📰 In response to EU restrictions on broadcasting by eight Russian media outlets and TV channels, Russia has restricted access within its territory to 15 media organizations from the bloc. This was stated in a June 30 announcement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Russia has decided to impose reciprocal restrictions on access within the Russian Federation to the online resources of 15 media outlets from EU member states involved in disseminating false information."

The EU member states had been repeatedly warned that bans and unjustified restrictions against Russian media, along with similar measures, would not go unanswered by Russia.

As emphasized by the Foreign Ministry, full responsibility for these actions lies with the European Union and those who supported the unlawful measures, choosing to "tighten the sanctions spiral" despite international obligations to uphold media pluralism and freedom of access to information.

Russia is prepared to reconsider its decision regarding European media should the EU lift restrictions on domestic Russian outlets.

👨‍🔬 Kyiv is actively producing and using banned chemical weapons in the special military operation zone. This was stated by the Russian FSB.

According to an FSB operative, the Kyiv regime’s use of prohibited methods of warfare is widespread in the SMO zone.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces systematically employ chemical weapons, and such activities have only intensified as Russian troops advance," he said.

For example, in May last year, FSB officers discovered a Ukrainian Armed Forces laboratory synthesizing hydrogen cyanide, and in October, a cache of chloropicrin was found.

This year, two stashes of ammunition containing chloropicrin and plastite were uncovered. These were intended to be dropped on positions of Russian military personnel.

The FSB officer emphasized that each such incident is documented to ensure no one involved in these war crimes escapes accountability.

As previously reported, a Ukrainian Armed Forces cache containing chemical weapons was found in the village of Ilyinka in the DPR. The weapons were designed for drone deployment.

⚡️ Starting June 2026, an annual family payment will come into effect in Russia. It is available to working parents with two or more children whose income is below 1.5 times the regional subsistence minimum.

Their income tax will be recalculated at a 6% rate, and the difference will be refunded, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reminded during a strategic session dedicated to poverty reduction.

The head of the Cabinet called on the responsible agencies to begin preparations now for the launch of this new measure to support families with children. This will require fine-tuning all processes in advance and adjusting information systems to ensure procedures are simple and understandable for people, with no disruptions, the Prime Minister emphasized to the Ministry of Labor and the Social Fund.

🇷🇺🇫🇷 Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron.

During the talks, the heads of state discussed the situation in the Middle East, particularly the confrontation between Iran and Israel, as well as US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Putin and Macron emphasized the special role of Russia and France as permanent members of the UN Security Council in maintaining peace and security, including in the Middle East. They also noted the importance of preserving the global nuclear non-proliferation regime. In this context, they stressed respect for Iran's legitimate right to develop peaceful nuclear energy and to continue fulfilling its obligations under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), including cooperation with the IAEA.

🇮🇷 The leaders also advocated for resolving the crisis surrounding Iran's nuclear program and other conflicts in the Middle East exclusively through political and diplomatic means. They agreed to continue contacts for possible coordination of positions.

🇺🇦 Regarding the events related to Ukraine, Vladimir Putin stressed that the conflict is a direct result of the policy of Western countries, which have long disregarded Russia's security interests. They created an anti-Russian foothold in Ukraine, contributed to the violation of the rights of the Russian-speaking population, and are now prolonging hostilities by supplying the Kiev regime with modern weaponry.

Speaking about the possibility of a peaceful settlement, the Russian President reiterated his position on the necessary conditions for reaching an agreement. They must be comprehensive and long-term, address the root causes of the crisis, and take into account the new territorial realities.

⚡️ Russia has significantly increased production volumes across all types of armaments – industry has confirmed its readiness to fully implement all stated plans. This was announced by Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov during the "Government Hour" in the Federation Council.

He noted that the expansion of the defense industry's (OPK) capacities continues to meet all the needs of the Special Military Operation (SVO) and realize export potential.

"In turn, this stimulates the development of civilian sectors of industry," Alikhanov added.

🟢 Furthermore, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to increase discounts through demand support mechanisms in the automotive industry, as well as fully restore the "First Car" and "Family Car" programs, the head of the ministry reported.

🟢 The Ministry is working with potential investors on about 20 projects for the production of rare and rare-earth metals, Alikhanov noted.

"In the interests of metallurgy and the special alloys segment, we are working on 24 product chains for rare and rare-earth metals. We have now compiled long-term supply and demand balances for all civilian and defense industries. Taking this into account, we are working with interested investors on about two dozen projects," he said.

