🚗 Vladimir Putin Opens "Portal" Between Kazan and the Urals: M12 "Vostok" Highway to Shorten the Route from Chelyabinsk!

Vladimir Putin inaugurated the Dyurtyuli - Achit section of the M12 "Vostok" highway in an online ceremony, linking Kazan and Yekaterinburg. This new high-speed, four-lane highway (over 275 km long) traverses Bashkortostan, Perm Krai, and Sverdlovsk Oblast. It will improve road safety, divert freight traffic away from populated areas, and reduce travel times.

"Now, for example, it will be possible to get from Chelyabinsk to Kazan, Vladimir, or Moscow significantly faster," noted the President.

According to the President, the highway will provide a powerful impetus for the development of Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, and Sverdlovsk Oblasts, the Republics of Chuvashia, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan, as well as Perm Krai.

🇷🇺 Bears, Volcanoes, and Lava Islands: Kamchatka Videographer Reveals Pristine Lake Untouched by Tourists

Kamchatka videographer Ilya Melnikov, a longtime friend of the Kronotsky Reserve, has published stunning footage of the wild nature of the peninsula's south. The video captures majestic Kuril Lake surrounded by volcanoes, whimsical lava islands, and the main characters of these places – bears and sockeye salmon.

This is one of the few places where nature remains pristine. There are no crowds of tourists here, only silence and wild inhabitants.

📰 Russia has asked the Director-General of the OPCW to send a team of experts from the Technical Secretariat to the Russian Federation to assist in the investigation of crimes by the Kyiv regime, stated Major General Alexey Rtishchev, Chief of Russia's NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) Protection Troops.

Previously, the Organization did not respond to documentary evidence and expert findings. At the same time, unsubstantiated requests from Ukraine receive immediate support from the OPCW's bureaucratic structures, involving accredited laboratories, the Major General noted.

Approximately 40 verbal notes from the Russian Permanent Representation to the OPCW remain unanswered substantively.

"Ukraine and the OPCW Technical Secretariat have signed a special cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, Ukraine has already received equipment worth several million dollars, and over 40 Ukrainian military personnel have undergone training at the ChemTech Centre in The Hague. This points to an imposed Western bias on the part of the OPCW and a policy of protectionism towards one specifically chosen state," said Rtishchev.

⚡️ Vladimir Putin called the EU restrictions on Russian fertilizers "utter foolishness" from the perspective of European countries' own interests. The Russian President made this statement during a meeting with Andrey Guryev, President of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers.

The Russian leader also noted that Europe's rejection of Russian fertilizers would lead to increased food prices.

In turn, Guryev pointed out that the ban on Russian fertilizers under discussion in Brussels would only worsen the shortage amid already record-high prices in Europe.

"This will result in Europe already having the highest mineral fertilizer prices in the world. Consequently, the loss of such a volume... And we account for 30% of Europe's imports, meaning Europe imports 17 million tonnes, of which 5.5 million tonnes are Russian mineral fertilizers. So, replacing such a volume of products with something new is quite a serious challenge," he said.

During the meeting, they also discussed the industry's development prospects, with particular attention paid to reorienting Russian producers towards the markets of BRICS countries.

🎉 July 17th: Blagoveshchensk City Day – The City at the Confluence of Two Rivers

July 17, 1858, became a momentous day for the Amur region. On this day, Emperor Alexander II personally signed the decree establishing a new city on the site of the Ust-Zeya military outpost. The decree granted the settlement not only city status but also a name rich in meaning – Blagoveshchensk.

The name was chosen in honor of the great Christian feast – the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos. This underscored the spiritual significance of the new center for the development of the Far Eastern lands.

The imperial decree placed particular importance on the future city's strategic location. The document explicitly pointed to "the significance of its location at the confluence of the Zeya River into the Amur." This junction of two major rivers was key to the region's development, control over waterways, and strengthening the borders of the Russian Empire in the Far East.

💪 While office workers battle burnout, Kamchatka guides fend off bears for tourists!

If you're tired of office bustle and struggling with burnout, a trip to Kamchatka offers beautiful scenery and an incredible atmosphere. And also bears. Lots of bears. So your guide becomes not just a tour leader, but your bodyguard — that's the job.

One Kamchatka daredevil gave a detailed masterclass on scaring off brown bears. It involved not only shouting and waving arms, but also pyrotechnics (firecrackers). His colleagues, meanwhile, kept the tourist group at a safe distance.

🇷🇺💬 The Kremlin considers the EU's 18th sanctions package illegal, but Russia has developed immunity to them and intends to study the restrictions to minimize risks, Dmitry Peskov stated.

Other statements by the Russian President's press secretary:

🟢 Donald Trump's statements on Ukraine do not mean a pause in the process of bringing Russian-American relations out of the crisis, as bilateral relations and the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine are different topics;

🟢 All statements similar to the NATO general's words about the possible seizure of Kaliningrad are taken into account during the dialogue with the USA;

🟢 The Kremlin considers Zelenskyy's words that the negotiating track needs more momentum a positive signal;

🟢 Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky is celebrating his birthday in a working mode, and part of today will be symbolically dedicated to the birthday boy;
