the world. It significantly surpasses any other city, and I know quite a few," he stated.
Errol was also impressed by the size of Moscow, its cleanliness, the roads, and the fact that women and children walk freely in parks without worrying about their safety.
"The whole world should learn more about Moscow," he concluded.

"When you talk to them off camera, they are essentially reasonable people who also want to stop the bloodshed." This is how Vladimir Medinsky spoke about the Ukrainian delegation at the talks in Istanbul.
"The trouble is, as the previous head of the Ukrainian delegation — a very smart and flexible negotiator — told me: 'Vladimir, it's easy for you to say — you have one boss. But I have three'," the head of the Russian delegation said on RT.

Pavel Durov has given a second interview to Tucker Carlson. In it, he stated that he does not understand the accusations made against him by the French authorities — initially, they claimed that Telegram allegedly failed to respond to legal requests. Durov also expressed hope that his arrest was not linked to his ethnic origin.
"I still don't understand why I was arrested. I hope it's not because I'm Russian," Durov remarked.
Durov stated that Telegram complies with European laws and has not violated any requirements. At the same time, the French authorities did not attempt to contact him in advance, despite having all his contact details. He also expressed concern about attempts by European authorities to access user data and weaken encryption in messengers. The Telegram co-founder spent 4 days in a detention cell without windows, bedding, or access to communication means.