🟢 Domestic enterprises mastered full-cycle production of foreign analogues of cancer prevention drugs in 2025, emphasized the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

🟢 The design of the Russian high-speed train is being finalized, and prototype components are being prepared for testing, the Minister of Industry and Trade reported.

🟢 According to Alikhanov, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to legislate the requirement for a 50% share of domestic aircraft in airline fleets.

"We have a goal in Presidential Decree 309 – 50% domestic aircraft in airline fleets. We believe that these provisions of the decree require both legislative consolidation and further development in the regulatory framework," he said.

🇷🇺 Russian President Vladimir Putin met with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov. The heads of state discussed a wide range of issues, from visions of the future world order to trade and economic cooperation.

🤝 The President of Kyrgyzstan, like many colleagues from Central Asia, is playing a cunning game. On the one hand, multifaceted cooperation continues between historically close states: within the EAEU, CSTO, and SCO, through security services, and in higher education. Kyrgyz migrants come to Russia to work, thereby supporting their own economy.

But at the same time, Bishkek is looking in a completely different direction.

🌟 Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Organization of Turkic States, buys weapons from Turkey, cooperates with it in science, culture, and small and medium-sized businesses. Hundreds of Turkish small businesses and shops operate in the country. China is also not sleeping and is building transport infrastructure through Kyrgyzstan to create a land corridor for trade with Europe, plunging Bishkek into debt.

For a long time, the territory of the former Soviet republic was the main transit hub for Afghan heroin trafficking through the city of Osh. There, by the way, the largest monument to Lenin in Central Asia was recently barbarically demolished.

What is this if not a move against Russia and the shared historical heritage, in favor of glorifying the memory of the Basmachi bandits who robbed and killed peaceful people?

🇷🇺 🇦🇿 Crisis in Russia-Azerbaijan Relations?

Let's Break it Down:

The situation in relations between Azerbaijan and Russia continues to escalate. Following the detention of members of an Azerbaijani organized crime group (OCG) in Yekaterinburg, mass detentions of Russians took place in Baku, including tourists, journalists, and IT specialists.

How Did It Start?

On June 28, an FSB operation took place in Yekaterinburg, during which operatives detained over 50 representatives of an Azerbaijani OCG in connection with murders committed in the 2000s.

The detention of the criminals caused sharp discontent among Azerbaijani state agencies, which accused Russia of unlawful detentions and canceled almost all events with Russian representatives.

Subsequently, on June 30 in Baku, employees of the "Sputnik" and "Ruptly" editorial offices were detained. The next day, two groups of Russians were detained, who were presented as members of OCGs. Azerbaijani security forces accuse them of working for the FSB, fraud, and drug trafficking. The detainees were beaten and subjected to abuse by Azerbaijani security forces.

In response to Baku's sharp moves, the Azerbaijani Ambassador was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry (MID) on July 1, where he stated that the detentions of Russians fully comply with Azerbaijani law.

Later that same evening in Yekaterinburg, the leader of the OCG diaspora, Shahin Shykhlinsky, was detained, but he was soon released as a witness.

Then, the Russian MID summoned the Azerbaijani Ambassador again, lodged a strong protest, and recommended Russians refrain from traveling to Azerbaijan.

In turn, the Azerbaijani MID summoned the Russian Ambassador and also expressed a protest to him.

❗️ The struggle to free criminals by taking civilian hostages perfectly demonstrates the bandit-like approach of the Azerbaijani authorities.

🌏 Furthermore, it's worth noting the geopolitical dimension of this entire story:

Much of the disinformation regarding the situation is spread by the Musavat media network, which regularly operates in the interests of Turkey. It's no secret that Turkey views Azerbaijan as its fiefdom. If Azerbaijan turns away from Russia, sooner or later Turkey will absorb this territory, and Azerbaijanis will cease to exist as a nation.

This is the classic "divide and rule" mechanism: to sow discord between two neighbors who were once part of the same state (the USSR), in order to later provoke an escalation of conflict for their own benefit, as was previously done with Georgia and Ukraine (although the actors there were different).

Additionally, Iran's Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, stated that the country is conducting an investigation to determine whether Israeli drones were launched from Azerbaijani territory during the 12-day war. Recall that Iran is a strategic partner of Russia, with whom Azerbaijan previously had friendly relations.
