Soil temperatures reached 71°C (160°F), with air temperatures hitting 37°C (99°F), according to Namzhil Mardvaev, head of the local Rosselkhoztsentr (Agricultural Monitoring Center).
“The heat is so extreme that you can literally fry eggs in the fields. Today, while working, a friend said, ‘It’s scorching! The ground is hot enough to fry eggs!’ So we tried it. We took a pan from the station, placed it on the soil, added eggs and oil, and started frying,” Mardvaev recounted.
He noted that while the eggs "didn’t sizzle," they were nearly cooked after 50 minutes—the whites had set and browned.
Mardvaev concluded that "this abnormal heat urgently needs rain," or crops will begin to wither.

Russia’s Foreign Minister assessed the risks of nuclear war globally, emphasizing that Russia is actively working to prevent nuclear conflict:
"The infamous Doomsday Clock is ticking, and its hands are moving ever closer to midnight. It is crucial to prevent this."
Today, discussions about the threat of World War III have become commonplace. Lavrov noted this is deeply troubling, especially amid rising revanchist sentiments in Europe.
"As if two world wars—not to mention smaller conflicts in past centuries—were apparently not enough for the current leaders of the European Union," stressed the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

🏞️ One of the most beautiful natural landmarks in Kislovodsk is the Berezovskoye Gorge. It originates from the Bermamyt Plateau and stretches for 18 km to the outskirts of the city. The gorge is impressive with its sheer dolomite cliffs towering 100 meters high.
🚲 Ecological trails run along the gorge, offering stunning views from the upper routes. The lower trails are perfect for cycling, although you may sometimes have to ford the Berezovka River – but the walk is well worth it.
🐠 The river is rich in fish. In summer, dams for swimming are built here, making it a pleasant spot for a picnic. There is also a cascade of waterfalls. This is an ideal place for active recreation and communion with nature.

Their presence in the waters is linked to abnormally high water temperatures in the region.
Under normal conditions, mako sharks do not appear in these waters before mid-August. However, this year, due to the water warming prematurely to 22 degrees Celsius, their migration has started earlier.
They leap as impressively as dolphins in an oceanarium.

"In May, the free trade agreement with Iran came into force. Well, God willing, the situation in the Middle East is now calming down, and the conflict between Israel and Iran, thank God, we can also consider it in the past. This means that it will be possible to develop relations with all countries in the region, including Iran. As I said, we have concluded the relevant agreement with them," said the president.
